  1. Not even consulting the vast majority of clubs in the competition is ridiculous, definitely. I also saw that while the 5th Round is back to a weekend slot, the 4th Round is being stretched out until Wednesday from the weekend presumably to suit TV. So in effect nothing changes with that stupidity.
  2. Nah I think it's just that Belichick is joining McAfee's own show for his Draft coverage.
  3. Replays are out of date, I'm glad they're gone. And I'm glad the 5th Round is back on the weekend too. The timing of the final seems crap but otherwise, It's positive steps in my opinion.
  4. He knows he's the #1 pick. Everyone in the world knows. All he can do by throwing at the Combine or anything else is reduce his stock. He knows his worth, basically. Marvin Harrison has been similar this year. It's not a bad thing in my opinion, on its own, and it doesn't reflect on their character either. The ownership stake isn't allowed anyway, and it sounded like his dad was pushing that.
  5. Stevenage will probably appoint another cretin like Graham Westley again to be fair. Evans is an atrocious bloke but you can't argue with his results, sadly. Worked wonders at Stevenage and did very, very well with Rotherham last time around too.
  6. I'm only 2.5 episodes in so far but I agree, as a seasoned Fallout player, the it is properly chucking "Fallout game stuff" at you. It's a nice problem to have, I feel bad being irked at all by it because usually an adaptation doesn't take enough from its source and people get upset about that, but so far this show feels like it is going out of its way to say "Look, it's this thing from the games you recognise!" If you've not played the game, it's undoubtedly a positive because it is good world-building and helps the atmosphere. If you've played the games, it's nice to see the easter eggs...but it has felt a bit overdone to me in the limited time I've watched. All that said, I am enjoying it and hope it pulls me in more as I go through it. Two of the three main characters have really intrigued me so far.
  7. I'm so glad they're making a TV show about that 90s Man Utd team, we simply don't hear enough about or from them these days.
  8. Can only hope this kicks the players up the arse and they realise they simply have to win the games against Forest, Sheff Utd and Luton to stay up.
  9. It's been an enthralling weekend but it looks like Amen Corner has been decisive in The Masters. As all around have lost their heads, Scottie Scheffler kept his and surely is going to win his second Green Jacket now.
  10. So, how about that NFL Draft huh?
  11. I do think it'll be harder because there are bigger teams with big budgets at that level that there simply aren't in League Two, but they're already paying players wages comparable with that level and I don't think it'll take them long to compete for a place in the Championship at all, thankfully.
  12. That's kind of what I mean by the worst in decades comment, it's been like this for ages. I just don't get how Man Utd can be so bad at the back.
  13. Manchester United have surely not been this bad defensively in decades. Bournemouth look like they could score every single time they come forward.
  14. Make that eight wins in a row for Doncaster Rovers. Not only that, but all six of the sides above them lost today...so with three games left Rovers sit in 8th, one point off the Play-Offs and with the team in 6th to play at home next weekend. Incredible. At the start of February they were in the bottom 3 and looked hopeless. 36 points from 45 games since then, only one defeat and in this 8 match winning run they have only conceded two goals.
  15. Winklevoss Twins invest millions in Real Bedford FC The twins that Armie Hammer played in The Social Network are investing in ninth-tier vanity project Real Bedford FC. They're now crypto bitcoin billionaires, so I'm sure it will all be above board and straight forward from here.
  16. In an "I cannot believe human beings act like this" way. I don't regret watching it, let's say that.
  17. Just finished The Traitors Australia series 2 and hahahahaha bloody nora, I've never seen anything like it.
  18. Australia is back in the season-opener slot for 2025, with Bahrain and Saudi Arabia delayed due to Ramadan. Melbourne should be first on the calendar every year in my opinion, and it'll be weird to see Japan even earlier than it was this year.
  19. In case anyone else is yet to watch it, the Brawn GP documentary on Disney+ fronted by Keanu Reeves is fantastic. A proper deep-dive into the 2009 season and that whole crazy story, I really enjoyed it.
  20. And that is now seven wins in a row for Doncaster...four points off the Play-Offs, surely not?
  21. Just my opinion, but I think a top Premier League job like Liverpool is more appealing than any other in the world bar Real or Barca, at this point in time. And Real already have a manager, whilst Barcelona don't tend to go for the "super coaches". I don't think Amorim is a better option than Xabi Alonso at all - Alonso is about to win one of the major leagues in Europe when nobody expected them to, and in dominant fashion too. But then he isn't available either, so Liverpool have to pick the manager who is successful but who fits what they want their club and team to be like going forward. Maybe that is Amorim, I've no idea.
  22. That may well be, but we're in this current mess with deductions and a constant threat of relegation with Moshiri anyway. He's led an incompetent, failing club for years and the sooner he is gone the better. Or, put another way, Everton are going down the pan with the current owners anyway.
  23. Whilst I still think it's a complete mess and PSR needs reworking immediately, I'm glad it remains in our hands to stay up despite the deductions. We have to win a few more games and survive, and then go from there with hopefully the takeover and the state of PSR/FFP.
