  1. Deron Williams seems to be heading to Besiktas in Turkey. Hopefully more stars follow suit to stay in shape during the lockout.
  2. Andddddddddddddddd there goes Nick Folk's job.
  3. The right call by your definition is that anyone other than a QB can get hit with a helmet anywhere on his person and not get flagged for it, and that's because the rule basically makes everyone other than QBs expendable. I think the rule is if the person is an active runner and if a QB goes all Mike Vick and runs from the pocket, he's the same as any other player. There really is no debating it, by the rulebook, it was a clean hit. Does the rule need to be changed? That's debatable. It really was an unlikely occurence, the first guy who hit Collie turned him into the other guy who fucked him up This pretty much. But the more glaring question coming out of this game... I can't be the only one that hates listening to Phil Simms call a game, right? No, he's dreadful. But alas in all of his infinite Phil-osophy I now know that helmet to helmet hits ARE allowed if you are a runner. OK, Phil. Whatever you say.
  4. The sad thing about the Vikings comeback is that Childress can keep his job for another week and sit there and go "Hey we don't need Randy Moss to throw the ball." You have a top 3 running back and he's an afterthought because Childress is at the mercy of Captain Cockshot Brett Favre.
  5. Oh Matt Schaub, you have to throw the ball to get yards. Getting sacked is not a positive thing.
  6. I catch about 45 seconds of the Pats/Bungles game on TV while at work last night and it seems that I wasn't seeing things. Chad Ochocinco kicking a PAT and the subsequent kickoff. Further proof that preseason games should constantly have the Benny Hill music playing in the background.
  7. The Defense and Special Teams of the New York Jetropolitans.
  8. Former college basketball brothers Scientific and Majestic Mapp Former Georgetown Hoyas Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje and Boubacar Aw
  9. Oh Brett Favre, $10-$12 mill went spent. Oh wait, they traded picks for Sage Rosenfels and now he may be the number three. Bravo Vikings. Bravo.
