There have been cases where games have broken the legal street date here in Australia.

Well I didn't know that, so thank you for clearing that up.

Stupid store won't give me the game one day early, I pre-ordered it and everything. I know that they don't like breaking the street date for big games, but this is hardly a game that is going to cause an uproar if I get it one day early.

Should be picking this up either this week or the next, I'm in.

I've played a little bit of Forza Horizon 2 and I must say I am impressed at the level of detail gone into the cars. The ability to drive yourself to your next destination is a fun thing to do, I have always liked that. Midnight Club is a good example of the "free roam" of driving games. I have not attempted online however the idea of having a club for EWB members sounds rather inviting. Does anyone else have the game? What're your thoughts?

I probably should have posted it here but I picked up a Xbox One yesterday. Thoroughly impressed so far. "Innafire" is my gamer tag, I share it with my brother who happens to be the same age as me so it's all good. I Also pre ordered WWE 2K15 for the console, looking forward to that. Hopefully it isn't as much of a disappointment as it was on the PlayStation 3..

Going to purchase a PlayStation 4 today. What games do you recommend I pick up? (Excluding FIFA 15, Infamous Second Sun and Killzone: Shadowfall).

How stupid. This game is just getting worse and worse by the second. I know I was all for having equal opportunity for last generation and current generation for this game but I am not even going to waste my time. I'd rather go out and buy 2K14 again and play that.

I'm with you. I've bought it every year for the roster update (even if it's minimal) and any extra features or modes that they might have put in. Unfortunately this game seems like a rental for me rather than a purchase.

I'm so glad developers don't agree with you. We've been stuck in the last console generation for way too long. I guess there are always those that would prefer a faster horse... To try and sell the newer console? Simple logic.. it's business, they couldn't care less about you not wanting to, or not being able to upgrade, there's more money in current gen. Yeah, fair point.

I'm not talking in a graphics sense, I couldn't care less about how the game looked because I know it'll always look better on the current generation console. I'm talking from a game play stand point. I want to be able to have the same gaming experience on a PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 as I would on a PlayStation 4/Xbox One and I have a feeling that isn't happening with this game. Why make a completely different game on an older console than a new console? When knowing that most but not all people would still have the older console.

Which is understandable but for people like me who still have last generation consoles and don't particularly plan on upgrading soon, I'd like to have to same experiences and fulfillment in the video game as a current generation console player would have. The addition of "Who Got NXT" mode is a poor excuse and as much as they are trying to persuade the consumer of "this is the current console, it is a far better experience than last generation" I don't like feeling as though I have to purchase the current generation of console to have the full gaming experience.
