  1. I thought he looked short, but I'm not sure how they determined it was undisputable to change it.
  2. I read his comment like six times, because I thought he was making a corny joke that I just wasn't understanding. But nope. GhostMachine believes in golf rules.
  3. I would never wish for someone to get hurt, but Aaron Rodgers did ruin whatever Danica and I had together.
  4. It would appear the Giants got some of the Mets stink on them. Also, lol our survival league. Looks like a dozen of us went ahead and got our lone Washington pick out of the way early.
  5. I'm glad Alabama lost (also, stressed out Tommy Rees), but I hate the "Texas is back!" rhetoric. They've been "back" five or six times in the last decade. Watch them finish 8-4 again this year.
  6. I'm happy for Dan Campbell. And @VerbalPuke! Also, which of you took the Chiefs to win this week in Survival league?
  7. Anybody on EWB plan on trying out at WR for the Chiefs this weekend? Going for it on 4th and 25 on your own 40, with all three time outs and the two minute warning was a decision.
  8. You all picked Tom Brady and the Buccaneers to beat Brett Favre and the Vikings, too, right?
  9. I'd play. I haven't followed the NFL much over the last few years, but that may be the key to my success!
  10. I've said for years that adding more teams to the playoffs kills the excitement of the major upsets. I'm telling ya. They're killing what makes college football unique. In a few years it'll be NFL Jr.
  11. Brian Kelly, true to form, suggested the players take accountability in his post-game press conference. They (the players) need to figure out what they did wrong and fix it. Him leaving and us promoting Marcus Freeman is the best thing that's happened to the program in decades. Have fun paying him $8 million a year, Bayou Bengals.
  12. I'd never heard of this, but it looks like something I'd enjoy. I'll wait for the price to come back down though, because it's back up to $50.
  13. Doesn't matter. Stadium is over twenty years old now which means it's time for the billionaire to make the citizens pay the $2 billion to build him a new one.
  14. Cal and Stanford to the Big-10 makes sense from an academic standpoint.
  15. You can choose segment length by minutes, so you're not restricted to eleven segments. But it's interface is quicker and more intuitive than TEW. Or at least it was quicker than when I last played TEW two or three years ago. There's a more intricate title history, show history. It feels like you're competing more with other promotions than in EWR which always kind of felt like you could do what you wanted and the other promotions picked up the pieces. You can edit databases while in the game too, which is a huge advantage over EWR, I think. There's more, but I'd suggest giving it a shot if there's a free trial or demo. I think it was just one sale for $4.99 during the Steam sale, which is a steal compared to the TEW price.
  16. I gave up on TEW a few years ago and love the simplicity of this game. It gives me more freedom than EWR but I'm not drowning in the details like TEW.
  17. Mourning the college football I used to love, and struggling to accept this new fangled NFL Jr concept.
  18. The Yankees offense is slightly better than Oakland's. We fall somewhere in the Oakland, Detroit, Kansas City range of offensive ineptitude. I don't think people realize just how atrocious the offense is. The Yanks are 3 games over .500 because of the pitching. If we had even an average offense, we'd be 20 games over .500 and waltzing to the World Series. Aaron Judge has missed half the season and is still leading the team in home runs and runs batted in. Actually, I stand corrected; Gleyber Torres now has 44 rbi's and Judge is second is 42. I'm frustrated because the offense was abysmal last year too and instead of addressing it, Cashman sat on his hands and expected Josh Donaldson to turn back time and become an MVP again. The man has been the GM for 25 years. Hal Steinbrenner needs to find his inner George and clean out the front office completely.
  19. We got a reliever, which is great considering we already have the best bullpen in baseball and still have an offense that averages 3 runs a game. #FireCashman
  20. I wish my GM was doing something other than incorrectly assuming this weak ass lineup is going to remember how to hit. We should be selling and getting even longshot prospects at this point. Judge went 0-for-1 last night with 3 walks and we had 3 team hits. The playbook is out on how to beat us. Walk Judge and pitch to literally anyone else on the team.
  21. Today Mets fans learned that baseball is still played in September.
  22. There's also nothing wrong with coaching high school football.
  23. It's the thin air. The man's high as f right now.
