Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes has completed his medical ahead of his move to Tottenham. A formal announcement on his move is expected in the next 24 hours. Gedson will join on an 18-month loan deal, and Tottenham have an option to buy for £56m.

Watford have agreed a £6.8m fee with Udinese for winger Ignacio Pussetto. The 24-year-old is having a medical at Watford this morning, with the move expected to be completed later today. He will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract.

Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has completed his loan move to AC Milan for the rest of the season.

Paul Pogba is likely to leave Manchester United this summer with Real Madrid and Juventus both chasing the midfielder, according to Sky in Germany. The 26-year-old France international would prefer to join Zinedine Zidane’s side in Spain, Sky Germany are reporting. United want to keep Pogba at least until the end of the season due to lack of replacements available on the market this month.

Man Utd -> Juventus -> Man Utd -> Juventus would certainly be an interesting career path. Has anyone ever bounced between two clubs like that?

I know Kris Boyd comes close with three spells at Kilmarnock and two spells at Rangers, but at least there were a few other clubs involved in the middle of his career.

Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio is in London today to meet up with Tottenham and Chelsea over deals for Christian Eriksen and Olivier Giroud. Inter have offered £8.5m for Eriksen but Tottenham value the Denmark international at double that fee. Sky in Italy reported on Friday that Giroud, whose Blues deal expires in the summer, had agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Inter.

Seriously though, they have Casemiro and Valverde in midfield already so even if Modric and Kroos were moved on, they'd still be absolutely stacked if Pogba came in.
