  1. I've been enjoying it, though I felt the second season wasn't as strong as the debut, just felt a bit lazy in the writing, a lot 'convenient scenarios' (maybe thats a supernatrual part?), especially the final episode. I'm intrigued to see where they go with the next season!
  2. Really? I lived in the US for 5 years as a teacher, never once saw a anyone in a city shirt, the kids consantly wear PSG, Real, Barca, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc.
  3. I recently had a career game going when I chose a random league and team, I ended up with Central Coast Mariners. I signed Morgan Rogers for cheap from City as an LW and he did the job. I left the job eventually to go to Norway and then to Ajax. Spent a few years at Ajax rebuilding it into a European powerhouse of youth players, and went to look in on Rogers, he was now a 95 rating and worth 200m.... and still at Central Coast Mariners.
  4. I know it's a different code but it's the only rugby post we have, I've just spent the last 8 days in Australia going to 4 NRL games to tick off a childhood bucket list item. I was spoilt for quality with games, but the highlight was probably Parramatta Vs Penrith, a repeat of last year's grand final. Parramatta is still looking for their first win of the season, Penrith with some absolute quality (including a 45-metre drop goal) and it was a fantastic game for the neutral like me.
  5. Apparently GCW have filed an opposition to the 'Fight Forever' trademark now.
  6. It's a joke, 62% of teams can now qualify, and they have to play Best-of-3 games in Round 1? It's just desperate.
  7. The best part of the two Atlanta goals is it's all down to the Quakes, who in the 2nd half decided they were all made of glass and went down every 20 seconds to try and kill the momentum, so built up a huge injury time clock.
  8. Atlanta left is late but got the win. Impressive 67,000 in attendance too, glad they're still hitting big numbers.
  9. A few come to mind, Super Mario Bros 3 (I never got games on release day, I grew up on a poor council estate in Liverpool, but my mum and my cousin's mum put money together to get us a copy in the same week it was released. I remember both of us sprinting home from primary school to see that bright yellow box sitting there. The rest is just a blur.) Metal Gear Solid (the cinematic intro was so cool at the time) Red Dead Redemption 2 (just for the emotional journey) Final Fantasy VIII (I missed the boat on VII, VIII was my first play-through of an FF game on my own) Gran Turismo 2 (I loved how I could buy regular cars that I'd seen in person, customise them and make them faster. I wish someone would do this again but I'm sure licensing rights would be a pain.) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (My first point-and-click adventure game)
  10. Season: A Letter To The Future had been on my list for a long time, and I remember them going through the sexual harassment stuff. I picked it up last night and having only played 45 minutes, it's stunning so far, like taking a slow walk on a lovely day.
  11. Trombone Champ. Absolute absurd chaos. I loved it.
  12. Speaking of Rian Johnson and murder crime mystery stuff, his new show looks pretty good:
  13. I forget how. much I grew up on the classics, Columbo, Murder She Wrote, Quincy ME, Ironside, Diagnosis: Murder, Midsummer Murders. I loved when Knives Out came out, felt like it'd been so long since a solid 'Whodunit?' had been released. Glass Onion was fantastic too. Loved the nods to Clue, Gosford Park and Agatha Christie.
  14. I had 2018 of that I think, and I agree, it was a bit too finicky for me. PowerWash Simulator is pretty nice and straight forward.
