  1. Milan execs flying out to Brugges today to try and get a deal done for CDK. Not sure the answer of 37 million or fuck off will sound different in person to over the phone but at least we should soon know whether CDK is the greatest prospect in world football or a shit cunt that we didn't want anyway
  2. Looking likely that a 49ers takeover is imminent; been widely reported that they've got a deal where they can buy us before the end of next year for a fixed amount, rumours have been quietly picking up all year that they're ready to make a move and there's talk that club staff have all been asked to sign NDAs.
  3. Leeds. Couldn't really give a fuck about anyone else. I guess England if there's a world cup or euros on but even then I'm generally over the inevitable knock out by the next morning. Good banter in the pub though. England cricket maybe but nowadays that's just a passing interest and a hope that we beat the Aussies once every couple of years. Team Europe in the Ryder Cup and Team GB in the Olympics? I'm kinda pushing it now.
  4. Absolutely horrible business selling our two best players for less than £100m but hopefully our buys make up for it. Whatever, at least it's fucking over with. Move on, sign a striker and put Harrison, Meslier, Geldhart and Struijk on five year contracts so we don't get our arse bitten again
  5. Conflicting rumours circulating that Raph to Barca is a done deal and also we're refusing to accept their formal offer. Honestly just get it done now, getting sick of these potless chancers disrupting our pre-season. Either accept what they've offered or tell them to go forth and multiply and Raph has the choice of staying or joining Chelsea.
  6. Probably not but I don't think it's out of the question. Very similar to the Raphinha situation really, we have an offer on the table that's accepted, he wants Milan but will probably join us if Milan don't pay up as opposed to staying at Brugge. If Milan meet the asking price though, he goes there 100%
  7. I reckon as long as we get enough up front to cover De Ketelaear (or a similarly priced alternative) we'll take it. Assuming we had somewhere in the region of 70m to spend before player sales as rumoured and assuming we owe around 5m for Firpo, that'd mean we probably need around 25-30m up front, which sounds plausible. 30m up front and 2x10m installments.
  8. 5 years ago I'd have laughed if you'd told me that the remainder of our transfer business depended on Barcelona and AC Milan fucking about over a couple of million. Apparently we've got a verbal agreement with Barcelona for Raphinha, 55 million (presumably less the balance of Firpo) in 3 installments plus 8 million in realistic add ons. Although knowing those chancer cunts, the official offer will end up being less and we're back to square one. Hopefully it gets resolved quickly and we can wang another couple of million on the De Ketelaear fee so Milan definitely can't afford him, sign a veteran keeper as backup and we can call it a day.
  9. Far too Spurs-centric this thread, @Lineker sort it out
  10. Silly cunt doesn't even know what his own stupid catchphrase means "here we go" "deal almost done", which is it?
  11. To be fair to the lad, there isn't much I wouldn't do for just shy of 200 grand a week, we're never going to be able to offer that money in his playing career
  12. Have Derby been fucked off to the East Midlands second division yet? 😏
  13. Why do Wimbledon get their own thread? I don't think anyone here even supports them
  14. Surely they have to show proof of funding before the end of the day with fixtures coming out tomorrow? Still, thanks for taking the Gypsy curse and we'll always have our memories.
  15. There's scum and there's other teams who are scummy and can be referred to as being scum such as the scum 6, which includes scum. But scum are scum. Hope that clarifies 👍
  16. Romano knows fuck all, the other day he was reporting that Barca were hoping we'd lower our £47m demand. If one of the scum six want to pay our actual £70m+ demand then fine but I don't think Raphinha's interested in going anywhere but Barcelona and they're probably not stumping up the cash. I imagine most of the other interest is just Deco whoring him out to try and pressure Barca into coming to the table with a decent offer. At this point I think KP is more likely to leave this summer and from our point of view that makes more sense, both have 2 years left, KP's stock is about as high as it's going to get in that time, Raphinha could potentially be a key player as Brazil win the world cup. 17. ? I've no idea who he is but Bayern fans' main criticism is just "he's not as good as Kimmich". 10m for not as good as Kimmich doesn't sound bad at all.
  18. And here's to you Jude Bellingham, Jesus loves you more than you know. Kinda works.
  19. Our games against the big teams are spread out which makes a nice change, since coming back we've had about 4 spells where play 3 of the top 6 in the space of 3-4 games
  20. So "stop being shit and you might get your place back"? Hardly controversial... Not sure why the same didn't apply to slabhead though, we must have other centre halfs?
  21. I don't see Richarlison as a top level starting player personally. Then again i don't really watch other teams that often so I've probably only ever seen him half a dozen times, maybe he's better than he's seemed on those occasions.
  22. Sure... Except the major problem with that is that even if Derby are allowed to play in the football league next season, they'll be closer to a league two midtable finish than a championship one
  23. If they had their own ground and players, I wouldn't disagree... But I can't see Ashley buying the ground back, I can't see him buying a squad capable of getting out of league one and I certainly can't see him paying the debts off in full so they don't start on -15. And given they don't own the stadium, what's he going to use to promote Sports Direct? Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see what Ashley gets out of this. I'm struggling to see what anyone gets out of this but particularly someone like Ashley who will want to put in minimal investment
