  1. Regarding NWA; Nwa pro was the name of the territory run by David Marquez. Most of his affiliate promotions were based in southern california, in order to showcase the talent, nwa championship wrestling from hollywood was created. Taking the best talent from all of the promorions in the area. When Trobich relinquished his position with the NWA, Marquez and all of his associated promotions left the NWA. Speculation that he was forced out has come up, but that is neither here nor there. Nwa championship wrestling from hollywood became cwfh. Basically NWA pro no longer exists. As the NWA has new directors/governors a slew of promotions have left and a many new ones have joined and are still joining. I have left out some details in order to keep this brief I Just wanted to give a little background. Currently the most prominent promotions under the NWA banner are (IMO) Smoky Mountain Ring Warriors On Fire DAWG These promotions have a decent Internet presence. I should mention that there are several promotions in Texas that have been stable over the years, but not easy to find information over the Internet. Same with NWA Top rope. It would be cool to have a Texas promotion in the game to vary from the North East bunch, but if there is no info, there is no info. NWA Mountain State had a TV show a few months ago, but took a hiatus until after the new year. Recently they announced a name change, which escapes my memory right now. For EWR, I had suggested earlier that we move the belts to ECCW this no longer is going to work as ECCW is probably not going to license the NWA in the near future. On Fire, DAWG and Costal put together the show to crown a new champion and sounds like they could work together a lot in the future. Costal and DAWG have been working closely for some time now. The North American Tag Champs wrestle mainly in this region. This is the same with smoky Mountain, Premier, and Mountain State(again I can't remember the new Name.) World Jr Heavywieght champion is in this region. Ring Warriors is an interesting one, the use some seasoned well known veterans and a good mix of very strong younger wrestlers, and have hosted two shows in the Bahamas. Currently home promotion of the Tag Team Champions (there's a spoiler here but I'm on my phone and can't get the tags to work properly). Khahagas (world champion) wrestles mostly here and in Texas. The National title is currently Vacant And the NA title is in Texas on a Guy named Carson - I doubt he is in the game. I don't know the women's champion's home promotion. Currently the titles are spread out everywhere. Which is what an alliance should do IMO. I would like to suggest create a promotion in the game using a roster split. Either choose NWA On Fire/costal/DAWG or Smoky Mountain/Mountain State/premier. Or just use Ring Warriors and have vacant belts for those who are not used in the promotion. In the last option rhe player can always hire the guys if he wants. We could also have all the promotions under one name and have the roster split by region, which I am less in favor of. This is a lot of information, hopefully it helps for some more discussion. Or like someone said choose one promotion and add the Top ten guys. I'd like to think the NWA titles should be present on the game when briefcases are included .
  2. Rename NWA Anarchy to Anarchy Wrestling change Initials to AW Rename NWA Hollywood to Championship Wrestling from Hollywood change Initials to CWFH Rename NWA Force-1 Pro to Force-1 Pro change initials to F-1 Remove the NWA initials from the following titles NWA Anarchy Heavyweight NWA Anarchy Tag Team NWA Anarchy Television NWA Anarchy Young Lions NWA F1 Heavyweight NWA F1 Heritage NWA F1 Tag Team NWA Heritage - Rename to CWFH Heritage and Suspend the title NWA Heritage Tag Team Rename to CWFH Heritage Tag Team NWA International Television Since ECCW is now the only promotion in the game representing the NWA the BOD titles would be associated to them, however ECCW has not booked the worlds title in a long time and I don't believe they have ever booked the world jr. heavyweight title. CWFH is still recognizing Adam Pearce as the world heavyweight champion but have dropped the NWA from their website. The BOD titles in the Game: NWA World Junior Heavyweight NWA World Heavyweight We could delete these titles or move them to ECCW and suspend them. We could change the NWA world Heavyweight title to CWFH World Heavyweight but I'm pretty sure the belt is currently the same and is property of NWA so we will have to see what they do with it in the coming months.
  3. Re ECCW: completely agree, when is the last time they headed up to St. George? I Don't really see them touring the entire Province. Secondly, the Population in BC is less than Half of the states in the US, their exposure would be similar to a promotion that toured their state of Alabama, Louisiana, or Tennessee. Hell even Puerto Rico has a population just a few hundred thousand from BC, a Puerto Rican promotion would be on the same level. "That would be assuming the promotions had events across thier state/Province" They are not a regional promotion IMO.
  4. I disagree here. There's a difference between offending people at a house show and dropping an offensive line on live television. Are you saying there are different standards if it isn't televised? Would this mistake have little to no effect if AW said this at an JAPW show. Would kozina take a bigger hit to ATT and beh had it been a televised match. Would kozina not take a hit if there was no video. Would Jericho take a bigger hit if it was a televised show in Brazil. Just because it isn't televised doesn't mean their behavior is more acceptable. Televised or not these workers misbehaved and their behavior stats should be dropped.
  5. Did we drop Jericho's att and behavior after the brazil flag kick? I know there was a lot of discussion, and I believe there was little to no change. I might be wrong there. The AW incident is similar to The Jericho one. I think the change in stats should match.
  6. Many rumours of stated Jim Miller (NWA-EAST) has withdrawn membership from the NWA. Miller as well as the ECCW representative were opposed to the organizational management change of the NWA to Tharpe. Since the settlement last week PWX has removed the last of the NWA references from their website. Two options: Change NWA- East to PWX and change titles from NWA to PWX and delete the North American Tag Title Or Remove the promotion - this was discussed earlier anyways citing issues of it not being updated. I gave some updates this month but I doubt I'll update it any in the future. Which ever is easier to do this month. If the first option is chosen, removal could be discussed or acted upon next month. ECCW may be leaving the NWA shortly also, but hasn't officially withdrawn or made any statements/actions that would confirm this. If they do, the only real change for them will be the names of titles. But we will have to wait on that for a bit. Adam Pearce is the New 5X NWA World HWT champion.
  7. For what it's worth, there was a report on wrestleview awhile back that CMLL's "Dos Leyendas '12: Mexico City" had an attendance of 11,000.
  8. Didn't you kind of answer your question? (That may have sounded rude, and I apologize if it did.) You said 9/10 times thus 90% hence over should be in the 90s (it is an over simplified analogy). You show a picture of the Rock to someone I'd say 10/10 times the person would know who he is. That is why I see The Rock as the only one at 100. As for Angle, Austin, and Hogan I could take a picture to work tomorrow of each of them and Hogan might be recognized by a few and to a lesser extent sting might get a nod but I don't foresee anyone picking out Angle. (granted I work predominantly with women, so it isn't really the right demographic, and I doubt they are wrestling fans, but that is what you said in you're post). All things considered both Sting and Hogan have a unique look which help in the recognition, Angle is a bald white guy. I do like the concept, and it would be fun to try wouldn't it? One point is we are getting crowds in the WWE with quite a few kids ages probably 6 or 7 and up. Anyone who is under 12 would have stated watching after guys like Austin retired I don't think they are going to know who he is (that is assuming all these kids start watching WWE on TV at 4yrs old). I'm not saying he isn't relevant any more and I'm not saying he wouldn't main event if he came back and wrestled. I'm just saying he is not recognizable by 100% of the fan base. I'm saying a drop of 2 points, which is pretty much nothing in the grand scheme of things. Seriously 2 points; that's still 98% of fans would recognize him. This point applying to Sting also: WCW was bought out in 2001 I believe, Anyone starting to watch WCW in say 2000 at age 4 wouldn't recognize sting, thus anyone who is under say 16 would most likely not recognize Sting; a 12 year span. (which becomes a much more prominent demographic of wrestling fans). I think I'm being pretty liberal with the 4 yrs old thing, too. I didn't watch wrestling till I was about 7 or 8 and couldn't recall more than a couple names. To reply to Team 720:"...yet he is in the 80's when you SHOULD be in the 90's to be a main eventer in a global promotion like WWE or TNA" 1. I see your point, however TNA is barley a global promotion at a PI of 10. If their PI was at 50 I would agree. 2. You said should be in the 90's, bit since we have the buffer(which is for the instances in which a promotion is on the brink between to levels, i.e TNA) I would say it NEEDS to be above 82. and if the promotion had a better PI then they SHOULD be in the 90s.
  9. I don't often mention my views on the over of guys in the big promotions but here is my view on just a few aspects. 98 Steve Austin hasn't been a regular since 2005, granted he makes sporadic appearances, but as a new generation of fans are generated new fans don't care for guys like this as much. You'll see more of these guys in this post, same idea applies to them. When a worker starts making regular appearances for WWE again their over should go back up, but one-off appearances here and there does not generate enough buzz for new viewers to become fans. 98 Hulk Hogan - same as above 90 Kurt Angle - again hasn't appeared in The Big promotion for what 5-6 years, Red is suggesting an increase (granted it tiny) but I would think it should go the opposite way. I remember watching or reading (not sure which) an interview in which Angle said he's often approached by people asking why he doesn't wrestle anymore? There are becoming more and more fans who don't have a clue who he is because people don't know TNA exists. 90 Sting - Again hasn't wrestled in a world promotion since WCW (I’m not considering TNA to be a world promotion since we have them as global based on the game’s glitch) Actually I think it would be easier to drop any TNA wrestler with an over above 90 down by 5 points at least. Seriously, these guys are nowhere near as known as the top WWE guys. The TNA guys overness keeps getting upped and it accentuates the problem that was discussed on the previous pages of this form. Keep them where they are or better yet lower them so that the FCW guys are able to be set lower so the workers are able to stay in the Dev Territory longer. The Main Eventers for a Global are 91-100 with a 9 buffer. Since TNA is barely a Global Promotion (in the game) the best scenario is to have all of TNA’s Main Event workers between 82 and 90 where there will be no complaints from workers or suggestions from staff to move the workers. I will make a slightly different case for Jeff Hardy – Had a more recent return to the WWE for a decent good length of time. I’d like to see him at about 92. But within a couple years down to 90. The Undertaker is fine at 99 I think the only wrestler that should be at 100 currently is The Rock. Side note: This may make it look like I’m a TNA hater, but I’m not and I do like the product more than WWE. I just think it’s realistic that many wrestling fans still don’t know that the promotion exists. (Okay “many” wrestling fans may be an exaggeration, but there are enough of them, and many that do know it exists yet don’t follow TNA or their wrestlers)

  12. Please do. Just remember the overness is based on their popularity in north America, so unless they've been televised in the US or Mexico, the workers' over should be kept quite low. Also, if they don't speak English, French or Spanish, they wouldn't speak in a North American promotion. I think that it is sufficient to put "Speaks: no '." Or I'm saying something wrong? That is what I meant. To team 720: I don't think It's a rule that has been discussed. But it seems obvious to me, do you see it differently? As for DGUSA, do those Japan guys do interviews for the PPV in Japanese? If so then they should still have speaks ticked (I think this would apply to subtitles, I know AAA has done that for English speaking wrestlers. If they do it for Japanese wrestlers as well, I don't see a problem with that.) I hope that makes sense. My point is, would a promotion give interview time to a guy who can't speak the language of the crowd? no. If they did the interview it would suck. In order to compensate for that we would have drop the charisma of a bunch of workers. Which screws up angles that don't need speakers. I realize we have to make exceptions for workers who do speak one of the three languages ( fr, en, sp,) because the game doesn't apply them to different regions. But we should draw the line after that.
  13. Please do. Just remember the overness is based on their popularity in north America, so unless they've been televised in the US or Mexico, the workers' over should be kept quite low. Also, if they don't speak English, French or Spanish, they wouldn't speak in a North American promotion.
  14. Why increase it? Granted I don't watch much ROH, but Austin Areis ?sp was the ROH champ and left the promotion for TNA, became the x division champion. Therefore IMO the x division belt should be higher than the ROH title, the x division title is only at 73. At the current 70 it is still higher than the CMLL world title, AAA Megaheavyweight and the TNA TV title. Up for interpretation. Anyways, Brandon Locke's finisher Locke down should be an Impact move. please change Roxie Cotton's name to Gabby Gilbert, see hasn't used Roxie Cotton in months check out any recent WSU poster.
