To me, this is what I enjoy about country music. When it's raw and means something.

I play on an HDD currently and while it probably loads a little slower than it would on an SSD, I've not found anything that would make it unplayable. I just use the small loading time to make a quick trip to the bathroom or grab some water. That makes it sound like it takes longer but it's generally loaded before I even make it to either of those places.

I played a lot of Parasite Eve 1. It along with Metal Gear Solid became speed running games for my friend and I. I'd love to see a remake of that one at least.

I don't know anyone who is actually playing it on easy though. I'm on medium and I think Ruki is too. I never go to the completely easy level of a game, or the hardest either because I like a challenge but also don't want to get too frustrating. I would think that if the easiest level is quite a bit easier than what I'm playing at, it shouldn't be too bad. The one thing I do wonder is whether the story is actually good enough to recommend it to you for just the game play. So far the story feels somewhat empty and I'm not sure if it's because I'm only about 8 hours into it, or if it really is this empty.

It depends. If you're going to play it that way then you need to make sure you save every few minutes. I've learned this the hard way and gotten very frustrated several times when my autosave is far enough out that it screws up quite a bit of progress.

I think for me it's a matter of rushing things. I wasn't being strategic enough at all and that's 100% not the way to play a game like this. I've always been a "run and gun" sort of guy, even in semi-stealth games. I'd rather just run through and shoot you than wait in a corner and snap your neck. I need to change my mindset.

I almost threw my mouse 3 times in like 2 hours so I can concur. But I've also never played D&D in my life.

I apparently suck at this game. I've had many deaths. I picked the lock of the door that you come to when you first crash.....I probably shouldn't have done that. There's a lot of people in there that want to kill me...and did....a few times.

Anyone who bought BG3, what was your first character? Half-Elf Rogue for me

We are 3 days away. I'm kind of excited. Between this releasing and the FFXIV expansion announcement. I'm kind of excited about gaming right now.

I sadly did not discover Justin Townes Earle until after he'd passed and felt like I missed someone truly special when I listened to him. He's probably more bluesy than typical country but it kind of reminded me of Hank Williams Sr but better. I've never been a fan of Hank Sr. I find he sound way to whiny in all that he sings. Same with Patsy Cline.

Basically give me anything with a story and I'm in. Coming from a trucking family, I was always a huge fan of Red Sovine as well though a lot of his stuff could be considered "Talky Country" but I loved it.

Oh hell yes. Jerry Reed is great. She got the Goldmine (and I got the shaft) is so great.

Did you just bash Conway Twitty and Randy Travis? How dare you! I've listened to country music most of my life. It really wasn't until I was like 14 that I started listening to anything outside of country music, and honestly now that I'm older I'm kind of back in that box. I still appreciate other types of music but country is basically like home to me when it comes to music.

Does anyone play Cyberpunk? I've held off on it so far due to all the issues it had in the beginning. I've read that it's been cleaned up a lot. Just wondering if it might be time to give it a shot?

I redownloaded Path of Exile to give it one more shot and man, either this game is hard or I just suck at this type of game because I deleted it again out of frustration.

I grabbed it on preorder since you get the digital deluxe copy or whatever it is for the same price as regular version during Early Access so now I'm really excited.

It is. I watched some gameplay footage from the reveal back in 2020 and it was amusing to watch because the developer actually died in the first battle he was trying to show.....after throwing his boots at one of the enemies.
