Currently working on Relationship - I watch a lot of shoot interviews but I would like to hear your opinions of the following ones : Hulk Hogan/Randy Savage - friendship or dislike ? On Savage's interview (2003), he seems to dislike Hogan. On the other hand, Hogan always praise Savage's talent and refered him as a friend. Jake Roberts/Honky Tonk Man - Roberts seems to dislike him for the guitar's shot in 1987 (in a WWE DVD he says that put him on rehab) but on the shoot interviews of HTM, he says that he is friend. Michael Hayes-Jimmy Garvin/DDP - I heard that the Freebirds bullied DDP at this time - but on the Wrestling Roundtable, DDP called them his friends and he was saying that they help to his career. Now, I remember why I rated Suzuki so high - on Pancrase (1993), he was very impressive.

The thing is, this is a North American wrestling simulator, so at least for overness, foreign wrestlers from any country outside of the US, Canada, or Mexico will not be rated as high even if they're huge stars in Japan. OK I get it - and their gimmick/alignement (Hiroshi Tanahashi is currently an Evil Foreigner but he is the top face of NJPW)? Still working on the Data. Made a lot of work in Stats. First, a look at Brawl : Bold = Raise/New Italic = Decrease That the changes I did in six months - some seems weird to me - I'm not sure on the followings changes: Ric Flair : 83 to 82 - I may raise him to 84. Tech stay at 82. In 1991/2, his series of matches against Piper, Hogan and Savage were really good. Great performance against young Michaels in December 91 and Mr. Perfect in late 92/93. Only his matches against Bret Hart were average... Rick Rude/Arn Anderson : 82 to 81 - Don't know why I decrease Arn's value. Rick Rude is hard to rate - he is really irregular but against the right opponent, he is marvellous (Sting, Steamboat). Larry Zbyszko : 79 to 78 - even at the end of his career, he wrestled great match in tag bouts. Also, not sure if the youngs Minoru Suzuki and Dave Finlay deserves 80 yet. Hulk Hogan's boost can feel odd but his late matches in Japan (with Muta and Hansen) really impresses me. His work in the US was fine. He didn't wrestle a lot in 1992 (last match is at WM).

It's seem that a lot of Japanese wrestlers are underrated I can only help for NJPW - before I made suggestions, their biggest stars (Tanahashi, Nakamura, Goto, Okada) - how do you rate them in Overness?

The Rockers were a popular tag team at the time - after the Roadwarriors and the Steiners, they were the most cheered. Look at the other tag teams: LOD : 90 Steiners : 88 Enforcers : 85 Rockers : 81 Nasty Boyz : 79 Natural Disasters : 77 Freebirds: 76 Also, Shawn was already a top wrestler back in January 1992 - you should watch his match against Ric Flair or against the Orient Express in RR 91. He is currently rated at 84 in Speed BTW. I can understand that Tech is a bit high. And yeah, Charisma at 85 - the Barber Shop segment was done in December 91 (on TV in January). At the end of the year, Shawn's charisma should be at 88. P.D. : In the next update, there will be no more wrestlers with 0's everywhere.

Is it too late to suggest some stats? Well, I just check the stats of one of the best wrestlers - Hiroshi Tanahashi - and they seems to be really low. Raise his Brawl to 75, his speed to 59, his Technical to 85, his Selling to 84.

Now, IMO Great Khali and Jack Swagger are more Midcarders.

Looking at some wreslters Selling stat, Cena is rated higher than better sellers. One guy in particular is Sheamus (77 currently) - instead of Cena, he is believable in his comebacks. So, yeah Cena should be rated at 78 - 73 is really harsh. And Sheamus should be at least at 83. He made Del Rio looks credible last night - he delivers also greats performances against Ziggler and D. Bryan. EDIT : There was a discussion about Backlund's charisma. This guy was funny back in the 90's but I 'm not sure about 85 right now. 77-78 is good IMO.

Team 720's suggestions: Charisma Agree with all the changes in Charisma for 90+ (exception: Ric Flair - Hogan at 96 is good) For 80+, agree as well especially Swagger at 80 (exceptions: Kingston and Ambrose) IMO Abyss could be raise to 80 - his segments as Joseph Parks are entertaining and he plays his character great. Overness as well at 80. Paul Heyman : I always rate him higher. You are talking about Slater being an annoying guy, Paul Heyman is the master in this domain. Great talker, IMO he is 93/94. Alberto Del Rio : I never found him entertaining, annoying or charismatic. To me, his promos are insignifiants. He has some trouble with English too. (I concede that his facial expressions are great). And what do you think about Ryder, Truth and Marella 's charisma? They are comedy wrestlers, some skits are funny but I don't find them charismatic especially Ryder. IMO Truth is 87, Marella 86 and Ryder 84. Brawl I'm with Kris in that. So we are three (Kris, Mancuerda and me) for Undertaker at 86. Also, Drew McIntyre (76) and Swagger (75). Tensai should stay at 77. Agree with Mancuerda for Storm's charisma to 86.

First, we weren't agree about raising Undertaker's brawl to 86? What do you think about Kevin Steen? IMO his Brawl could be raise to 85. Brawl: 74: Al Snow, Justin Gabriel, Ryback, Zack Ryder 73: Curt Hawkins, Damien Sandow (??), Epico, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, Tyler Reks 72: Alex Riley, Gunner 71: Mason Ryan I believe all these guys should have brawl decrease. Al Snow: I don't know when the last time he wrestled... Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater: decrease to 71. Ryback : he is just doing squashes and his stats had raised - 70 IMO. Agree with Darnez about Riley, Ryan and Jackson. Hawkins and Reks - don't know if they demonstrate good brawls in Superstars but I guess they could go under 70's. Lower Gunner to 66. Zack Ryder : his brawls against Kane weren't great. Lower him to 70/71. Also, Kazarian at 45 seems really low...

Disagree with that. His last bout with Kyle O' Reilly was tremendous. I feel Brawl 's stat could be raise. Well, I notice for a lot of guys that the Speed stat was overrated for my taste. For example, I don't see a guy like Clay at 31 (same as Orton, Ryback, Marella and Barrett). For the moment, I updated the Brawl Ladder I did last month (added DGUSA and PWG):
