FWA Death Row Preview

Sunday 29th April 2007

Vansen vs Williams III - No Holds Barred!

Fans, its becomming one of the biggest rivalries in FWA history, and the final encounter will take place at Death Row. On 2 occasions now, Williams has come within an inch of dethroning Hade Vansen as the FWA British Heavyweight Champion, only for a mysterious masked man to scupper his attempts. Well now at Death Row, security will be around the ring to prevent any interference, and these 2 guys will be able to rip each other apart. Anything goes, and will Doug Williams finally win the FWA British Heavyweight Champion? Or can Hade Vansen prove that he is legit? Its going to be awesome!

Travis Is Back, and He Wants Shane!

At New Beginnings, Alex Shane was beaten in record time by Dom Travis, who paid the price when Shane brutally decimated him. At Oblivion, Alex Shane got in the returning Paul Burchill's face, only for Burchill to reveal that Travis is back. Travis is looking for Shane's blood, and these 2 men will go at it, with Shane desperate to rectify the defeat he suffered at New Beginnings.

Lethal vs Storm - Who Will Pac Choose?

Its not often that a champion gets to pick their challenger. Usually someone earns the right to challenge for the belt, or makes his challenge heard. But at Death Row, 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm faces Jay lethal for contendership, and the FWA Flyweight Champion, Pac is the guest referee. But Pac has made it clear to us here at frontierwrestling.co.uk that he is going to call this one right down the middle. Either way, whoever wins, Pac will have a huge task in defending that title belt.

Hardcore Tag Team Action!

The UK Pitbulls have made it their mission to not just dethrone the FWA Tag Team Champions, Stixx and Stone, but to destroy them. Under the guidance of their new manager, Greg Lambert, Bulk and Big D got themselves DQ'd at Oblivion, but made sure that the champs knew they were in a real fight now. This month, the titles will be on the line again, as Stixx and Stone have demanded this match be a hardcore tag match. No tag's, loads of weapons.....this is going to be a real fight!

Contract Signing!

Don Callis has made it clear that he wants James Tighe to return the title belt to Leroy Kincade. Tighe has made it clear he should be champion. With Kincade's injury set to heal by the beginning of may, Callis has drawn up a contract for both men to sign for a title match at May's 'May-Day' event. But how can James Tighe and Leroy Kincade possibly co-exist in the same ring? Callis will have his hands full.

Number One Contendership To Be Sorted!

With the Williams/Vansen saga set to end at Death Row, the FWA will need another challenger. Hence the reason for Callis to book a 3 way match for the title shot between well.....3 men who cant stand each other. Jody Fleisch, Stevie Knight and Joe Legend have been at each others throats for months now.....and now they will battle for a shot at the biggest prize in British Wrestling.

Fans, we are coming to you from the Harrow High School Gymnasium, in Harrow, and its going to be off the charts. Make sure you dont miss.......FWA DEATH ROW!!

Guest Power Master

I'm loving this diary, it makes FWA Seem a lot better than what there actually churing out now adays! My only concern is the lack of other talent your not using. I mean FWA pushed a load of talent on their shows while having there main things going on.

Anyway, Keep up the good work!

FWA Death Row

Sunday 29th April 2007

Fans its me again, Robert Enright, Rajah's one and only British Wrestling Reporter. The Harrow High School Gymnasium was packed, not an empty seat in the house. 280 people were here for this, so lets get on with it:

Number One Contendership To The FWA British Heavyweight Championship

Jody Fleisch vs Stevie Knight vs Joe Legend

Fleisch got a huge cheer, and this match was a great way to kick off the show. Fleisch and Knight immediatly attacked Legend, nailing him with rights. They sent him to the ropes, and nailed a double dropkick. They then pulled Legend up, and hurled him through the ropes. As Legend got up, Knight ran and nailed a baseball slide, knocking him against the fan rail, and Fleisch ran.....AND NAILED A FLIPPING PLANCHA ON LEGEND! The crowd rose to their feet, and a big 'FWA' chant echoed. Fleisch rolled back in, and immediatly, Knight stomped on him. Knight angrily hauled Fleisch up, and whipped him to the ropes, and nailed a nice Powerslam. He got a 2 count, and Knight pulled Fleisch up, and threw him into the turnbuckle. He nailed some hard rights, and then sat Fleisch on the top rope. He climbed up next to him, but Fleisch nailed some rights.....AND LEAPT OFF WITH KNIGHT.....TOP ROPE DDT!! The crowd went wild, and Fleisch covered.....1......2...LEGEND IS BACK IN AND BROKE IT UP! Legend angrily pulls Fleisch up, knee to the gut.....BACKBREAKER!!

He turned his attentions to Knight, and nailed a sickening big boot as he got up. He then wipped Knight to the ropes, and nailed a hard clothesline, followed bya massive elbow drop. He turned, and Fleisch came off the ropes, but Legend caught him......CAPTURE SUPLEX!! He covered.....but Fleisch kicked out. Legend pulled Fleisch up, and whipped him into the turnbuckle. He nailed some hard shoulder blocks, and then whipped Knight across to the other turnbuckle. But as Legend charged, Fleisch nailed a spinning wheel kick. He pulled Legend up, and they traded rights, and Knight climbed to the top rope......DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK!! The crowd went mad, and Knight covered Legend, but Legend kicked out at 2. Knight pulled Fleisch up, but Fleisch nailed a jaw breaker, ran to the ropes, and nailed a spinning headscissors take over. Fleisch turned, and got flattened by a sickening big boot by Legend.

Legend pulled Knight up, and went for the Godzille Choke Bomb. But Knight wriggled free, and he dropkicked Legend through the ropes. As Knight turned, Fleisch was on the apron, and he jumped onto the rope, and leapt off.....PHOENIX 720 DDT!! He covered.....1......2......3!! FLEISCH WINS IT! Legend is on the outside, and he couldnt believe it. Fleisch leaves up the aisle, still celebrating his win. FLEISCH IS NOW INLINE FOR A TITLE SHOT!

Winner and Number One Contender To The FWA British Heavyweight Championship: Jody Fleisch

(CR:58 MQ:74 OR:66)

Rob's Thoughts: What a way to kick off the show. Fleisch has a title shot now, and Legend remains dominant as he wasnt pinned. Feel bad for Knight, as he seemed like the only one without a real shot of winning. Ah well.....Fleisch will be looking for a third title reign now!

After the match, Legend angrily grabbed a mic from the time keeper. He said that Fleisch is the luckiest piece of trash, as that title shot should be his. But it doesnt matter.....because very soon, everyone in the FWA, and all the fans will realise just how dangerous Joe Legend truly is. Legend then stormed off to alot of heat.

(OR:67)

Rob's Thoughts: I like the way the FWA are building Legend as a major heel, and by giving him mic time, it solidifies it. What has he got instore for us? I cant wait!

FWA Tag Team Championships

Hardcore

Stixx & Stone© vs UK Pitbulls /w Greg Lambert

This match got started in the aisle way, as the Tag Champs wasted little time in waiting for their opponents to hit the ring. Stixx and Bulk brawled toward the ring, as Stone rammed Big D into the fan barrier. Stixx slammed Bulk into the steel steps, and then went under the ring. The crowd went wild, as he pulled out a Kendo Stick, and he slammed it against the ribs of Bulk, and then cracked him over the head with it. On the rampway, Greg Lambert hit Stone from behind with a right, and as Stone went for Lambert, Big D nailed a shuffle sidekick, sending him down. Big D charged down the ramp, and squashed Stixx against the ring apron. He then pulled Stixx up, and rammed him face first into the ring post, and covered.....but Stixx kicked out. Big D rolled him into the ring, and hurled the Kendo Stick in, along with a trash can, a steel chair, and a stop sign. How cliche!

He entered, and stalked Stixx with a trash can. But Stixx ducked the attempt, and as Big D turned, Stixx dropkicked the trash can right into his face. The crowd cheered, and Stixx pulled the trash can up, and slammed it in the corner. He pulled Big D up, but Bulk entered and hit Stixx in the back with the stop sign. Stixx went down, and Bulk pulled him up, and whipped him face first into the trash can, and Stixx is bleeding now. Stone entered, and he took Bulk down with a clothesline, and then nailed Big D with a DDT, and the crowd seemed more interested in this match now all 4 men are in the ring. Stone picked up the steel chair, and he hammered Big D in the spine with it, turned.....and Bulk nailed him in the gut with kendo stick. Stone dropped the chair, but ducked the following shot, and he speared Bulk.....AND BOTH MEN FELL OUT OF THE RING!! The crowd cheered, and in the ring, Stixx is back up, bleeding, and he pulled Big D up, and nailed him with a hard shot to the head with the trash can lid.....BENDING IT COMPLETELY!

Outside the ring, the crowd cheered, as Martin Stone pulled a table out from under the ring, and set it up. The Tag Champs are taking it to the UK Pitbulls, and the fans are loving it. Stone slowly pulled Bulk up onto the apron, overlooking the table, while in the ring, Stixx laid the trash can on the mat, and pulls Big D up. On the apron however, Lambert gets up......AND PEPPER SPRAYS MARTIN STONE!! The crowd boo, and Bulk lifted him up.....BULKISHI DRIVER OFF THE APRON THROUGH THE TABLE!! The crowd went wild for the spot, and in the ring, Stixx nailed Big D with a DDT onto the trash can. But Bulk covers first.....1.......2.....3!! THE UK PITBULLS HAVE WON THE TAG TITLES!! Stixx cant believe it, and Lambert quickly grabbed the belts, and held them up high, as Bulk pulled his laid out partner out of the ring. Stone lays motionless amongst the wreckage on the outside.

Winners and NEW FWA Tag Team Champions: UK Pitbulls

(CR:27 MQ:77 OR:52)

Rob's Thoughts: NEW TAG CHAMPS! A good decision, and the ending made it seem that it could go either way, and should draw this feud out a little longer. Nice to see a title change every now and then, and the UK Pitbulls are a solid team to put the belts on.

Number One Contendership To The FWA Flyweight Championship

Special Guest Referee: Pac

Jonny Storm vs Jay Lethal

Lethal got another big reception, and Pac made it quite clear to both men that he was going to call this down the middle. They started off with some chain wrestling, neither man getting a clear advantage, as everything Storm tried, Lethal had an answer for. Lethal nailed a hip toss, and then laid Storm out with a dropkick. He went off the ropes, and nailed a leg drop, but only got a 1 count. He pulled Storm up, and Storm broke free and nailed a knee to the gut, followed by a gut buster. He covered, and got a 2 count. He pulled Lethal up, and whipped him hard into the turnbuckle, bounced off the ropes, and nailed a massive bulldog. He turned and motioned to Pac that the belt would be his. Lethal got back up, and nailed a Hurricanrana on Storm, and pinned....1.....2...KICK OUT! Storm rolled out of the ring for a few moments, and Lethal looked at the fans, who went crazy. He raced to the ropes.....FLIPPING PLANCHA OVER THEM.....STORM MOVED!! Lethal landed hard on the outside, and the crowd boo as Storm laughed. He pointed to his head, and said 'ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD!' And he is....that sneaky bastard!

Storm pulled the hurt Lethal up, and rolled him into the ring. He then went to the top rope.....AND NAILED THE THUNDERSTORM! (Senton Splash) He covered....1.....2...KICK OUT! He argued with Pac that it was a slow count, and Pac ignored him. Storm pulled Lethal up, and went for the Wonderwhirl, but Lethal wriggled free, went to the ropes.....ducked a clothesline....AND NAILED STORM WITH A SWINGING TORNADO DDT!! The crowd cheered and he covered....1.....2...KICK OUT! He pulled Storm up, but Storm grabbed his foot.....ENZUFURY!! The crowd cheered, and Lethal covered....and again got a 2 count. He glared at Pac, who made it clear it was 2. With Storm down, Lethal went to the top rope.....but Storm is up......hops up next to him......PERFECT STORM!! (Japanes Arm Drag)....RIGHT OFF THE TOP ROPE!! Storm covered.....AND AGAIN....LETHAL KICKED OUT! The crowd applauded wildly, both men refusing to go down here. Storm pulled Lethal up, and went for a Powerbomb, but Lethal went off the ropes......LETHAL DRIVER!! The crowd cheered, and he covered....1.......2......NO!! STORM GOT THE SHOULDER UP!

Lethal angrily pulled Storm up, and nailed a snap suplex. He went to the top rope.....DIVING HEADBUTT.....STORM ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY!! Lethal got up woozily, and just so happened to wonder infront of the turnbuckle. Storm charaged, leapt over him, bounced off the top rope......REWIND STORMIN STEINER.....NO.....LETHAL NAILS THE LETHAL INJECTION!! The crowd went wild, and Lethal covered....1......2.....3!! LETHAL WINS IT! The crowd went wild, and Pac raised Lethal's hand in triumph. Pac then held up the FWA Flyweight Championship belt between him and Lethal, as they stared down.

Winner and Number One Contender To The FWA Flyweight Championship: Jay Lethal

(CR:32 MQ:86 OR:59)

Rob's Thoughts: Great match. A bit of a spotfest, but will be good for any fans of quick paced, high flying wrestling. Storm did the job, and now hopefully can move away from the division. He's helped make it credible enough now. Also, Pac vs Lethal was great at Oblivion....so the title match will kick arse.

After the ring was cleared, a table was placed in the ring, and the crowd cheered as Don Callis walked out. He entered the ring with 2 clipboards, and placed them either side of the table. He took a mic, and said that he has drawn up contracts that he wants Leroy Kincade and James Tighe to sign, so they will face off for the FWA All-England Championship at May-Day. Leroy Kincade came out first, to a good cheer, and said absolutly nothing....he just signed the contract.

Next, James Tighe walked out, with Kincade's title belt around his waist. He entered, and said that this title belt will be coming back to his waist next month. Callis demanded that Tighe hand Kincade his belt, and as Tighe went to do it.....HE FLATTENED KINCADE WITH IT! The crowd booed, and Tighe dropped the belt on him, and signed the contract. He slammed the clipboard into Callis's chest, and walked off, and the crowd booed him out the arena.

(OR:43)

Rob's Thoughts: Nice little segment. Was longer than I wrote, but couldnt remember what was said between Tighe and Callis. Tighe is really getting over as a heel, and this title match will be eagerly awaited.

Alex Shane vs Dom Travis /w Paul Burchill

When Travis walked out, he got a little cheer, but Burchill got a huge cheer as he walked out with him. Burchill watched at ringside, and as soon as Travis entered, Shane stomped on him. He roughly pulled him up, and whipped him to the ropes, but Travis reversed it and sent Shane down with a clothesline. Shane got up and went nose to nose with a man who was the same height and weight as him. Shane shoved Travis, who shoved back, and Shane took Travis down by the legs and began hammering him with rights. Travis rolled on top and began hammering Shane with rights. They eventually rolled out of the ring, and continued their brawl on the outside. Shane got up first, and he booted Travis in the gut, and then rammed him into the steel steps. Travis got up slightly dazed, and Alex Shane picked up a chair......WHACK!! HE HAMMERED TRAVIS OVER THE HEAD WITH IT!! The referee immediatly called for the bell, and Alex Shane threw the chair into the ring, and rolled Travis is an aswell. Burchill looked on worried, as a massive 'WE WANT BURCHILL!' chant started up.

Shane picked up the chair and stalked Travis as he got up. As Travis turned.....WHACK!! ANOTHER SICKENING SHOT! The crowd are really booing Shane, who points at Burchill and yells 'THIS IS YOUR FAULT!' Travis is bleeding, and he slowly gets up to his feet again. He turned, and Shane through the chair and he caught it......SHANESATION KICK.....RIGHT INTO THE CHAIR!! The crowd booed, and Alex Shane raises his hands to taunt them. Paul Burchill has a mic in his hand, and as Shane went to pick Travis up again, Burchill entered the ring. He said 'HE'S HAD ENOUGH SHANE!' and Shane calmly exits the ring, and walks up to the back.

Winner by DQ: Dom Travis

(CR:47 MQ:87 OR:67)

Rob's Thoughts: Intriguing angle here. Shane really wants to just hurt Travis, and by losing the matches, it solidifies him as a maniac, and also gets Travis more and more over.

As Shane was leaving, a bloodied Dom Travis pulled himself up, and took the mic off Paul Burchill. He said no offence Paul, but Ill decide when Ive had enough. And Shane.....IM STILL STANDING! He said that Shane can hit him with chairs, he can slam him through tables, but Travis is still standing. And at May-Day....he challenges Alex Shane.....to a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!!

The crowd cheered, and Shane looked a mixture of anger and is that fear? Burchill looked shocked at Travis's challenge, and the crowd cheered the bloodied Travis, as he screamed at Shane. Shane left without answering.

(OR:66)

Rob's Thoughts: Nice!!! Shane vs Travis is becomming the brutal feud that the FWA has been looking for. And Travis not backing down is really making him seem legit. This Last Man Standing match might not be a technical masterpiece, but it will be one hell of a fight. I CANT WAIT!

After the ring was cleared, 8 security guards walked down the ramp, and they stood at all the corners of the fan barrier, to ensure no masked men could get involved. FWA British Heavyweight Championship time......THE MOMENT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!

FWA British Heavyweight Championship

No Holds Barred

Hade Vansen© vs Doug Williams

Vansen got good heat as he came out, but Williams got a massive ovation. The 2 stared down, as the ref held the belt up. The third and final chapter of the Williams/Vansen saga is about to begin. They hooked up, and Williams went behind, and took Vansen down. he locked on a headlock, but Vansen wriggled free, and nailed a snapmare, and then booted Williams right in the base of the spine. He bounced off the ropes, and flipped over Williams, and pulled his head forward, causing him to snap backwards. Vansen has started with a fire in his belly, and he pulled Williams up, and slammed his head off the turnbuckle, and then nailed a hard martial arts kick to the stomach. He went for another one, but Williams grabbed his foot, pulled him in.....BELLY TO BELLY OVER THE ROPES! The crowd went wild, and Vansen landed hard. Williams rolled out, and he pulled Vansen up, and roughly hurled him into the fan barrier, and then nailed some stinging chops, which the crowd 'WOOOOED' at. For 2 'technical' wrestlers, they are putting on a real fight here.

Williams angrily runs, and throws Vansen across the time keepers table, knocking off everything that was on it. The crowd cheered, and as Williams went round to pick Vansen up......DING! VANSEN NAILED HIM WITH THE RING BELL!! The crowd booed, and Vansen angrily ran and slammed a dazed Williams into the ring steps. Vansen looked under the ring, and the crowd cheered, as he pulled out a table. Havent we seen enough of them tonight? Vansen slid it into the ring, and as he went for Williams, the 'Anarchist' nailed a hard right, and slammed Vansen's head off the ring apron. He rolled Vansen into the ring, and to a big cheer, picked up a steel chair and entered. As Vansen got up, Williams jabbed him in the ribs with it.....AND THEN WHAM! A HARD SHOT TO THE SPINE!! The crowd went wild, as Williams held the chair up. He dropped it, and vicously whipped Vansen to the ropes......AND NAILED A BELLY TO BELLY AS HE CAME BACK!! Williams covered....1.....2...KICK OUT! Williams got up, and he sent Vansen to the turnbuckle. He sat him up on the top rope, and began to climb.....but Vansen kicked him off. As he stumbled back, Vansen leapt off.....TOP ROPE FAME-ASSER.....ONTO THE CHAIR!! The crowd gave a massive 'FWA!' chant to that.

Vansen covered....1.....2....KICK OUT!! He couldnt believe it, and the crowd cheered for the 'Anarchist'. Vansen pulled Williams up, and whipped him to the ropes, and nailed a nice Powerslam as he came back. He then picked up the table, and he set it up by the turnbuckle. The crowd were on their feet, and he pulled Williams over.....SUPLEX.....NO! Williams lifted Vansen up for a suplex, dropped him onto his shoulder.....AND NAILED A SAMOAN DROP! That was awesome! GOD I LOVE DOUG WILLIAMS!! Williams covered....1.......2....KICK OUT!! Williams cant believe it, and he pulls Vansen up.....LOW BLOW!! The crowd booed, and the referee cant do anything about it. Vansen pulled Williams around the table to the turnbuckle, and slammed his head off it a few times. He then sat Williams on the top rope, and climbed up next to him. He goes for A TOP ROPE SOUTH CITY DRILLER.....BUT WILLIAMS NAILED A HEADBUTT! Vansen is dazed next to him on the top rope, and Williams leaps off with him.....REVOLUTION DDT.....THROUGH THE TABLE!!

The crowd went wild, and Williams covered....1......2....SOMEONE PULLED THE REF OUT OF THE RING! The crowd boo as a Security Guard enters the ring, and Williams turns......RIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT! The man rips off his hat.....and now obvious fake moustache.....ITS JOE LEGEND!! The crowd were going mad with boo's, and Legend picked the chair up, and levelled the Anarchist with it. Williams went down hard, and Legend hauled him up.....AND NAILED THE GODZILLA CHOKE BOMB!! The crowd are booing, and Legend leaves the ring, and the other security guards grab him and begin leading him up the aisle way. In the ring, the ref is back in, and Hade Vansen drapes a hand over Williams....1.....2.....3!! NO!! NO!! NO!! WILLIAMS HAS BEEN SCREWED AGAIN!! VANSEN HAS RETAINED!!

Winner and STILL FWA British Heavyweight Champion: Hade Vansen

(CR:51 MQ:79 OR:65)

Rob's Thoughts: DAMN IT! I felt for sure that BoD would put the belt on Williams. Ah well....great main event, and you just know that there will be hell to pay for Legend! Awesome main event, and a great table spot between the 2 men. Good end to a good feud.

As Vansen was helped to his feet, Callis's music hit, and the crowd cheered wildly. He came out and said once again, Hade Vansen had managed to secure his title belt. But he has secured something much better. A TV SHOW!! The crowd went nuts at that announcement. Callis said that on Wednesday 2nd May, at 10pm on the Wrestling Channel, FWA will present Rage....a one hour weekly dose of FWA! The crowd went wild, and Vansen held his title belt as Death Row finished.

(OR:72)

Rob's Thoughts: WEEKLY DOSE OF FWA!! AWESOME!! A HUGE step for the FWA< as they now have a tv show.....be interesting to see how its booked. Not much significance storyline wise, but a great way to end the show after the main event, with that announcement.

________________________________________

Overall Death Row Rating: 62

Rob's Thoughts: Well I thoroughly enjoyed this event. Had an awesome main event with a great ending, a title change, some great number one contenders matches, and ofcourse, the announcement of a TV Program. Not as solidly booked as Oblivion, but was still a great show, worth checking out. An 8 out of 10 from me.

FWA News: NEW TV Show, Alex Shane interview, Jay Lethal's Status

The biggest show in FWA history ended with a huge announcement. That the FWA would now have a weekly show, every wednesday night at 10pm on the Wrestling Channel. One hour a week would certainly give the FWA more exposure.

I managed to get a sit down interview for a few minutes with the 'Showstealer' Alex Shane, one of the biggest stars in FWA, and also a man who does plenty behind the scenes. Here is the short, but oh so sweet, interview:

So Alex, it must be exciting times at the FWA right now, especially with the new TV Show?

AS: It really is. It just shows how much we have grown since the beginning, and now the fans can see a weekly dose of the FWA. And it means I have alot more work to do. ha ha.

Thats right, because you work alot behind the scenes. Its no secret that the FWA doesnt havent truckloads of money, so how will this TV show work?

AS: Well right now, we are going to be going with an old school 'WWF' feel to it. Have a few matches, but to really see the big matches, you will have to attend the big shows. Our major guys like Doug[Williams], [Hade]Vansen, Jody[Fleisch], Jonny[storm].....they all have commitments with other companies that we have to respect. So you cant expect them to turn up for every filming session. So the main idea now is to have them in a few matches when they can work, have promo's etc for feud buildings, and repeat matches from the events that have been held recently. Also, it will give guys like Andy Simmoz, Stevie Lynn and that lot to get some air time in the FWA, as they will be the ones who will wrestle often on the show.

Thats understandable, because alot of British workers are garnering alot more exposure these days arent they?

AS: They are. I mean, Paul Burchill made it into the WWE for christs sake! But their loss, is our gain. But guys like Williams, Storm and I reckon sooner or later, Pac will be competing in the US and Japan.

Speaking of Burchill, you guys have had a few confrontations over the past months since he returned. AS: Any chance of the eagerly awaited Alex Shane vs Paul Burchill match?

Look.....if Burchill wants some, he can come get some. Right now, Im looking forward to ending Dom Travis's career!

Well Alex, thanks you for your time, and good luck at May-Day.

AS: Your welcome.....and you know that I dont need luck. Because at that show.....IM GONNA STEAL IT!

Also, Jay Lethal now has a profile on the FWA roster, which leads many to believe he has signed up for numerous appearences for the FWA. He has a FWA Flyweight Championship match with Pac at May-Day.

Anyways, thats all from me, and check back at www.frontierwrestling.co.uk for more information on the first ever FWA Rage show this week.

FWA Rage Tv Report: Wednesday 2nd May 07

Hello again fans, Robert Enright here. And I just finished watching the FIRST EVER FWA Rage on The Wrestling Channel. So lets get on with it shall we?

The show started, and Don Callis made his way to the ring. The crowd gave him a good reception, and he took the mic. He welcomed everyone to Rage, saying that this was the building block into making the FWA a real force in wrestling. He then said next week, we would get the first of a 2 part interview with Paul Burchill, that is exclusive to FWA Rage. And then announced that next week, right here on Rage, we will see Dom Travis take on Joe Legend in a No-DQ match, because Travis needed to be prepared for the Last Man Standing match. And Legend had Doug Williams on his case, so he better toughen up.

(OR:62)

Rob's Thoughts: Decent start to the show, Callis talking to the fans. Not sure about the whole 'force in wrestling' thing, but this defiantly gives FWA more exposure. And Legend vs Travis next week will rock!

Andy Simmonz vs Curve /w Ashe

These 2 men gave a nice little match for the fans, and Simmonz took it to Curve in the early goings on, and nailed a nice missile dropkick, but only got a 2 count. Curve came back into it, and nearly won it with a DDT. Simmonz floored CUrve with a powerslam, and went for the Simmonz Splash, but Ashe pushed him off the top. Curve went to the top rope, and nailed the Flying Body Press for the win.

(CR:31 MQ:64 OR:47)

Rob's Thoughts: Decent little match up. Good to see Simmonz back on FWA programming. This match did nothing more than keep Ashe and Curve fresh in our minds as a heel tag team.

An interview was then shown, from Death Row, immediatly after a worn out Fleisch had just won number one contendership. Ben Sowahon asked him if he was ready to take the title. Fleisch said it didnt matter it if was Williams or Vansen who had the belt, because no matter what, The Phoenix would rise once again, and he would walk out of May-Day as a THREE time FWA Heavyweight Champion.

(OR:63)

Rob's Thoughts: Good to see that they are going to use the TV Show to try and build up matches for May-Day. Flesich keeping it short and sweet as his mic skills arent amazing, but put his point across well. He has been kept strong during his battles with Knight and Legend, so he does seem like a real threat to Vansen at the moment.

Darren Burridge vs Stevie Lynn

'The Pukka One' and the 'Unbreakable' put on a good technical match for the fans, and started off with some chain wrestling. Lynn took control with a series of nice snap suplex's, but Burridge reversed a German Suplex into a Stunner. Burridge locked on a Camel Clutch, but Lynn got the ropes. As Lynn went for a Brainbuster, Burridge wriggled out, and rolled him up for the 3 count.

(CR:49 MQ:84 OR:66)

Rob's Thoughts: These 2 men havent been used much since BoD took over as head booker, so good to see them getting some air time. Nice match, went for a good 12 or so minutes, and Burridge got the win that will send the fans home happy.

After the match, an angered Lynn nailed a low blow on Burridge, and then locked him in a Sharpshooter. Burridge was tapping, but Lynn refused to let go, and road agents and backstage staff had to come out to pull him off. The crowd booed him, as Burridge layed in pain.

(OR:54)

Rob's Thoughts: Hmmmm.....could be the beginning of a feud perhaps? Great way to solidify Lynn as a dangerous heel, as we all know his technical ability. Burridge wont take this lying down, so this could lead to an entertaining feud.

Repeat

Alex Shane vs Dom Travis at FWA Death Row

The match from Death Row was shown, and it showed them rolling around punching each other, and then Alex Shane hammering Travis with the steel chair to get himself DQed. It then showed him hammering away at Travis again and again until Paul Burchill got in and Alex Shane stepped down. It then showed Dom Travis getting up, and challenging Alex Shane to a 'Last Man Standing' match at May-Day.

(CR:47 MQ:87 OR:67)

Rob's Thoughts: Nice way to end the show, with a repeat of well....not really a match, but definatly one of the most entertaining parts of Death Row.

Overall Rage Rating: 61

Rob's Thoughts: I liked it. I wasnt expecting all the top stars on the show, and we didnt get them. But the matches were nice to watch, as it showcased the lesser known FWA stars, and we got an interview with the number one contender. A good start, and it did have the 'Old WWF' feel to it. Cant wait for next week!

Not a bad first TV show. I'm struggling with the realism because both Shane & Lynn are retired, but I'll get over it. Would never have expected Lynn-Burchill to be as good as your stats made it, seems like a huge mismatch, but it's all good.

Andy Boy Simmonz as a babyface is a bit disorientating, but I look forward to seeing where you're going with it.

Besides that... all ths needs is a little Wildcat and a touch of Feelgood to be one of the best on the board. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a shoot. [/Alex Shane promo]

I've got to say man the diary is looking in pretty good shape, has a real feel of realism about it and i feel that your pulling things off pretty well. The Lethal/Pac feud could be very good and very interesting to see where and how you go about building it, Hansen/Williams has been done well so far and i hope Vansen keeps the title and retires Williams :shifty: .

You got yourself a reader, as you already know lol

FWA Rage TV Report: Wednesday 9th May 07

Hey, Robert Enright here, and just finished watching this weeks Rage, which had a NEW logo as you can see. Very swanky! Good show this week, so here ya go:

Andy Simmonz vs Ashe /w Curve

Rage started off just like last week, with Simmonz facing a member of the New Breed. He wanted revenge on Ashe, and took it to him with some hard rights and clotheslines. He nailed a vicous looking neckbreaker for a 2 count. Simmonz was on fire, and he went for the Butlerbuster.....but Curve ran in and nailed a Spear. The referee called for the DQ, and the New Breed double teamed Simmonz, nailing a Double Team Implant DDT.

(CR:30 MQ:65 OR:47)

Rob's Thoughts: Another good opener. This continues to make the New Breed look like a dangerous tag team. I dont know whether or not they are being lined up for a tag title shot, but its good to keep tag teams alive. So decent booking.

After that match, Darren Buddige came out. He called Lynn a bitch for cheap shotting him last week, and demanded he come out and fight him like a real man. Lynn obliged quickly, and as soon as he entered the ring, he and Burridge started trading rights. They fell to the floor and rolled around, throwing punch after punch at each other, and Lynn's eyebrow got busted open in the process. Road agents and officials raced out, and broke up the fight, much to the dismay of the crowd.

(OR:63)

Rob's Thoughts: Im liking this. Burridge is great, and Im glad to see him on FWA TV. And making Lynn this bad ass heel, who would rather fight than talk is great. Hopefully this leads somewhere.

Repeat

Stixx and Stone vs UK Pitbulls - FWA Tag Team Championship - Death Row

The tag title match was replayed, and it showed these 4 men taking it to each other in a hardcore tag match. It showed Stixx dropkicking a trash can into Bulk's face, and Stone nailing Big D with a steel chair. It then showed Stone spearing Bulk out of the ring. It then showed Lambert pepper spraying Stone, allowing Bulk to nail a Bulkishi Driver off the apron through a table, as Stixx nailed a DDT onto the trash can. Bulk got the pin, and he and Big D were named FWA Tag Team Champions!

(CR:27 MQ:77 OR:52)

Rob's Thoughts: Nice tag match. One of the best in FWA, and its nice to rewatch it. Good matches, and a great bump to end it. Well worth another watch.

After that, Stixx and Stone made their way out to the ring, to a good cheer. They called the UK Pitbulls out, saying that they want their rematch and they want it at May-Day. Lambert then came out, and said that his clients dont have to answer to them, or anybody. This then brought out Don Callis, who said that they all have to answer to HIM! And he said the match will take place at May-Day.....IN A TABLE ELIMINATION MATCH! The crowd popped wildly for the announcement, and Lambert looked stunned in the aisle way, as Stixx and Martin Stone smiled.

(OR:47)

Rob's Thoughts: Im really glad to see that BoD has tried to breath some life into a dying division. This feud is starting to really kick off, and that match at May-Day will be highly anticipated now.

The first part of the Paul Burchill interview aired. Burchill said that he loved growing up in the FWA, and was sad to leave in his opinion, too soon. He had so much to accomplish in england, he never even held an FWA title. But he said that in the OVW, he was having a great time, facing off against some of the best INDY talent in the world. And when the call up to Smackdown came he was thrilled. The next part of the interview, which is where Burchill talks about his WWE experiences, will air next week according to Dann Read. I WANNA HEAR IT NOW!

(OR:67)

Rob's Thoughts: This seemed really genuine. I dont think its scripted. I think it is a good way to keep Burchill on air while he cant compete, and that it makes him even more popular if he is honest. Nice interview, cant wait for the next part!

No-DQ

Dom Travis vs Joe Legend

This was the match we have been waiting for all evening, and these 2 men went at it straight away, with hard rights. Legend took advantage with a Samoan Drop, and went outside and brought in a chair. Travis nailed a massive leg lariat, and then Spinebuster onto the chair itself. He went for the Northern Lights Bomb, but Legend wriggled free and nailed the Blackout Legsweep for a 2 count. Legend went for the A.D.D. but Travis managed to get free, and nailed a massive Rock Bottom. As he called for the Northern Lights Bomb, Alex Shane stormed the ring, picked up the chair, and hammered Travis over the head with it. Its no DQ, so its legal I guess. Legend hauled Travis up, nailed the Godzilla Choke Bomb and got the pinfall. As Legend left, Shane re-entered and nailed Travis with the One Night Stand. He then yelled 'GET UP NOW YOU LITTLE BITCH! as he stood over the fallen body of Travis.

(CR:56 MQ:75 OR:65)

Rob's Thoughts: Solid main event. They went for 15 minutes, and it was a solid brawl, with some technical moves thrown in. Entertaining, and Alex Shane getting involved will really spice up the Travis/Shane feud. And Legend looked strong, so this was a good way to end the show.

__________________________________________

Overall Rage Rating: 58

Rob's Thoughts: Better than last weeks, and if the FWA keep it up, this could be the best show on TWC. Good solid hour of action, and it not only showcases the lesser known talents, it is helping to build feuds. Keep em rolling!

The logo is hilarious. Is it me or does Doug have a fantastic handle-bar moustache going?

Graphics-aside, the show was good. I'm glad that the focus is on the in-ring action rather than elsewhere. I know you have your non-wrestling bits, but they seem to be well done, and not a detriment to the product. The one problem I always had with FWA in real life was that their backstage vignettes and interviews were terrible. They killed the product dead, and much like shows such as LDN right now, British wrestling thrives more on the mat work than it does the mic skills, which for the most part are non-existant. The use of Burchill is good, since you need to keep him strong. I'd have probably resurrected the old videos of him killing people like FWA used to do, unless I've missed you do them, but the fans need to know that this guy was a WWE guy to get them interested, and you do that well with the interview.

My only real critique is having two gimmick matches on the same show. Unless the show had a special attraction label to it, which the opener suggests against, I think it seems like something you could have thrown out for another week, instead of overkilling it.

Otherwise, some good stuff. I'll definately read back to catch up on what I missed, and will keep my eye on future results.

I've got to be honest with you here: this diary really makes me want to watch the old FWA videos. Man I remember some of those bad vignettes and hell, Johnny Storm's were legendary.....legendarily bad...lol This show is pretty impressive. I'm loving the Travis/Shane work and I've always been a mark of Joe E legend. I'd love to see Burchill come back and do the whole arrogance personified thing with him. The man is definately a top talent that was badly utilised. I hope...I stress I hope that it isn't too long before we see the FWA strap on him. Glad to see your working well with the UK Pitbulls. I hope to see some more fantastic tag team wrestling action.

Keep up the good work

and remember

Tonight.....he talks about his time in the WWE. It will be very interesting to hear what Burchill has to say. In ring action also includes the 'Unbreakable' Stevie Lynn going one on one with the fan favourite, El Ligero.

FWA Rage TV Report: Wednesday 16th May 07

Hello fans. For those who havent tuned into Rage this week, just finished watching it. Here's the report:

Stevie Lynn vs El Ligero

Pretty much what you would expect from this one. Lynn showed no remorse, as he mercilessly beat on El Ligero from the off, nailing some vicous chops and then scored with a big German Suplex. El Ligero, to the fans delight, started to come back into it, but missed a Moonsault that would prove costly. Lynn nailed the Brainbuster and picked up the 3 count. As he had his arm raised in victory, Darren Burridge entered, and nailed the 'Unbreakable' with the Fuzzy Dice Driver. He yelled 'EYE FOR AN EYE!', and then left to a good cheer.

(CR:43 MQ:81 OR:62)

Rob's Thoughts: Decent opener. El Ligero did his job, and that was to make Lynn look dominant. Lynn is a great talent, should be used more often, and its nice to see an actual feud between him and Burridge building.

Don Callis then came to the aisle with a mic, and said to the fans that next week on FWA Rage......the FWA British Heavyweight Champion, Hade Vansen will be in the house. This got alot of heat, as noone likes Vansen. lol.

(OR:86)

Rob's Thoughts: I actually thought this was clever booking. The fans may hate him, but Vansen is becomming a big draw in FWA. And by hyping his appearence on the show makes it seem like a big deal. Makes him and the title belt seem very prestigous.

Repeat

Hade Vansen vs Doug Williams - FWA British Heavyweight Championship - Death Row

I loved this match, the No Holds Barred title bout from Death Row. It showed all the major highlights including Williams nailing a Belly to Belly over the ropes, and Vansen clocking Williams with the Ring Bell. Vansen then nailed his Top Rope Fame-Asser, and Williams also nailed the Revolution DDT off the top rope through a table. It then showed the Joe Legend screw job, as Legend, disguised as a security guard entered and layed out Williams, allowing Vansen to retain.

(CR:51 MQ:79 OR:65)

Rob's Thoughts: I thoroughly enjoyed this match up, probably the best between Vansen and Williams and was everything it was hyped up to be. Great screw job finish that no one saw coming, and the disapointment that Vansen didnt drop the belt still hurts to this day. I love the Doug!

The second part of the Burchill interview aired. He said that he couldnt believe how lucky he was when he got called up, but was gutted when his debut was on Velocity by attacking Scotty 2 Hotty. He said that he was never given exposure, and his first feud was against one of the biggest jobbers in the WWE which hurt. He then said that he was sceptical about the 'Pirate' idea, but started to enjoy it, especially as it proved popular. But the WWE cut it short, and he was gutted because they said they had nothing for him and released him. He said he didnt regret going to the WWE, but he is home now, and ready to claim his place atop the FWA.

(OR:71)

Rob's Thoughts: Really interesting watch. Genuine thoughts of Burchill, and he really does have a story to tell. Im so glad he is back in the FWA, but talking about his WWE experiences will gain more viewers as casual fans will want to know what 'The Pirate Guy' is up to nowadays.

Non-Title

Leroy Kincade vs Jonny Storm

This match was a great main event, and both men showed off their arsenal, with the bigger Kincade flying through the air like Storm with a nice top rope missile dropkick. Storm almost won it when he nailed a DDT off the middle rope. Storm went for the Rewind, but Kincade reversed it into a Powerbomb, but only got a 2 count. Storm raked the eyes, and nailed the Wonderwhirl. But once again.....like so many times.....Storm got over cocky, and decided to pin with one foot! Kincade kicked out, and Storm angrily cornered the ref to protest. This gave Kincade enough time to get up and nail the Back Cracker for a 3 count!

(CR:43 MQ:75 OR:59)

Rob's Thoughts: This was a good way to end the show. 2 of FWA's best wrestlers going at it, and again Storm's ego causing him another defeat. Kincade is looking strong heading into his match with Tighe aswell.

As Kincade collected his title belt, James Tighe slid in and nailed him from behind. They traded rights, and the crowd cheered as Kincade got the better of Tighe, and sent him over the top rope with a clothesline. Kincade stared Tighe down, and held the FWA All-England Title belt high as the show came to its close for this week.

(OR:45)

Rob's Thoughts: For the first time in the feud, apart from the first match, Kincade has got the better of Tighe. It makes this seem more even, and Tighe maybe scared of Kincade. Decent way to build up the rematch for May-Day.

_____________________________________

Overall Rage Rating: 62

Rob's Thoughts: Well another week gone, and another good show. Good main event, a nice announcement from Callis, a fantastic repeat match, and a beautiful segment with Burchill. For one hour, I think FWA is offering the best thing on The Wrestling Channel right now.

FWA Rage TV Report: Wednesday 23th May 07

Hello fans, Robert Enright here. The best damn British Wrestling Reporter out there. I like that.....might be a future nickname. Anyways, just finished watching the last Rage before FWA May-Day. On with the report:

Ricky Knight vs Martin Stone

These 2 men kicked Rage off with a nice brawl, as they traded rights right from the start. Knight took advantage with a massive Sidewalk Slam, but Stone managed to kick out. Martin Stone rallied back, and nearly got the 3 count with an X Factor. Stone continued to dominate, and after hurling Knight through the turnbuckle into the actual ring post, he called for the London Bridge. The crowd cheered, but suddenly Bulk and Big D slide in and clobber Stone from behind. The ref called for the bell, and Lambert pulled a table out from under the ring, as his clients hammer away at Stone. They set the table up, and hauled Stone up.....PAIR DROP THROUGH THE TABLE!! The crowd booed, as the Tag Champs held their title belts high, as Stone layed motionless amongst the wreckage.

(CR:32 MQ:66 OR:49)

Rob's Thoughts: As if this match needed anymore build up, this has really got the fans riled up to see this match. Thats the second time Stone has been put through the table, and a really exciting way to open the show.

A video aired of James Tighe walking along the docks of Portsmouth. He spoke about his upcoming match, this sunday, with Leroy Kincade. He said that he grew up on these streets, and how fitting it was that he would claim the FWA All-England Championship in his hometown. Leroy Kincade doesnt stand a chance, because James Tighe....IS WRESTLING PERSONIFIED! Tighe beat his chest after saying that, and walked off.

(OR:38)

Rob's Thoughts: Tighe isnt the strongest promo giver in the company, and it showed. But I like that they are putting some effort in here, and the new 'Wrestling Personified' gimmick could be good for someone with Tighe's ability.

Repeat

Jody Fleisch vs Stevie Knight vs Joe Legend - Number One Contenders Match - Death Row

A repeat of this match was shown, and it showed all the major highlights. It showed Knight nailing Legend with a baseball slide, and Fleisch nailing a Flipping Plancha almost immediatly. Then Fleisch nailing Knight with a DDT off the top rope. Then Knight nailing a Double Missile Dropkick to both men. It then showed Knight dropkicking Legend from the ring, and turning into a Phoenix 720 DDT by Fleisch, to pick up the win.

(CR:58 MQ:74 OR:66)

Rob's Thoughts: A good match. Not one of the best, but it did its job of making Fleisch earn his title shot. Loved the top rope DDT. Was a great spot.

Joe Legend made his way to the ring, and the fans booed like crazy. He got on the mic, and said he did what he did to prove that he is the most dangerous man in the FWA. That no one, not even the beloved Doug Williams was safe. And even if Callis put security around a match, it still couldnt stop him. But he then made it abundantly clear, that he WOULD NOT face Doug Williams at May-Day.

Don Callis made his way out, and said thats fine with him. Because there is one other man who wants a piece of Legend before Williams tears him apart. The crowd cheered, as Stevie Knight hopped the fan barrier and entered, and after nailing a few rights, he sent Legend over the ropes with a clothesline. They stared down, as Callis smiled.

(OR:77)

Rob's Thoughts: Im loving Legend right now. Probably the best thing the FWA has going right now, he is becomming so hateable. And its good to see they havent dropped the Legend/Knight feud just yet.

Andy Simmonz & Pac vs New Breed

For a few weeks now, Simmonz has been on the wrong end of some 2 on 1 beatings by the New Breed. But this week, he dominated the match with the help of his tag partner, and FWA Flyweight Champion, Pac. They never really gave New Breed a shot, and Pac picked up the pin fall for his team when he nailed the 630 Splash on Curve, after Simmonz had given Curve the Butlerbuster. Pac held his title up to a big cheer.

(CR:39 MQ:83 OR:61)

Rob's Thoughts: Although Pac had nothing to do with this rivalry, I was glad he won. Makes him seem strong, and will be heading into his match with Lethal with some momentum.

Hade Vansen came to the ring with his FWA British Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He said that the FWA was his house, and that Rage was HIS show. And that he is fast becomming the most dominant FWA Champion in recent history, and that at May-Day, Fleisch would be just another name on the list.

This caused Fleisch to take to the ring, and he told Vansen that he better kiss that title belt goodbye, because the 'Phoenix' was ready to rise again. The 2 stared down and started trash talking, Vansen then slapped Fleisch. Fleisch responded how the crowd wanted.....he took Vansen down and a brawl broke out between the 2 men as Rage came to an end.

(OR:66)

Rob's Thoughts:Great way to end the show. The last thing before FWA May-Day is the planned main event exploding. Now there is some heat between the 2, which will make it a better match up for the fans to get into. Vansen is fast becomming a great heel champion.

_______________________________________________

Overall Rage Rating: 60

Rob's Thoughts: Great way to finish hyping May-Day. Having Vansen and Fleisch go face to face, and then brawl was great entertainment and I cant wait for that match. Solid show, with Legend and the UK Pitbulls making an appearence, aswell as Pac. Cant wait for May-Day!

FWA May-Day Preview

Sunday 27th May 07

Last Man Standing!

Back at New Beginnings, Dom Travis pinned Alex Shane in under one minute, to pick up the biggest win of his FWA career. What he and probably no one realised, that it would build to quite possibly the biggest match the FWA has seen this year. Alex Shane and Dom Travis have been at each other throats, with Travis not backing down last month at Death Row, as Shane hammered him with a chair. With Burchill in his corner, Travis has become one of the toughest stars on the FWA roster. but will he be the Last Man Standing?

Vansen vs Fleisch - FWA British Heavyweight Championship

Hade Vansen has proved over the last 4 months that he may not be the most 'fighting' champion, but he is certainly one of the smartest we have had in the FWA. He has used every trick in the book, and the aid of a masked man time and time again to defeat Williams 3.....thats 3 times, and also beat Sean O'Haire to retain. But now he faces Jody Fleisch, a former 2 time champion, and a man with a worldwide reputation. Vansen may be sneaky, but will he be able to beat 'The Phoenix'?

Pac vs Lethal - The Rematch

At Oblivion, Jay Lethal was invited by Don Callis to face Pac for the FWA Flyweight Championship. Just as Lethal looked set to dethrone Pac, Jonny Storm, who lost to Pac at Whole 9 Yards, prevented Lethal from winning the belt. He claimed that he should have the title shot. Storm and Lethal squared off for contendership, and Pac was the ref, counted the pinfall and Lethal won his shot. Now, Lethal and Pac are set to steal the show once again, in the highly awaited rematch.

Tighe and Kincade finally meet!

Its been brewing. Ever since Whole 9 Yards back in february, when Kincade retained the belt but Tighe attacked and stole it, the fans have been wiating to see this. And now they will. At Death Row, they signed the contract, and Tighe even nailed Kincade with his own title belt then. Hell.....when Kincade competed on Rage, Tighe invaded and tried to attack the champ, but came up short. 2 of FWA's brightest stars, fighting over the FWA All-England Championship. Dont miss this!

Tag Team Table Match

When Greg Lambert took over the managerial reigns of the UK Pitbulls, they suddenly acquired a new drive, assaulting the FWA Tag Team Champions, Stixx and Stone during an interview. Since then, they have been at each others throats ever since, and last month at Death Row, the UK Pitbulls captured the belts in a hardcore match, when Bulk nailed the Bulkishi Driver through the table. Stixx and Stone wanted their rematch, and challenged the UK Pitbulls on Rage to a tables match, which Lambert accepted. And this past week on Rage, the Uk Pitbulls sent Stone through a table to send a clear message. This one wont be for the feint hearted.

Also Scheduled

The feud that has been building on Rage will continue at May-Day, as 'The Pukka One' Darren Burridge will face 'Unbreakable' Stevie Lynn, and the ongoing feud between Joe Legend and Stevie Knight will come to a head, as they face off.

Fans, its coming to you from the Fratton Community Center, Portsmouth on Sunday 27th of May. Its FWA May-Day.....and this is a Distress Call!

Confirmed Matches:

Darren Burridge vs Stevie Lynn
