  1. i know this is totally off topic but this was the first lace i could get into to post. the EWR forum is not working for me at all and wondering if it just me. trying to dl some old scenarios
  2. yeah, its a conspiracy against me by EWB... Im just joking, by the way.
  3. Ill just go over the ones Ive seen in the last few days Summer Of Sam 3/5 Ghost World 2/5 Blood Diner 1.5/5 The Longest Yard 2.5/5 Re-Animator 2.5/5 Afro Samurai Ressurection 2/5 American Graffiti 2/5 Space Cowboys 2/5 Donnie Darko 4.5/5 Dead Alive 2.5/5 My Left Foot 3/5 Bride of Re-Animator 2/5 Meet The Feebles 2/5 Southland Tales 2/5
  4. True Crime 2.5/5 Twilight Zone: The Movie 1.5/5 No Country For Old Men 5/5 Choke 2/5 The Wackness 4/5 -This is the only one I feel like commenting on. I'd never heard of this, seen a trailer, still not even sure if it came to theaters or straight to dvd, but it was really good. Ben Kingsley was great. I just wanted to reccomend it to any bored folks out there.
  5. I wish Hollywood had some creativity left, but oh well. They don't. At least this remake is needed. The entire series of movies is shit, really. They're terrible. I dont even know how Jason got slasher icon status..he used to wear a pillow case. This cant NOT be better than all the other Fridays combined.
  6. Meet The Spartans was the worst for sure. Im not sure I even finished 1/4th of it.
  7. I wont post them all here. Theyre on the front page of the Academy Awards website. Once again Gran Torino and the Dark Knight got snubbed. Benjamin Button has 13? nominations..the most overrated movie in a long time. Rourke got his best actor nomination, but I don't see him winning. Ledger got nominated, too, but I can see him winning. Dark Knight really should've been a best picture contendor somewhere in award season. Milk gets a nod? That movie was nothing special to me what so ever besides Penn and Brolin's acting, which isn't even award-winning to me. Eastwood really got snubbed though..Gran Torino was one of my favorites of the year. I won't go into anything more..nothing too suprising.
  8. why would you say 2 things that arent on the list?
  9. Thanks for the advice up front, and feel free to leave comments on why to watch what.
  10. Slumdog definately deserves everything it's getting, I just dont want to see it sweep EVERY big award this season. I hate when one movie takes virtually everything. I didnt want to see Slumdog, had no interest in it, but it was well worth the time watching it. Dont slumdog it, give it a chance. harhar
  11. Glad Heath Ledger won for the Dark Knight, I think he really deserved it regardless of his death. I didnt care for anything in Best Comedy/Musical Picture, but Barcellona just won. Im really hoping to see Mickey Rourke pick up the best actor in drama award. 30 rock just won best actor/actress/TV comedy, which is good. Springsteen deserved the best song, if not him Eastwood's song was good too. Anna PAquin for True Blood was another win I was glad to see. 12. Transamerica - 7.5/10 Felicity Huffman does a great performance, and its a quirky little indy movie. Liked it. Kiss the Girls - 6.5/10 Nothing great. Without Morgan Freeman I probably would've quit watching. No thrillers impress me much anymore, since Silence of the Lambs is my favorite movie ever.
