  1. Not really a stat update, but the promotion we have as SAW (Showtime All Star Wrestling) is defunct. They've handed the keys over to the other SAW in Nashville (Southern All Star Wrestling) but they have dropped all the Showtime storylines, and only use a few people from the old promotion, I think Chris Michaels is the only one in the database. Being as how 90% of the roster is not in the database, and I'm horrible at coming up with stats, I'd say remove them from the database.
  2. Real minor thing, but remove Dan Masters as an Announcer from SAW. He hasn't worked for them for at least a year. Its been Michael Graham by himself or with Reno. Heck, they haven't even done a show since April or May, getting a new building ready for October. People might want to consider Crossfire or TCW when we get around to looking at Regional Promotions.
  3. Can I just get some advice from those of you who field these stat questions? How do you do it? What do you use as your guides? I've become increasingly frustrated with how woefully underrepresented my neck of the woods (Nashville) is in the database, so I want to start adding workers and volunteering them for the updates. I just would like to know how you guys have been setting stats. Right now, I've got all the local workers that are in the database in a spreadsheet, and trying to compare them to the guys I want to add. There are three other very small companies in Nasvhille, besides SAW and Crossfire, and some of these guys work from Mobile to the Carolinas to Illinois to Missouri, so some of them have some talent and deserve to be included.
  4. Yes, I'm interesting it playing with it some and see how it holds up.
  5. Ok, so I can't find a 2000-2001 dataset that I like, and it dosen't help that I am anal retentive. I wanted a 2000-2001 dataset with CMLL, AAA, WWC, etc. It seemed like the easiest way to go about it was take a 2003 dataset and add in the 2000 materials I need. Now, having done that, should I de-age all 2900+ workers and staff 3 years, or will this do odd things to their stats over time?
  6. Weird question, and this seemed like the right thread to ask. Anyone remember the years that Kaiju Big Battel were in the updates? (I want Dr. Cube).
  7. Let me second that. Belts for TEW05 would be good too.
  8. Echoing Feller's sentiments here. The celebrities have NO place in the data, in my opinion. If you really, really need Snooki for your WWE game, thats what Arsenic is for, isnt it? Not to have your staff wanting to pick her up for the next 16 months. I'm also ok with splitting out FCW. Is it the "right" solution? Not necessarily, but nothing else works well either. Even with FCW split out, WWE starts the game with 99+ wrestlers, and spends the first week or so firing people, then hiring up big name non-wrestlers. If you are playing TNA, ROH, a created fed, etc, is that really what you want?
  9. I agree wholeheartedly with eliminating ISW. I delete them even if I don't need the space. I'd be all for SAW, and can help some with the workers, I've been going to their TV tapings here in Nashville all of 2011. I'm going to start another thread next week, taking a look at the top ..I dunno, 50? promotions in the United States, and maybe we can figure out some sort of "modular" way to do it. Where people can relatively easily add and remove promotions as they desire, and Bill, who does wonderful, wonderful, essential work, can not have to shoulder it all himself. I would also agree with seperating out FCW and setting it as a promotion of its own. I think it would be fun to run, and one way to get around the whole "WWE fires 30 workers the first week" issue that always happens. But, as Bill himself said, we all play differently.
  10. I dont know if this is the right place to bring it up, but I will. If it needs a new thread, I will move it. Not to take away from the GREAT work you all do to keep the Database up to date, but is there anything we as a community can do to improve the quality of the promotions in the Database? I mean, like every time I get an update, the first thing I do is give LLUSA an owner who likes high flyers, so they actually hire lucha wrestlers, and dont end up with Bill Watts taking over the promotion (that happens in about 2 out of every 3 games if I dont adjust that.) And several companies seem to go out of business even in good business times, so they need money adjusted, or size, or something. Is this something that anyone else wants to look at, or is it just me?
  11. Thanks for the photos! Especially welcome as a download as I cant access your photobucket at work. I hate using workers I dont have pictures for.
  12. Some great ideas here. I keep spreadsheets all the time too. My generally have: Workers Name, Heavy/Light/Woman Age Gimmick Overness Brawling Speed Tech Charisma Manager Tag Partners Stable Notes. I color code the faces and heels, and update the Overness every month or so, then resort to see whos doing what.
  13. Was there ever a version of this for TEW05?
  14. Enjoying Wrestling Again. Whats wrong with me?

  15. Let me have an email address and I can send you some samples of diaries I have done before.
