I have had Fallen Order on my backlog for ages, is it really quite Soulsborne-esque? I was under the impression it was a star wars flavoured Uncharted. I finished Elden Ring but playing Ragnarok immediately after made me realise I don't actually really enjoy the Souls type of combat. I might be way off the mark but I found it massively shallow compared to GoW. But I trust your opinion! For the first time in ages I think I've only got one upcoming game I am aware of really wanting, Spiderman 2.

Finished up God of War Ragnarok. I sort of thought it was shorter than the 2018 one and felt less epic in a way? But I still loved it to bits. Went into it straight after Elden Ring and I found the combat a million bazillion times more satisfying and enjoyable.

I actually really enjoyed the first one, they're all excellent games but I definitely enjoyed the story in the first one but it's the sort of series that are so fuckin huge I don't ever see myself going back to them.

I finally completed Elden Ring (and got the platinum trophy!) Took 202 hours spread over about 6 months on and off playing, finished up at level 177 and only just found out before the last boss that there's a sprint button.

I dunno man. It looks good, like im sure I'll enjoy it but it looks really similar to the last film in a lot of respects. I think for me, they went in a really different direction after the first one, I've liked the whole series but it sort of doesn't feel like it's necessary? Dunno.

Ghost of Tsushima is probably the greatest open world game I've played in a long time. I've not played the dlc yet cod I've been away from it for so long but every aspect of it was fantastic. I'd love a sequel if it was doable.

13 games in, we've played Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U and Spurs and we're still sitting 2 points clear top of the league. I'm not holding my breath or entertaining any thoughts of where we'll finish until we've played Newcastle City but that's still astonishing. Really enjoying this run so far. Jenas has to be one of the worst commentators going though.

I had enjoyed the very little I played of the first Destiny but it was very late on in the development and came across a similar predicament. I know there was plenty of content when I tried it but fuck me if I could figure out where the main campaign began, let alone how to access missions or in what order. The base gameplay felt great which is a massive shame that it felt like, if you weren't an early adopter, they stacked the deck so heavily against you.

Still top of the league but you can see the legs are starting to go. I think there's still a great team there but it's clearly getting tough to keep the momentum going. Not going to even mention the shocking refereeing, we should have had enough quality to push through.

I saw Kraken get pumped by the Hurricanes on Monday there. Do all NHL teams have a totally mental video/....stage show/bizarre team intro that involves stories, projections and props or is it just Seattle?
