  1. Empire, no question. Second is probably Jedi, because it was always my favourite when I was younger. Jabba, the Ewoks and the space battle. But Empire, despite being the one I least liked when I first saw them, is just a fantastic movie. The lightstabre duel between Vader and Luke, everything in Cloud City, Boba Fett (the series' coolest character by the way), it just is a neat little package. I watched it last week and it's still a great movie, even when you know the twist.
  2. So near the end when Nute Gunray thinks he has the Queen, and another one turns up with the make-up and all, is that one the fake and the one captured the real one? Sorry if that was confusing.
  3. I bought five at once: Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde Led Zeppelin - II Led Zeppelin - III The Who - The Kids are Alright Whitesnake - Ready and Willin' All good-great, especially the Dylan album, which is now one of 10 favourites. I thought collectively they were worth £35
  4. Could someone explain to me about Padme and Queen Amidala? Are they different people? Are they the same? I just found it really confusing. In Episode I, Padme's a handmaiden, but in Episode II she's the former queen. I feel dumb Any help is appreciated.

    Song War

I will, for the same reasons as YI.
  6. I'm a big fan of Pete and Geoff on Virgin, but they're a distant second by Jonathan Ross on Radio 2. I'm not going to say it's always funny, but when it is, it cracks me up. For the perfect example, look up his rant on the Channel 5 schedule on his show's site .
  7. All must download Colonization. NOW. It's unbelievably addictive.
  8. The forums at Simply Scripts have a tutorial, iirc. The guys there are also great for advice and tips.
  9. Oasis Coldplay Foo Fighters Audioslave NIN But most importantly...AC/DC .

    Thoughts on...

AC/DC - My all-time favourites. As was said before, they don't do a lot, but they do it well. Slayer - Meh. Metallica - Haven't heard much apart from the black album, and enjoyed it. Megadeth - Can listen to them for about 15 minutes before they start to bore me. Pantera - Underrated. Iron Maiden - One of the all-time greats. Very few songs I don't like. Def Leppard - A lot of their songs sound the same, but Hysteria is a great album. Led Zeppelin - Another favourite. Could do everything, from hard rock (Communication Breakdown) to easy listening (Tangerine) The Beatles - Not all they're hyped up to be, but their place in music is undeniable. The Who - Not a huge fan, but My Generation is among my Top 100 tracks. Elvis Presley - Like The Beatles, overrated, but still a lot better than most. Limp Bizkit - Aside from My Way and Build a Bridge, I hate everything by them. Linkin Park - About half of Meteora is good, the rest is meh Korn - Went off them after hearing Another Brick in the Wall. They ruined a classic. Meat Loaf - Not fantastic, but Bat Out of Hell is a great album. Chemichal Brothers - Meh Van Halen - Very flamboyant, and also great fun to listen to. REM - One of my favourites to listen to while I'm feeling depressed. Nirvana - IMO, the most overrated band imaginable. Painfully average, and I don't see what makes them stand out. RHCP - Not really bothered either way, but I have a few albums. Soundgarden - Only heard Black Hole Sun (I think that's by them) and enjoyed it Alice In Chains - Not bad by any standards. Pearl Jam - Like Megadeth, I can take them in small doses. Audioslave - An enjoyable band. Guns And Roses - I loved Use Your Illusion I & II, and the greatest hits ain't bad. Velvet Revolver - Contraband is a great album. Muse - Only heard Absolution and Feeling Good, but all good. Ash - Not bad. The Killers - One of my favourite bands of the moment. All These Things... is a great track. Marilyn Manson - Pain in the ass, who murdered Personal Jesus. Faith No More - Good band. My favourite track is From Out of Nowhere. U2 - While not superb, a lot of their tracks are very enjoyable. Libertines - Can't Stand Me Now wears on me, but The Man Who Would... is great. The Smiths - Pretty good. 7/10 The Streets - I have no time for rap. Same goes for all the other rappers here. Morrissey - Every bit as good as he was in the Smiths, imo. Snoop Dogg Eminem Ja Rule Jay-Z Tupac Eric Clapton - A legend, but I'm personally not a fan. Tears from Heaven is good. Norah Jones - Very good easy listening music. Bob Dylan - An absolute legend, and one of the greatest lyricists of the century. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah is a beautiful song. Tom Waits - He's not bad. Depche Mode - Not the type of music I normally like, but I do like DP. Coldplay - A bit overrated, but good stadium rock (I think that's the term) Keane - Have the album, and while not as good as it's supposed to be, still 8/10. HIM - Have no time for them. Irritating music, to say the least. Slipknot - Arseholes who write shit music. The Clash - My favourite punk band of all-time. The Sex Pistols - My second favourite punk band of all-time. Green Day - What I've heard has been generally very good. EDIT: My post count is the same as my member no.!
  11. After seeing the TV spots and trailer, I'm interested in this movie. Is it worth seeing? I don't want to waste my money . But more importantly, what's the song used in all the trailers etc.? I can't get it out of my head, and it's driving me insane!
  12. Of the moment; 10. Queen 9. Ozzy Osbourne 8. The Music 7. The Killers 6. The Beatles 5. Led Zeppelin 4. The Zutons 3. Keane 2. Oasis 1. AC/DC Ask me again next week and it'll probably be completely different (aside from AC/DC; they're not budging ).
  13. I'm really looking to get into D&D. Is there anywhere online with a decent rulebook or the like? Can't find them at all. Help is much appreciated.
  14. Time for a loooooooooong list. As I look to expand my CD collection, I've got a list of 50 bands here, and any help with finding their best albums would be great. Try to avoid Greatest Hits if you can. But other than that, go nuts in the name of Ali. Or in the name of you, whatever . In alphabetical order, the bands are: Aerosmith Alice Cooper Black Sabbath Bob Dylan Bon Jovi Boston Chuck Berry Deep Purple Def Leppard Depeche Mode Duran Duran Eric Clapton Fleetwood Mac Grand Funk Railroad Iron Maiden Jimi Hendrix Johnny Cash Judas Priest Kiss Led Zeppelin Marillion Metallica Motley Crue Motorhead Muse Nirvana Oasis Ozzy Osbourne Pearl Jam Pink Floyd Queen Red Hot Chili Peppers REM Skid Row Slade Status Quo Stereophonics The Beatles The Clash The Cure The Doors The Eagles The Kinks The Rolling Stones The Smiths The Who Thin Lizzy U2 Van Halen White Stripes Thanks in advance, Big Ali
  15. Hitman level on the shotgun allows you to move and shoot at the same time. Yep, that's it. What a letdown .
  16. Ordered it off Amazon at the start of the month. They dispatched it yesterday, but the fucking Royal Mail hasn't delivered it today. Bastards.
  17. Lei wasn't in Tekken 1, iirc. On the screenshot with the figure in the flames, it HAS to be Heihachi. The figure even has the same dress sense. He'll be the final boss, imo. By the way, who do you think is in control of the Zaibatsu? I don't think it's Jin or Kazuya, so my money is on either Lee or Yoshimitsu, most likely Lee.
