Like I said, one of these year a team is just gonna flat out not play any starters all preseason and risk losing a key contributor in a meaningless game.  See if having them practice only is enough to get them ready for the year.

I understand why preseason games exist: To work out the kinks, and to see how new coaches, rookies, other players new to the team (trades, free agents, etc), and players returning from injury perform. But too many players are getting hurt in these games that are meaningless in the long run.

And the Eagles have injured backup QBs. Kessler has a concussion and Sudfield has a wrist injury.

Ravens already lost Tavon Young for the year but that was due to a practice injury. Those are inevitable. But the added damage a preseason game schedule inflicts is just not good. Eventually teams are going to play scrimmages and nothing else in terms of getting guys ready.

If the media didn't try and create stories out of every little thing that guys like AB and OBJ do or say they wouldn't have anything to talk about.

You ain't wrong, and I do believe he might have had his agent kind of hint at it to see if it would give him leverage, but this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. 

It doesn't help I already had my fill of it with the 'the Lakers' don't even know their own salary cap' shit. The teams aren't even good, go try and stir up drama with the Dodgers!
