  1. I suspect it's down to my management, but have people had issues with throwing away leads constantly? 3 times in my first season I was 3-0 up at half time and drew 3-3, a fourth time this happened but I did manage to nick a late winner. This season I've had it happen once and also lost a game 5-4 after leading 4-0 at half time. I find regularly though I'm good first half and terrible in second half's. Is that likely a fitness issue, or are AI managers just better at reacting to things on the go whilst I should be more proactive in changing things?
  2. Appreciate they're all subjective, will try and dig out sources for any of the ones above! Although I though strong friendship out ranked best friends but I'm not certain on that at all!
  3. I'll keep dipping in and adding a few each week on the relationships - some will be debateable so go with whatever you think works best CM Punk Roman Reigns Cody Rhodes Sheamus Jon Moxley Bill Goldberg Kenny Omega Charlotte Flair Hulk Hogan Alexa Bliss
  4. The WWE Hall of Fame needs updating for 2022 (Undertaker, Steiners, Sharmell and Vader) and 2023 (Rey, Tim White, Great Muta and Stacy Keibler) Maybe add Bad Bunny as a worker too, had a couple of matches before and seems like he's going to occasionally pop up in WWE for future matches I think Kane can be released from the WWE, I don't see his deal as being any different to Stone Cold or The Rock who turn up on occasion. Trish Stratus maybe needs a contract with WWE, but I'd see how involved she is this month On overness, Logan Paul is down as being 'recognisable' and at the same level as Johnny Gargano, Luke Gallows and Dakota Kai. I think there's a case for him to be pushed as high as Orton and Cody due to the reach he has. Ronda Rousey should probably move up to being Well Known for their reach outside the WWE. MJF contract can be amended to run until Jan 2024 Big E, Orton and Styles all need their injury lengths reduced as they're still at the initial amount. I know it's a bit up in the air how long they'll be out for, but I suspect it's not as long as what's in. Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt probably need to have a hiatus at the start of the game Undertaker can probably be changed to an Exclusive Handshake deal Money in the Bank is June week 4, not July. Extreme Rules can be bumped to later in the year Just looking on the backstage part in WWE and the following have personalities which are viewed as being negative influences - Brock Lesnar, Carmella, Cody Rhodes, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Maryse, Sonya Deville, The Miz, Vince McMahon. Definitely think some are correct however Miz and Cody I think should be the opposite end of the spectrum and actually be viewed as very positive influences. Maybe on the flip side Ronda Rousey should be a negative influence? Some relationships which may need tweaking - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to best friends (from strong friendship) CM Punk needs a dislike with Chris Jericho Jim Cornette needs dislikes with Santino Marella, Kenny Omega (currently has one with Kenny King, maybe an error), Riho and Orange Cassidy John Cena needs friendships with Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, and dislike for Ken Anderson Jon Moxley needs a friendship with Daniel Bryan William Regal needs to be a mentor to Jon Moxley and Cesaro Paul Heyman has no relationships, Brock Lesnar would be the obvious one needed Michael Cole needs friendships with Paul Levesque and Pat McAfee Paul Levesque needs either friendships or mentor of Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn among others Drew McIntyre and Sheamus should be best friends Loyalty/Strong Friendship between the New Day members Bayley is best friends with Carmella, think this should be changed to Sasha Banks, who in turn needs strong friendship with Naomi Finlay needs to be added as a mentor to more of the female wrestlers, certainly Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Natalya have all been positive about his influence They're just a few I dipped into, if you want I don't mind going in deeper on this and trying to pull lists together - may add a bit more of a challenge with some of the bigger companies having to manage this
  5. I'd guess Forest Green, Harrogate and Accrington as they're some of the 'newer' clubs in the league, so less chance for playoffs/pizza cup I'm pretty sure Blackburn and Coventry can't be far off too as don't recall either going to Wembley, maybe ones from playoffs 15 years or so ago
  6. AEW notes - Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen need Matt Hardy removed as manager Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet are managed by Stokely Hathaway Red Velvet and Stokely are heel Julia Hart now a heel and manages Malakai Black (and arguably Brody King and Buddy Matthews) remove from Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Christian Cage is now heel Marko Stunt, Jack Evans have all gone Dan Lambert manages Paige Vanzant, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky Jungle Boy is dating Anna Jay Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti are now heels, and managing each other Don't think Tully is still managing Shawn Spears, but not certain on this one Sonjay Dutt manages Jay Lethal Mark Sterling manages Tony Nese William Regal maybe a babyface, no idea on this one though FTR should be faces Hook is a babyface Daniel Garcia is a heel Inner Circle and Jurassic Express stables can be made inactive Wheeler Yuta needs to be moved from Best Friends to BCC Another debateable one - Kenny Omega, Don Callis and Michael Nakazawa removed from the Elite, make Adam Cole leader and rename the Undisputed Elite Few Tag Team tweaks A Boy and his Dinosaur renamed to Jurassic Express Fish and O'Reilly renamed to ReDragon MJF and Wardlow made inactive TayJay made inactive
  7. I recently started a new game and simmed forward a year to take over a team who had been relegated, and luckily Newcastle were one of the three teams. In season one they had signed Diego Carlos, Santi Cazorla, Manuel Akanji, Hirving Lozano and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whilst only selling Federico Fernandez. The majority of players wanted to leave but were easily convinced to stay when I promised promotion in the first season. I did manage to cash in on a fair few players - Chris Wood going for £13.75m, Almiron for £5.75m, plus Dubravka, Mkhitaryan, Hendrick, Krafth, Ritchie, Shelvey, Manquillo, Cazorla, Gillespie, Clark and Fraser for a combined £48m The rebuild first season wasn't needed to be too drastic. Paul Onuachu and Ben Sesko came in for £40m whilst Fabian Delph, David Raya, Harry Winks, Divock Origi and Filip Ristanic made up the rest of the signings. 23 games in and I've won 19 drawing 4 so promotion is all but on the cards and allowing me to plan now for promotion. Going up a goalkeeper, left back, centre midfield and right winger will be the key areas to target.
  8. I'll avoid spoilers of the draft, but a couple of changes for WWE main roster Sheamus be a heel Carmella is a heel I think Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Drew Gulak and Nia Jax should all be heel although these are more questionable Same with Alexa Bliss being a babyface, I think she's more on the face side Riddick Moss injury can be ended Miz needs to have a starting absence for a month due to Dancing with the Stars MVP is out for a short time with a knee injury Asuka is out with a hand injury
  9. I've had a couple of DM's about this so thought easier to put here rather than reply individually So after this fizzled out from my side I decided to strip a lot of what I had done back (as I wasn't happy with it) and basically start off. I've actually made decent progress but I'm at the stage now where that needs to be ramped up. Here's the current progress Workers: Currently 1838 workers added, of which 270 are completed (stats, popularity, basics, personality etc) This is clearly going to be the bulk of the project, and I'm setting myself a goal of minimum of 100 workers per week to be completed. Clearly if I maintain this then we're about 16 weeks away from this being completed Companies: 49 have been inputted, with only one fully completed (WWF). This is going to be done slowly over the coming weeks as the workers are the priority. This is an area I'll continue to research as I want about 75 companies (including defunct companies) by the time of launch Titles/Title Lineages 246 Titles have been added, no further details have been inputted on these Title Lineage has been a secondary project alongside adding workers as this is too big a task to do in one go at the end. There are currently 2892 lineages added with lineage from another 114 titles to be added Venues/Locations This is an area I want to build on, however the main launch will be limited (as this can constantly evolve). Currently there are 9 locations added (New York City, London, Chicago, Atlanta, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Detroit, Los Angeles and Pittsburgh). The launch will have at least three locations from each region, and more in larger areas Again venues will be limited to start, I'm hoping around about 100 in the initial launch however these will likely be bigger arenas/stadiums. Tag Teams Currently 60 tag teams added and completed Another 65 tag teams are ready to be added in, with more being looked at as the lineage side project is completed Contracts 59 WWE contracts completed so far. WWE will be prioritised first before looking at other major companies Alter Egos 25 have been completed so far, more being added as full worker profiles are completed. These will predominately been mainstream WWF/WWE guys in the first instance Hall of Fames Hall of Fames have been completed for WWF, WCW and Stampede Wrestling This will only feature workers who have already been inducted, and will not include any future inductees Worker Relationships 791 have been added - this will be the bulk of them initially Other Areas There are currently 161 move sets and 191 moves, these will be added to as more workers are added The NWA will be added as an alliance for the initial release with current members added to it Stables need work in drafting up as only the NWO are currently added I'm aiming for a minimum of 50 gimmicks, 50 match types and 100 angles for the release of this, these will continue to evolve as with venues and locations Currently all WWE events for 2002 are ready to in, other companies will have these added over the coming months Broadcasters and deals are a huge area I need to research, this will be the secondary project once all title histories are completed Because of the amount of work being done I'm accepting there is also a lot of room for error. I'm planning at about 1000 workers completed to release a very raw version of the database to allow anyone interested in the set up to look at any obvious errors in overness or worker stats. This would effectively be version 0.1 of the mod. All being well I'm hoping to get to that stage by mid-May!

    Taskmaster

I expected there to be more 'Channel 4' regulars as they now have the rights to it, Jimmy Carr, Richard Ayoade, Sean Lock etc. Frankie Boyle mentioned he was offered to do it but turned it down. I rated it, although took me a few episodes to get into it. Lee Mack will be the stand out in the next series. The most recent series I couldn't into as much at all but I'm more hopeful for this one
  11. 25 is a struggle as it is, don't take away the only half decent players we've had! Realistically Keane, Batty and Hasselbaink would be elsewhere too
  12. I guess for Leeds, although a few of them would be elsewhere: GK: Nigel Martyn, Paul Robinson, Kasper Schmeichel DF: Gary Kelly, Luke Ayling, Ian Harte, Jonathan Woodgate, Lucas Radebe, Ben White, Patrick Kisnorbo, Rio Ferdinand, Dom Matteo MF: Pablo Hernandez, Lee Bowyer, Lewis Cook, Kalvin Phillips, Olivier Dacourt, Gordon Strachan, Gary Speed, David Batty, Jonny Howson ST: Robbie Keane, Mark Viduka, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Jermaine Beckford
  13. Arsenal 0-3 Man City (Sat 7.45pm)Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea (Sun 6pm) I assume it is scores after 90 minutes we're predicting?
  14. Well that was eventful... So a quick update as to where I am there's not 1587 workers in the game, of which about a quarter of them have been completed (attributes, skills, popularity etc). The base details of the WWF, NWATNA and CHIKARA have also been completed. I need to get more referees and announcers added, especially for areas such as Japan and Mexico however the workers are the priority at the minute. Title histories are the other major piece of work at the minute, because of the time involved and the number of other workers which I'm finding. I've also started to look at arenas which were used by bigger companies. I suspect the initial launch will have limited venues but a higher number of locations so make this part a bit more useable. All tag teams and worker relationships I currently have mapped out are added to the game, however the ones I've mapped are probably around 50% of what I will have by the launch.
  15. I'm currently working on a 2002 mod for TEW from April 2002, the main elements of this will be April 1st will mark the first night of the WWE Brand Extension with Raw and Smackdown rosters set Chikara is set to begin in May with NWATNA and MLW set for a June launch ROH is still in it's infancy Touring promotions XWF and WWA are still active, whilst XPW, CZW and JAPW offer alternatives CMLL and AAA dominate the Mexican scene, NJPW, AJPW, Zero-1 and NOAH are the leaders in Japan, and FWA and UK-Hammerlock represent the British market So where is the mod at the minute? Currently there are 41 Companies added into the game and 1316 workers which are having the profiles/stats updated. The base data for 238 titles (with currently 1225 lineage records), 500 relationships, 60 tag teams and 15 gimmicks have been added - clearly there is still a long way to go with this. The planned release will be staggered in three parts: All worker profiles completed, rosters for all companies in place, full titles and title lineage, TV shows and networks, tag teams, stables, gimmicks, hall of fames/immortals, Power 500 completed. New match types and angles file in place. Amendments made/errors fixed from the above. Venues/locations added. Chemistry/Announcer Experience completed. Completed training facilities and graduates. Pictures/agers added for workers Further amendments to the above. Match/hair histories, scandals, other TV shows, media groups, eras and narratives finalised I want every area of the game to be completed I'm aiming for an ambitious first release in August but that's a bit of a stab in the dark at the minute. Where I could do with help with is rosters for the Japanese/Mexican companies. Any information/links/sites which people have for these would be a massive help!
