After getting bored and looking it up, this could potentially be the first time United haven't qualified for Europe in some manner since 88-89. Spurs just need 7 points from their last three games.

So if Arsenal win the FA Cup then Hull take the League Cup (a.k.a 6th place) 3rd qualifying spot for Europa. 6th place (probably Tottenham) get nudged up to the Play-off round and 5th place gets straight into the group stage.


Weeeell I guess Arsenal glory at least could get Spurs a longer summer.

I think regardless of whether or not Moyes goes, it's going to be a long time until Utd challenge for titles.

I still think his biggest mistake was getting rid of all the back room staff. That was just baffling.

I think the point is Mike and Rene oversaw training and knew specifically what worked and what didn't.
