  • The Jets are said to be getting antsy, and their offer to Le'Veon Bell likely won't last past tonight. If he's going to sign there, it probably will have to happen "very soon".
  • Former New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson intends to sign a two-year deal with the Chicago Bears worth $5 million per year, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
  • Former Seattle Seahawks guard J.R. Sweezy has agreed to a two-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, sources confirm to ESPN. His addition gives the Cardinals a replacement for Mike Iupati, who is a free agent after finishing the 2018 season on injured reserve. Sweezy, who turns 30 in April, has played right and left guard during his seven-year NFL career.
  • Former Arizona Cardinals safety Deone Bucannon has reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal reunites Bucannon with new Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians, defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and outside linebackers coach Larry Foote. All three were previously on the staff with the Cardinals.
  • The Atlanta Falcons are planning to sign guards James Carpenter and Jamon Brown, sources told ESPN. Carpenter, formerly of the New York Jets, intends to sign a four-year deal with the Falcons, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Brown is planning to join the Falcons from the New York Giants on a three-year deal, a source told ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
  • Former Denver Broncos center Matt Paradis intends to sign a three-year, $27 million deal with the Carolina Panthers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
  • Former Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold intends to sign a four-year, $44 million deal that includes $22.5 million guaranteed with the Tennessee Titans, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.
  • The New York Giants intend to sign veteran safety Antoine Bethea, a source told ESPN, confirming a report by NFL Network. Bethea has a familiarity with Giants defensive coordinator James Bettcher's defense from their time together with the Arizona Cardinals.
  • Former Seahawks’ QB Brett Hundley intends to sign a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, per source.
  • Kansas City have agreed to terms with LB Damien Wilson, formerly of the Cowboys, source said.
  • The Steelers and free agent CB Steven Nelson agreed to terms on a 3-year deal for $25.5M, source said. At $8.5M APY, Steven Nelson's contract with the Steelers should be valued as a 4th rounder. Therefore, unless Le'Veon Bell signs for more than about $11M APY, then Nelson would cancel out Bell's comp pick no matter what. (twitter.com)
  • The Bills add to their O-line with former Raiders guard Jon Feliciano agreeing to a two-year deal.

For fucking real. NFL Network, right now.

The third-round pick, by the way, is the one the Browns acquired when they dealt DT Danny Shelton to the Patriots. Again, that's 95th overall. And it gives the Giants a 3, they forfeited theirs in drafting CB Sam Beal in the supplemental draft last summer.

This feels like a pretty crazy off-season.

Meanwhile it’s a typical Cowboys free agency, sitting around doing nothing.

The Browns are absolutely loaded and are easy favorites to win the AFC North next year. They didn't give up all that much for Odell, especially when you consider they probably were gonna use that pick on offense anyway. They've got a 4 year window now until Mayfield gets the biggest contract in history, so might as well push all the chips in now.

Also so many of these GMs must not watch football. The ZaDarius Smith contract is lunacy. He had SIX really great weeks this season and after that was just a guy. And those are all the great weeks he's had in his whole career. Mosley was always getting overpaid, he's an old-school LB playing in a new-school world. Ravens don't really have a pure replacement for Mosley, but we've always cycled through pass rushers. It's interesting times here. Baltimore has never gone nuts in free agency and I don't see a reason for them to start now. They'll be drafting defense heavy most likely too, so it might help offset some of the depth lost in free agency. I would like them to sign a WR and Ingram or Bell to complete the offense.

The best part of this week is all the talk radio callers who can't grasp the concept of a salary cap.
