How Do I Get Into X?

Van Morrison, beyond Astral Weeks. I seriously have no idea where to jump on. The guy's got dozens of albums.
  2. 1. 2. Tom Jones (Worth it for the dancing alone) 3. John Fogerty 4. Joe Cocker 5. Bon Scott 6. Bob Dylan (I know he's objectively awful, but I love the emotion in his voice) 7. 8. Bruce Springsteen 9. Van Morrison 10.
  3. I'd be inclined to think the opposite; I'd rather have one game with a shitload of songs. I mainly play Rock Band with a group of mates, and we don't all have the same tastes, so some diversity makes things more interesting all round.
  4. Finally some DLC I can get excited about.

    Incoming: 2011 Edition

I haven't heard anything about this. What is it?
  6. Apologies if this has been done before, but I thought it would be useful to have a thread where members can ask for good jumping-on points for getting into new artists/genres etc. Hopefully, that's not stupidly vague. Anyway, I'll kick off with Elvis Costello. Someone recommend an album or two to start with.

    Best Pixar film

I think I'll go with Up. Still cry every time Beyond that, I'd want to say Toy Story 3, since it's the movie that affected me most out of the series. The original is a very close third though.
  9. 1. Martin Sheen 2. Al Pacino 3. John Cusack 4. Robert de Niro 5. Tom Hanks 6. James Stewart 7. Alan Rickman 8. Robin Williams 9. Harvey Keitel 10. Pierce Brosnan
  10. I'm bored, so it's time for EPIC FM UPDATE! I started a game as Notts County, currently in November 2017. My league positions have been as follows: 2009/10: 4th in League Two, won the play-offs 2010/11: 3rd in League One, won the play-offs 2011/12: 5th in Championship, won the play-offs (I am indeed the play-off master >_>) 2012/13: 8th in Premier League 2013/14: 9th in Premier League 2014/15: 10th in Premier League 2015/16: 9th in Premier League 2016/17: 10th in Premier League In addition, I've won two FA Cups, two Carling Cups, and the Europa League And now, the big one: transfers. Obviously I've had plenty of money every season, so I've been willing to pay over the odds for some people. My tactics through the years have varied from 4-4-2 to 5-4-1 to 3-1-4-2 (most of my squad was injured that season, and my squad players all did really well). Currently we play 4-4-2, and this is my squad: Guillermo Ochoa Kasper Schmeichel Kolo Toure Jack Cork Simon Kjaer Darnel Situ Rafinha Filipe Juan Manuel Vargas Kwadwo Asamoah Lorik Cana Steven Defour Fabian Delph Mats Rits James Milner Zoran Tosic Daniel Sturridge Abel Hernandez Robert Acquafresca Emmanuel Adebayor Tosic is out with a torn calf for quite a while, so my normal 4-5-1 line-up is: Ochoa Rafinha Situ Kjaer Filipe Defour Asamoah Delph Sturridge Milner Hernandez So...yeah >_>
  11. I had the same problem with The Sopranos, but I'm now near the end of Season 3, and it's fucking awesome. Currently second in my favourite TV shows list, behind The West Wing.
  12. It's Scott Steiner with the lead pipe!

    1. TKz

      TKz

First, Northern Ireland. Then: The World.

  13. 1. AC/DC 2. Bob Dylan 3. Frank Turner 4. The Answer 5. Tom Jones (>_>) 6. The Beatles 7. Ozzy Osbourne 8. Bruce Springsteen 9. The Band 10. Paul McCartney 11. Simon & Garfunkel 12. Boston 13. Queen 14. The Who 15. Guns 'n' Roses
  14. Just a note for anybody who's looking to see AC/DC: they won't be playing the main stage, but instead their own tour stage, which will be set up nearby. I imagine this might be fairly shit for Them Crooked Vultures if everybody fucks off during their set.
  15. So apparently Sven is interested. Thoughts?
  16. Wiki says Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge.
  17. But the wind cuts right through ya, it's no place for the old.
