  1. I think it's fair to say that he'd have been sacked earlier if it hadn't been for his great relationships with the players and fans. With the cut-throat nature of football today, one win in thirteen, regardless of previous success, is only likely to result in dismissal. Still, it's sad to see an end to his tenure. The last time there was such fan positivity at Forest before Cooper was probably back in 1995 under Frank Clark. It would be a big shame to see them go back to churning through managers and getting nowhere.
  2. It saddens me to hear that Steve Cooper will probably be sacked today. He's a big fan favourite at Forest and I can see things getting rather sour if Santo doesn't have a good start.
  3. There's probably a bit of ego involved. Joining Stoke means plenty of opportunities to prove yourself on a cold night.
  4. Apparently, he's alert and responsive in the tunnel, which is good news.
  5. Apparently, the game is still playable online.
  6. I was expecting a simple Suikoden-like RPG, but that looks like so much more. I really hope it's as good as it looks.

    Starfield

This game is getting city maps in a future update. They're maps that let you work out where the buggering hell you are in a city, if you can imagine such a thing.
  8. It's a bit boring to think that every team will have the same drivers as they did at the end of 2023. Part of the excitement of a new season is seeing new driver pairings.
  9. Earps is the big favourite with the bookmakers.
  10. Oh, I wasn't trying to imply that that was what you were saying. It's more the case that Everton have managed to get results without being spectacular about it. A couple of weeks ago, the general consensus among Forest fans was that losing at home to Everton was a cause for great panic. While Forest aren't doing well at the moment, Everton certainly aren't the team everyone can bank on beating, which is contrary to what a lot of people were thinking at the start of the season.
  11. Everton would be in the top half if not for the points deduction. They're doing deceptively well.
  12. Structural reform and not being managed by Steven Gerrard clearly go a long way.
  13. I'm very impressed with how well Aston Villa have been doing. They were a club on a gradual decline that resulted in three seasons in the Championship. To say they've rebuilt well is an understatement.
  14. A Shadowheart drop, more like. Ho, ho.
  15. The armour was worth it after all.
  16. I don't usually care at all about awards, but I hope Zelda doesn't win this. I know some people who would be insufferable about it.
  17. Technically, it's the final "world premiere", so there could be something else that has already been announced. The Elden Ring DLC wouldn't surprise me.
  18. Monster Hunter just isn't for me. I'm not a big fan of slowly chipping away at a massive health bar over and over again.
  19. I was expecting a Baldur's Gate 3 release date. They just had an advert and didn't mention it.
  20. I just can't look at Sam Lake without seeing Max Payne. It's hard for me to believe he's a real person and not wearing a mask.
  21. I've always found it odd that only a few of the award winners get to make acceptance speeches. Why does the action-adventure winner get one, but not the RPG winner? I'm not complaining, though. The show is long enough as it is.
  22. It seems a little bit cocky that the Zelda bloke had the acceptance speech pre-written on his phone.
  23. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense if you have played it.
  24. Given that it's being published by Microsoft, I would expect it to be on Game Pass.
  25. It's the time of year again for adverts, stage invasions and Geoff Keighley reminding us that he's friends with Hideo Kojima.
