Has anyone played Suzerain? That and its DLC are the only game I’ve played at any real length this year. So much fun and (unlike far too many other games) doesn’t take a huge amount of time or effort off you but still has plenty of different paths to go down.

I LOVE Suzerain. Such a well-done little game. You've reminded me that I bought the DLC but have yet to play!

Completed Far Cry 5 after finishing Mortal Kombat (didn't get the DLC because if the cost but may in the future)

Felt Far Cry was good, you know what you're going to get but it did become a bit repetitive.

Decided to start Judgement given my love for the Yakuza series just need to get back into the swing of the mechanics!

I also finally got round to Far Cry 5 this week. It's good, I think, but I can't tell to what extent I'm actually enjoying it. I felt the same way about Far Cry 4. I do love the setting though.

Do you get Sky Sports Mix through Now TV? I'd imagine that will be the channel that will carry the free matches, along with the main Sky Sports PL one.

I read yesterday it would be on Pick. That's a Freeview channel, isn't it?

  4. Saw TROS last night, and I actually really enjoyed it. A flawed film in many ways, but a fun one. I enjoyed parts of TLJ, but after rewatching it this week, I liked it a bit less. It's not as effective a deconstruction as I remember, and by the end degenerates into essentially a remake of Empire Strikes Back.

    Anyway, hopelessly arbitrary rankings ahoy:

    1. Empire Strikes Back

    2. A New Hope

    3. Rogue One

    4. The Force Awakens

    5. The Rise of Skywalker (although I'm sure this will drop as it fades from memory)

    6. Return of the Jedi

    7. The Last Jedi

    8. Revenge of the Sith

    9. Solo

    10. The Phantom Menace

    11. Attack of the Clones

Going through my Humble library and I realised that I have a lot of keys that haven't been redeemed. I have the keys to the following games up for grabs if anyone wants them (I either already have them or aren't interested):-

    Chasm
    Fluffy Horde
    Regular Human Basketball
    Soulcalibur VI
    Sword Legacy Omen
    Tannenberg
    Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Collector's Edition
Megal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain + Definitive Experience DLC + Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
    Project CARS 2
Sniper Elite + Sniper Elite V2 + Sniper Elite 3
    Hearts of Iron IV
    Stellaris
    Total War: WARHAMMER
    XCOM 2

First come, first serve, one game each! Don't want anything in return 'tis the season after all.

Stellaris would be brilliant if it's still available!

  6. Been working my way through the Uncharted series over the last few weeks (I only ever played the first two), and started part 4 yesterday. I am totally hooked; such an absorbing game, and a real step up from the previous entries. Now I don't want it to be over ☹️

The first hour of God of War is amazing, then it sort of just grinds to a halt until after Alfheim. When it does pick back up, it's phenomenal until the finish. I'd keep on going if you've not reached that bit yet.

Basically if you've not met Mimir yet, keep going.

I have not - will try to power through.

  8. So I've played 4-5 hours of God of War, and I just can't get in. Am I doing something wrong? Does it get better?

I'm basically at the point where the world opens up, and have played some of the first location, but it just isn't doing it for me.

I'm worried RDR2 has ruined games for me.
