Keeping in mind I *liked* 2 and 3 more than the first one... this has to be the worst movie news I've read in a long ass time. It's not an "American Pie" without any of the originals. That's like "Nightmare on Elm Street" without Freddy Kreuger, or a Batman movie without, you know, BATMAN.

I'm kinda surprised to see all this hate for Modest Mouse. Yeah, "Float on" is probably overplayed ("I Came as a Rat" from The Moon & Antartica is more representative of their sound, anyway), but still... MM own. So there.

Yep. It's that poppy nonsense that's permeated R&B, rap, and what passes for rock these days. I swear, every time I'm forced to listen to the radio, I feel like an old man blasting what "kids"listen to these days.

I actually thought last season was the best it had been in years, at least since McDonald, Farley, etc. were on/alive. Now, Will Farrell...sorry, but I always thought he was overrated. I just never found him funny, and he's gotten worse since leaving. How will Fallon do? Dunno, but considering how poorly SNL alumni usually do after leaving (with the obvious exception of the originals)...

Mario used to be the shit, well, until the move to 3D. I'm sorry, but I thought Mario 64 was overrated, and Sunshine was the drizzling shits. That was sad, because I used to be a big mark for the older games, esp. 3.

Well, considering how well the team's played since Phil Garner took over for the senile old man (aka Jimy Williams), I don't see that happening. It's probably out of the question concerning catching the Cards, but the wildcard slot is well within reach. He'll be lucky if he gets seven more RBI, much less seven more HRs. He's through. Sad part is...thuganomic posted that last month and Pettite's hurt AGAIN. In fact, wasn't it one month to the day from that post to the day that Pettite got hurt (the 26th or 27th)?!

Just heard on the radio that the Astros have fired Jimy Williams and replaced him with Phil Garner on an interim basis. They also fired hitting coach Harry Spilman and pitching coach Burt Hooten and replaced them with former slugger Gary Gaetti and some guy named Jim Hickey. That sound you heard was the city of Houston popping corks off champagne bottles.

When I first read the article, I thought the same thing, Gabriel. Turns out this happened back in October. It probably helps that he's with other recovering addicts. It's much harder to overcome addiction alone than with others in the same predicament, or so it seems.

Gotta disagree. Back to the Future 2 sucked monkey crackers. I never forget the reaction from everyone in the theater when "To Be Continued" popped up on the screen. Now, my pick for worst ever sequel...has to be Alien Resurrection, the fourth film in the Alien series. The first one was very good (dated *very* little despite coming out in 1979), but the second.......*cums*......It just so happens to be my favorite movie of all time. The third was ass (killing off the other two survivors off camera at the beginning of the movie completely negated the point of the previous film), but nothing compares to the horrible abortion known as AR. The acting is so wooden that termites get dry-heaves from it. There's one scene in particular. The "evil" general guy at the beginning of the movie ("evil" my ass... More like Eugene after getting a caramel enema from Paul Reubens) gets killed...sorta. The Alien shoots his jaw-thingy into the back of the guy's head. He nosells it, puts his hand to the back of his head, pulls outa piece of brainstem(!), and proceeds to look at it like it was a booger. WTF?!

YES!!!! I thought I was the only one who thought Tina Fey was hot...
