The second season of Mr. Robot is the least of them but it's still good, the reason why people didn't like it is because the first half is frontloaded with a story that sidelines Elliot. It's not show-breaking and everything that comes after that is great. Season 4 was my show of the year last year and wasn't close.

Oh man, more of you should give Sabrina a go, Season 2 had a lot of good Buffy vibes going on. 

The other show that's made the list so far that I loved is Marvellous Mrs. Maisel - what a beautifully realised show. 

Very excited that The Deuce's final season is finally available in the UK. Always dug it. 

I lost all my enthusiasm for Mr. Robot after the reveal in Season 1. I'm tempted to dive back in at some point, but eh. 

Yay for Euphoria. That's the most binge-worthy show of the year for me. 

I'm hoping Umbrella Academy builds in a good first season and grows a little closer to the comics in some ways as it progresses (hopefully gets more budget).

To be fair to Mando, it hasn't released in the UK yet and that rules at least 50% of forum regulars out of the equation for voting for it.

Mando is good but it wasn't particularly compelling to me throughout, either. My personal taste just prefers a more overarching approach. 

I really enjoyed The Umbrella Academy. Like a lot of Netflix shows they could maybe shave off an episode or two but it was still really good.

Euphoria is amazing and should be higher! It would have been higher on my personal list but the 3 above it just edged it out for me.

Every time I see an ad for Stumptown, my brain thinks it stars Jennifer Carpenter from Dexter (who I'm not a fan of) rather than Cobie Smulders.

I'm not 100% sure but it absolutely feels that way to me. I'd be surprised if there was another time in recent memory that I did a whole, five-show update where every single show in it wasn't on the list last year (and certainly not outside of maybe 46-50) but it happened this time. I'll probably check to compare them when I finally finish this in the next couple days, but my guess is there's a bunch of new shows but also shows are more comfortable skipping years than they used to be. Wow I just realized I didn't vote for Big Mouth at all. The 12-15 group is great.

Succession should be higher though! What a phenomenal season.
