  1. The most important part here is that there might be no Community creations. Community Creations play a big part in the longevity of modern WWE games for even if the roster might be outdated, you could be sure that within weeks you can download a bunch of CAWs of the missing wrestlers that look just as good as, and in a lot of cases even better than, the official models. The lack combined with some big names missing from the roster could be a deal-breaker as I'm not sure that people would be willing to go back to look for CAW-formulars and then build those wrestlers themselves like they had to in the past.
  2. I'm in the same boat. A visually very impressive show that is lacking in substance. And the episodes go on for too long. You could cut both episodes down to half an hour and would loose nothing of importance. On certain aspect I find heard to believe is that
  3. Weren't there reports that there was some kind of conflict between Kenny Omega and Yukes a while back? Maybe the decision to cut some of the bigger names and release them as DLC was played into that as well?
  4. Very enjoyable indeed. And it is very reassuring to know that the showrunner and his writing team have the entire story laid out in front of them this time around.
  5. So I really enjoyed Prey. Nice to see a genuinely good Predator movie, particularly after the train wreck that The Predator 2018 turned out to be. I never saw the Predators movie from 2010. Is it worth checking out?
  6. She died in her sleep at age 73 at her ranch in Southern California. A cause of death has not been confirmed yet, but it is most likely breast cancer. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/aug/08/olivia-newton-john-star-of-grease-dies-aged-73
  7. I never cared about achievements at all. There is only a handful of games I ever 100%-ed were the ones that only had one achievement.
  8. New Blind Guardian! The studio version of the song they played during that Virtual Wacken show last year:
  9. WW is one of those characters you shouldn't idolize, but a lot of people do anyway. See also Tyler Durden, Rorschach, Rick Sanchez, Travis Bickle, Tony Montana, Thanos, Don Draper, Tony Soprano, Jordan Belfort, Ledger's as well as Phoenix's Joker and the like.
  10. That cult never made sense to me. What was their goal? And why the hell did it involve Myers impregnating his own niece?
  11. I'm not saying H20 was bad. I enjoyed it. Probably the best Helloween movie since the 2nd one and the ending worked for me. It would have been a decent conclusion for the franchise. Unfortunately it was a financial success which let to that pointless sequel being made.
  12. It is still a stupid retcon.
  13. Have you seen the theatrical cut of Halloween 6 or the producer's cut? The theatrical cut is a huge mess. The producer's cut doesn't make the movie much better, just more coherent. And there are 5 timelines in the franchise: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 (Thorn timeline) 3 (Shamrock timeline in which the original movie is played on a TV in the background of a scene) 1, 2, H20, Resurrection The Rob Zombie remake timeline 1, Halloween 2018, Kills, Ends
  14. My bad. I misremembered that scene. It is a shovel that Rhymes hits Myers with after he shouts "Trick or treat, motherfucker!" at him. It was a bizarre movie. I kinda wanted them to make a follow-up to it just to see what zany stuff they would have come up with next.
  15. Since we don't have an official Hard Rock thread, I'll just put it here: Guitarist Steve Morse has quit Deep Purple to take care for his wife Janine who is battling cancer as per their Facebook page:
  16. I hope they stick with it this time around. I remember when Laurie Strode decapitated Myers in H20 and that was supposed to be it. Until H20 was really successful and the studio wanted to make another one and in one of the most stupid retcons in movie history, it turns out the guy Laurie decapitated wasn't Myers, but some poor EMT Myers put his mask and overall on and then tied up and gagged so he couldn't talk. And then they kill Laurie Strode in the first 15 minutes of Resurrection, robbing Michael of his entire raison d'être. And in the end he gets an axe driven through his skull by Busta Rhymes.
  17. I totally forgot about the IGN countdown. Checking that website every day to see who made the roster and in the end always being disappointed when it is done because someone you liked wasn't included due to debuting after the cut-off date. There was always someone missing.
  18. That would have been SmackDown Vs RAW 2006. It was also the one in which they introduced GM Mode.
  19. Nintendo has bought CG Production company Dynamo Pictures and will rename it to Nintendo Pictures once the acquisition closes which is expected to happen in early October. Looks like Nintendo won't be relying on other studios to produce movies based on their IPs any longer. Here is what Dynamo Pictures has worked on in the past: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0199346&sort=release_date,asc https://www.theverge.com/2022/7/14/23214706/nintendo-dynamo-pictures-acquisition-pictures-mario-movie
  20. The game did allow you to beat the crap out of Fred Durst though. That is a positive in my book.
