Amazon has today confirmed a second season which is good because... (spoilers for the end of S1) Watched the first episode on its own and I wasn't super impressed - feels like it was designed to be watched in one go. Also thought the first ep went out of its way to be as violent and dramatic as possible just because it could. But once it got into the swing of things, I thought it was overall a pretty good show. Solid 7.5 out of 10.

I really wanted to like Revolution, like the idea was good. But I thought they fucked it by jumping too far forward from the off, the breakdown of society is more interesting than the “society is already broken but how did we get here” approach they took. Like I don’t care about the destination when we skipped most of the journey. Not relevant in any way to your point, I just really like the trailer then was let down by the show, so am having a moan.

Genuinely really pleased for Italy, absolutely outplayed Wales for 75 minutes. The really disappointing thing for me is that the narrow scoreline flatters Wales. If we’d lost by the margin we deserved, it would hopefully have driven the WRU bosses to make the big changes that need to be made. As it is, they will parrot the young and developing bullshit and we’ll continue moving backwards at great speed.

Anyone watch The Rig, on Amazon Prime? Thought the acting was a lot better than the plot, which sort of didn’t resolve anything. But not like in a cliffhanger kind of way, but more like a “we don’t really know where we’re going with this” kind of way. Been given a second season though, so that’s nice.
