  1. Luton 1-2 Brentford (Sat 3pm) Sheff Utd 1-1 Burnley (Sat 3pm) Wolves 0-3 Arsenal (Sat 7.30pm, Sky) Everton 1-0 Nottm Forest (Sun 1.30pm, Sky) Crystal Palace 1-1 West Ham (Sun 3pm)
  2. So, Barcelona were 1-0 up on the night and relatively comfortable - then Araujo got himself sent off following a last man challenge and PSG have scored twice to level the tie at 4-4. But it's essentially still 0-0 after 145mins of football, so, boring. 😑 Edit: Mbappe pen makes it 5-4 PSG on agg.
  3. Apparently playing in the Eredivisie gives you a good shot too, mind.

Week 31 will be posted tomorrow.
  6. It's been like that all season, not like Bournemouth are doing anything particularly special to cut through us. We're one of the worst teams in the league, sometimes bailed out in moments by 1 or 2 of our attackers. We should be 4 or 5-1 down at HT and yet Bruno hit the bar to almost make it 2-2, which would've been the most undeserved scoreline of the season.
  7. Newcastle 1-1 Tottenham (Sat 12.30pm, TNT) Brentford 2-0 Sheff Utd (Sat 3pm) Nottm Forest 1-1 Wolves (Sat 3pm) Bournemouth 1-2 Man Utd (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villa (Sun 4.30pm, Sky)
  8. I think last night, we saw the flipside of the argument ahead of the 2nd leg. Yes, the games from Tuesday are essentially write offs now due to the draws, but Barca won an exciting game in Paris 3-2 last night. The 2nd leg of that should be equally as exciting, but if those 3 goals were away goals I sense we'd be watching a far more cagey affair. And it should be known that I was never really against the idea of away goals in the first place, and wouldn't be bothered if they were brought back, I just see the reasons for not having them too. Metalman's one off games idea would be best for entertainment, but obviously not when it comes to making money so won't happen.
  9. See I'm not sure about this. If away goals were a thing, Real would've been more defensive in trying to prevent City from getting one or multiple, and it could well have ended in an actual 0-0. I'd prefer to watch a 3-3 than a "tactical" goalless draw. Different comp, but you saw what happens when neither team really wants to lose/go behind in the City/Arsenal game the other week.
