  1. I can't get anything off the site at all. Firefox just blocks all the downloads. It doesn't seem to be my malware software either. I tried disabling that too. I also tried to download the files using Chrome and got the same issue. I get the warning that the site is a suspected "Malware Site" and when I go to download stuff, it just ignores the download. A couple of times, I've been able to download files when the malware warning didn't pop up, (the EWR pictures files) but the pictures files wouldn't even download. I got left with a PART file for the pictures and it wouldn't even download the graphics files. So it doesn't download those and it gives me the Google malware warning screen for all the EWR yearly updates and won't let me go past it. .
  2. I LOVE Kaiju Big Battel !!! Don't expect to see great wrestling there, but DO expect entertainment in droves ! I question adding it to the database. You never really see the "monsters" actually wrestling outside of the promotion unless it's a "Kaiju Big Battel Showcase" kind of thing which is just pretty much an advertisement match for their promotion. I'm not saying they aren't a lot of fun or entertaining, but I wouldn't consider it the same species as a wrestling promotion. Seriously. How much wrestling and amazing wrestling moves can you expect from guys in big, clunky, rubber suits. There's not much logic to this as they both have a LOT of similarities. It's just a gut feeling I have.
  3. Change Zack Statik's name to Zachary Pierre Beaulieu. Every promotion I've seen him fight in since last December, he's been wrestling as a heel under that name and using a "French Canadian Anti-America" gimmick. Ron Zombie is also going to be out of action at least for the rest of this year. He severely injured his leg in a ladder match with Brian Anthony earlier this year and just had surgery on it last week. Doctors have told him that it's going to be at least a year before he can get back in the ring again, but Zombie wants to be back before then. For now, he's still showing up at all the indy shows, but he's certainly not wrestling and needs crutches to move around. I don't know if you want to strike him from the database or if there's a way to make him a non-wrestler for the time being, or if you just want to keep him in shape to fight just for the fun of it.
  4. No. You can't. BUT... for future reference, what you CAN do, is create a blank database for storeing your new gimmicks. Every time you create one that you like, make a note of it and add it to that blank database. THEN, you can import your new gimmicks over to other databases easily in the database editor. I actually started doing this because I encountered a similar issue where I started coming up with great gimmicks in a game.
  5. This is fantastic ! I can't wait to see it once it's done !
  6. Set Ron Zombie to "Never Wrestles for the time being. He REALLY destroyed his leg and completely tore his ACL in a ladder match on March 23. He's going into surgery to have it replaced soon so he's going to be out of the ring for a long time. That's a tough thing to recover from. It may be more than a year before we see him fight again. He DOES still make appearances on crutches (I've talked to him at a couple of shows since the accident.) Source: Ron's Facebook page. Look around the March 23 and later posts. http://www.facebook.com/RonZombie34 Warning. The picture of his leg looks scary.

  8. I have just finished the beta version of a database for my favorite local wrestling promotion, Connecticut Wrestling Entertainment (CTWE). It runs it's shows at the Town Hall in Bethany, Connecticut. This database is VERY beta at the moment so some information or stats may be mildly incorrect or blatantly wrong. Since most of these guys were locals, there just wasn't a lot of information about them and it took me forever just to dig up and guesstimate what I have. Anyway, I would welcome anyone who wants to look at it to feel free and contact me about issues/corrections/adjustments/suggestions, etc... with anything that needs it. I never miss a CTWE show so this database is constantly going to be updated with every show. It includes a the data, a pic pack, and a logo. Please be sure to look at the READ ME file as well. MediaFire Download for CTWE Database Betav1 for TEW2005
  9. Is the belts and logos pack the same as last month's ? I'm having a heck of a time downloading it. It took several tries today for me to even be able to get the data pack and I just can't seem to get the belts and logos pack at all.
  10. I have another project that I've been working on too that I'm in "Playtest Mode" for. It took forever, but I made a database for my favorite local promotion, "Connecticut Wrestling Entertainment" with the additions of some other local wrestlers who I really like and see all the time here. It's designed to be easily importable into any other database but you still have to copy the stuff that TEW2005 won't import by hand. I'm trying to figure out why the promotion fires almost all of it's wrestlers when the computer controls it though. There's probably nothing I can do about it. There's still some tweaks that need to be done on it. I'll be uploading that when I feel it's ready and have the people here double check my data to get it as accurate as possible (Most of these stats are serious guestimation using the stats for like two or three wrestlers from The Who's real world database as measuring sticks).
  11. My "Beginning of the World" scenario is going to basically have all wrestlers with popularity set to 0 and all the promotions are going to be pretty much just starting out. I havn't really decided exactly what I'm going to do with it yet. When I finish it, I'm going to have to give it some play testing to see how it plays (and watch how the computer plays it.) My goal is for it to have good variation and be fun and challenging to play. I'm not really sure as to what level I'm going to start each promotion yet, but it's going to be like a "All wrestlers have 0 popularity and all promotions are either small or backyard.. I want it to be as if the industry just started from scratch. I may even remove most promotions and just start with a small sprinkling of them and put all the promotions into the "New Promotions" section of the database so the computer can create them on the fly to simulate more promotions coming into being as the industry starts.
  12. As I said in the other thread about this, I'm making a version of a "Beginning of the World" scenario for TEW2005. So far, I've removed all the popularity scores for all workers A-D. It's going to be a while. It's slow going and my fingers get REALLY SORE from all the mouse clicking. I'm basing it on The Who's TEW2005 October update data. I'll upload it to Rapidshare or MegaUpload when it's finished. Question: For all the promotions, about how much cash do you think I should start them off with ? Should I start them all out with the same amount of cash? I would imagine that they would start out with a much smaller amount of cash considering that this is the "Beginning of the World".
  13. Request: Anthony Battle, Vladimir Joseph (Vicious V), Joey Bricco, J-Busta, Ken Skampi.
