    COME BACK AJ!

  2. This is on par with when we had that chatroom.

  3. An EA Sports game? You're going to use them as an example of games with difference between versions? Really? I'm pretty sure, by the bolded part, he meant every match is different. Not every FIFA game released is different.
  4. I have no problem whatsoever with the second Chelsea goal, they're well within their rights to keep playing under the 'rules' as they stand. I just hope as Andy Gray suggested that some clear cut official guidance materialises in the near future. Otherwise you just know it's going to keep happening and become an ongoing cause of confusion and controversy over the season much like the nonsense that is the active/inactive offside rule. Still, regardless of that whole situation, I'm disgusted with Ballack's malicious forearm which was clearly no mistake.

    Dance music

My dance music collection barely extends beyond the contents of the Clubland albums. CD2 of the latest one (15 I think) is pretty good by recent standards. Unfortunately the last few editions have focused on simply turning chart records into dance music rather than actually putting dance music on them and the results haven't always been great. If you want commercialy stuff from a few years back you gotta look up Barthezz, Mauro Picotto, Faithless, Tiesto (obv.) Ian Van Dahl, Milk Inc, Fragma... and a ton of other crap but of course my mind's gone blank at this most crucial moment. I would definitely recommend getting some of the Clubland CD's though. My favourite was Clubland 4. That was played over and over in my car and whilst some of the songs I knew already the rest really grew on me too. Top album.
  6. I think Spurs might have been able to get him a bit cheaper than that with the mess Newcastle are in at the minute. As you say though AD, he'll be playing a fair bit, let's just hope he justifies his price tag.

    FIFA 10

Yeah the Rooney only one was just a temporary cover that websites were using to advertise the game. The cover's not that important to me but it's nice to see some new faces on there. Can't help but laugh at the grungey frame though, there's a template almost identical to that in Paint Shop Pro 8.
  8. Doubt that collectors edition will make it to the UK in much of a hurry (and besides, I have more games now than would fit in the locker) so I shall be pre-ordering it from Play as it's only £30 there anyway. I can only imagine Dwight is even more immense in this years than he was last year, in which case he is going to be phenomenal. SO psyched for this game. Along with Uncharted 2/FIFA 10 this Autumn can't come soon enough.

    The Truman Show

I think just about all the Jim Carrey movies I've seen are brilliant. I just like the guy, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I was 9/10 when the Ace Ventura films came out so I adored them and the whacky humour at the time and I still enjoy watching them now. I don't think I'd ever consider The Truman Show amongst my top films but I can't fault it at all. I can't put it better than McFly when he said it just has a charm about it as well as the sinister side of it too. I probably think Bruce Almighty is a lot better than it is. Cause it's one of those films that you and a load of friends will have seen more than a few times and find yourselves quoting at each other. This happens a lot with people I know and Carrey films. I love the extras on the dvd where they basically show him doing whatever the hell he feels like in a kitchen full of props amongst other things.
  10. Vialli, Ravanelli, Di Matteo and to a lesser extent Amoruso, Pistone, Festa, Maccarone, Macheda ( ). I can't believe I forgot those first three! And I'll give you Lorenzo Amoruso, Alessandro Pistone and Gianluca Festa (just), but Macheda hasn't yet proven himself (plus he's come through an English youth system) and I won't even entertain the idea that Massimo Maccarone was 'successful' . And you forgot Massimo Taibi Yeah to be honest the first three were good, the others were more or less a joke and pretty much the only Italians I could remember playing in the PL for any length of time. Except Macheda who I stuck on there because I find it funny when people get pissed about him being talked up as the second coming of christ.
  11. Been playing my brother's rented copy of Terminator: Salvation earlier. It's not as bad a game as people make out to be. It IS pretty easy though, I'm onto the fourth chapter (out of 10 I think) on HARD mode and shooting games are so not my thing. Maybe that's why I'm enjoying it anyway. It is however postponing my playing Ghostbusters which can be added to my growing list of games I've played, never completed and moved on. Also includes Midnight Club, LittleBigPlanet, Rock Band 2, Burnout (not even touched yet), Rainbow Six: Las Vegas and LOTR:Conquest. It's going to get worse as well in Oct/Nov. I'm pre-ordering FIFA 10, NBA 2k10 and Uncharted 2. In fact I get FIFA and NBA just before I go away to Center Parcs for a week. I am going to have to take my PS3 with me.
  12. Vialli, Ravanelli, Di Matteo and to a lesser extent Amoruso, Pistone, Festa, Maccarone, Macheda ( ).
  13. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Oldies but goodies and as they're sandbox style games you can waste hours playing them. There's also Theme Hospital, Worms, USM 98 (simple but fun footy managing game) cluttering my drawer at the minute.
  14. Can't understand the Chelsea votes for Prem champs. Sure they're no pushovers but they have a squad that was branded 'ageing' two seasons ago and they haven't made any serious signings this summer to improve the team other than their manager who'll no doubt be under immense pressure to perform or be out the door by Christmas. I wouldn't like to make a full set of predictions but I do think it'll be between Utd and Liverpool again this season at the top.
