It sounds like a lot of people expect Cole to sign tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Yankees just dropped the GDP of Micronesia on Gerrit Cole and the Sox are about to trade Betts to save some money

So Cole can opt out after 2024 which is great for the Yankees should they ever want to get out from under it.
