So I was in WMMA2, rolling along as SIGMA. I reach Low Level National and get a PPV deal. I decide to run my first PPV...and every main event I try to book, the fan feedback says it would be a "very poor" main event. Am I just screwed now?

I think I'm stuck.

Depends how you think of it. You'll probably take a reputation hit on this show, but the money you rake in will be huge, giving you time to go down and put on some bigger shows if you want to climb back up.
A nice trick is to put two nobodies in your main event (temporarily), than go through your possible main events and see what the fans have to say about them as a co-main - at least that way you'll know which fights are towards the high end of very poor and which are towards the low end. :)

That's just WMMA2 simulating real life - it's just not possible to put on a main event people are going to want to see every single show without killing your stars. You're going to have to spend more time building up your top stars to the point that you have guys who can feasibly main event a show for that company size.

Get yourself a TV show too. I just had a guy go from unknown to low level national just by winning a 4 man tournament on TV.
