The only reason they're signed and getting attention is because of him, if it wasnt for him they'd be a bog standard band struggling to get signed, now they're just a bog standard band with a well known frontman/guitarist. They're bland as hell in my opinion, they're not doing anything new that other bands aren't doing better.

I'm not a massive fan of Jackson basses, the guitars are good, but they're okish bass makers. I prefer Lakland or Warwick basses myself. I've got a Lakland 55-94 which I adore for my 5 string stuff, but most of the time I stick to my 3 string custom, as its a little bit odd looking, but sounds brilliant with its EMG pick-ups.

The trailer looks great, and in all of it, they showed Jodrell Bank, the big satiellite place!! I've been there!! How sad.

I'd go for the Fender combo as you're getting everything in it really, a decent bass for a beginner, a nice little 20 watt amp and a guitar lead. Fenders are really good for beginners so I'd go for that. I ain't played a Fender for about 4 years but it'll do the job for you. The Tobias is a piece of crap, and it's an active bass, you don't want the hassle of that with the batteries and stuff. Mine is an active bass but I built this myself for my own specifications (it's a 3 string bass ). To learn on you just need passive pick ups for now.

Batman Begins for me, because it just looks solid overall. And I think Bale could even be better than Keaton as Bruce Wayne in this one, he's perfect for playing the guys with he darker edge to them, he nailed Patrick Bateman perfectly in American Psycho. Update, Download & Ozzfest are being combined for a 3 days festival they "hope", 10/11/12 June, first day is gonna be "Indie" themed, Feeder have apparantly been announced as the headliners of that day.

SOAD seems possible, as they dont have gig on that day in their European Tour, and they're playing Munich on the 11th, last time they played there was Ozzfest 2002 wasnt it? Ace gig, Daron nearly got killed too thanks to high winds and lighting falling down.

True, Pegg is the man, I saw him live supporting Steve Coogan, it was ace. Then I saw him again in Big Train (possibly the one of the greatest comedy shows ever) and recently saw him again in Black Books 3, which I must say, is a wicked DVD.

The only ones I've got from that team still in mine are Graeme Lee, McGovern (back up for the right wing), Chris Brunt (out for 5 months :S) & Lee Peacock on the bench. Another good signing is Adam Miller from Aldershot, he's cheap as hell too. Andy Kirk plays really well with Peacock.
