I'm late to the party here - but how the fuck did Bruno G not get a straight red card for that forearm smash to Jorginho's head? I have seen reports that the VAR said it "wasn't nice, but wasn't an elbow so only a yellow card". So is blatantly forearm smashing someone in the head now acceptable in Premier League games? The rule on violent conduct is: When the VAR's are ignoring basic rules of the game, there's absolutely no point in having them. Not even going to get into the goal decision - the referees in England must be the lowest quality around, it's staggering how incompetent they continue to be.

Yeah - the changes to the match engine so far are very, very impressive. Everything is very fluid, the way players interchange, and the animations are excellent too. It’s nice to be able to actually mirror real-life four at the back out of possession/three at the back in possession now.

We started Killing Eve last night but now I have seen that the finale has a rating of 3.4 on IMDb. Wondering if it's worth watching it all or not now. Game of Thrones has a 4.0 and (original) Dexter has a 4.7 so this cannot be a good sign.

I’ll add to the Sea of Stars love. Probably the best game I’ve played in months. The whole thing is such a delight and the battle system is rad.

Apparently, Jadon Sancho turned up to training late again and has even been refusing to train. Doesn’t sound like he’s backing down. Astonishing really - he has so much talent but he’ll let it go to waste instead of being a professional.

One thing that is jarring is the fact that the science outposts etc are all exactly the same. Same layout, same enemy positions, same loot, same dead scientists. I like the game itself when I’m actually doing something but everything in between is a pain. So many menu’s, shit inventory system, the spaceship flying seems almost pointless, the walking five minutes to a random landmark on a planet only to find out there’s nothing there than a couple of loot items. It’s all a chore and you waste so much time in between actually doing anything. The crafting system is overly complex too, having to research things and then go across to another station to actually mod weapons etc. The skill tree is a massive step back from any Bethesda game too. Whilst I enjoy the stories and the gunplay, overall it has been a massive disappointment for me. I’m not convinced I’ll complete it - I will more than likely end up back on the Yakuza series to fill my Xbox time.

Anyone that doesn’t watch Dave should watch Dave. It’s on Hulu in the US so I am presuming it’s on Disney+ in the UK. The show is basically a white guy that is convinced he is the best rapper on the planet and it is mostly comedy gold. His hype-man GaTa is the best.

I was so close with so many scores this week!

I really want to like this game but it feels like a chore every time I play it. It’s almost 60% menus and inventory management.

Weight limits are honestly a bit pointless. I mean, if it’s some sort of realistic thing they’re going for - that’s straight out the window when I can wear a spacesuit, carry two and carry eight guns. The whole process in moving things to storage then collecting again to mod weapons is a massive pain in the arse.
