Impact! Spoilers – Friday 26th November 2004

Hey guys, Its me Steven again from last week. Solid show as the week before and continues the build to Turning Point. (highlight below)

Results:

Jeff Jarrett came out alongside Hall and Nash as Impact opened. And the men had a giant cage behind them – with Abyss in! He did not look pleased at being locked in a cage. Jarrett’s first line, “Looks like we caught a monster boys!!” and from there on he said how he was glad that Abyss was on his side now, and that this measure of locking him up inside a cage was to make sure his aggression and anger was on a high leading into Turning Point. He would not be let out now until the Pay-Per-View itself! Abyss took a swing at Jarrett as he went up close to the cage and Abyss certainly didn’t look on their side from my viewing.

Hall then moved on to how there were now four members of the team onside, and only one left who was not…Monty Brown. All three men called Brown out to come and join the team…

Brown did come out but once again told Jarrett, Hall and Nash that he wasn’t going to be a team player and that he was going in to Turning Point to win the title. This displeased the champ who told Brown that he should be supporting the cause like the rest.

Jarrett then came up with a solution…him against the Alpha Male TONIGHT! The crowd went wild at this point, as Jarrett then moved on with a “however”. He said that if he won that Brown would be forced to be a team player this Sunday at Turning Point…but if Brown won he could do whatever the hell he wanted! After a long pause Brown agreed and the two men very cautiously shook hands on the stipulations…

Chris Harris def. Elix Skipper

Harris won this match after nailing the Catatonic, but after the match Skipper attacked him with a steel chair! Harris was busted open after the shots and had to be helped to the back for medical treatment as Daniels joined Skipper in the ring. There was no sign of James Storm throughout…

Kid Kash was interviewed backstage, he said how he had heard rumors flying around that Jimmy Snuka  was coming back to TNA and would be in Piper’s corner at Turning Point. But he said he would choose Dallas to guard his back over some old samoan any day. Kash then promised to end Piper’s wrestling career at Turning Point.

6-Man Tag Team Match

Chris Sabin, Nosawa and Mr Aguila def. Team Canada

Sabin scored the pinfall after nailing the X-Division champion Petey Williams with the Future Shock. Following the match Team Canada grabbed some microphones and Williams said how he was sick and tired with always loosing and not getting the respect that he or Canada deserved. After loads of whining from all three members Dusty Rhodes came out and told them all to shut up, he then announced that he was so fed up of Team Canada bickering that at Turning Point, Bobby Roode and Eric Young would face TNA’s newest additions – The American Patriots…in a Tag Team Flag Match! Oh, and if Team Canada lose? THEY WILL BE FIRED!

In the back Raven was walking around seemingly looking for the mystery man when he spotted someone sticking another note to a wall…he grabbed the man and turned him around. It was Chad Collyer?! Collyer protested his innocence but Raven just started to beat the crap out of him…both men eventually ended up in the ring and a match ensued.

Raven def. Chad Collyer

VERY short match, Raven got the Evenflow for the win and after the match the mystery man – who was dressed all in black slid into the ring! He stood behind Raven and had a note in hand…

When Raven turned around the lights went out around the arena…there was a long pause of darkness before they came back up to reveal the mystery man was gone, and just the note was left on the mat. Raven opened it up and read it before dropping it to the mat and heading off to the back. The cameras focused in to show what is said on the video screen, “Raven, I am the only one who can help you reach your destiny. Turning Point…I shall be there for the revelation, for the unmasking. I shall be there to take you back on the path to DESTINY…” It was signed by the Mystery Man…

Backstage a limo pulled up and it was speculated that it was the replacement for Konnan in the tag match at Turning Point…however the Macho Man Randy Savage climbed out. He was met by Shane Douglas who admitted he expected the latest TNA addition. Savage told everyone that the replacement for Konnan would be on Impact next week! And that he would be personally escorted by the Macho Man.

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall def. Jeff Hardy and Randy Savage

Good match with both teams having a fair share of offence. The ending came when Hardy was given a Jacknife Powerbomb by Nash, there was no outside interference in this match surprisingly.

Backstage Jeff Jarrett told Shane Douglas he would unify his team finally after he defeats Monty Brown next…

Monty Brown def. Jeff Jarrett

A match with loads of interference finally ended when Monty Brown scored the Pounce on Jarrett for the three count. Following the match Brown posed with the NWA Title as BG James and Ron Killings also stood in the ring. Jarrett/Hall and Nash backed away down the aisle knowing that Brown was never going to join them. They knew he could be the man to end Jarrett’s title reign at Turning Point…

Impact looks really good for this week. I have to tell you you've done a great job of realisticly advances the World Title picture. Things are very interesting to say the least. I have one small qualm though. "The Outsiders" is trademarked by the WWE so TNA wouldn't be able to call the team by that name. As for all the stealings by the WWE, why don't you sign some guys to written contracts? I mean TNA actually has AJ Styles, AMW, Dusty Rhoads, ect. signed to written deals preventing the WWE from taking them.

Yeah I believe you are correct on "The Outsiders" thats my mistake. I have a habit of making sure my past shows are perfect before I continue on in my diaries so don't be surprised to see all references to the Outsiders possibly removed at a later date - *EDIT* has been done, *EDIT* I like the edit button. Guaranteed it won't be used in the future - unless I forget -_-

As for the written contracts idea that was next on my list of things to do following typing and booking this weeks Impact show on EWR. So expect an announcement in future.

Thanks for all the responces so far guys, I have a few more twists and turns yet in the World Title picture to hopefully make it even better - expect "The Narrator" to comment on all ten men in the title match at Turning Point in the future.

Whatever they are I have already gone through the entire diary removing any reference to the Outsiders. The Kings of Wrestling has come since the start date of my diary so is irrelevant unless I add it in. I have been very busy the last two days and I am expecting to be busy over the weekend so I am not sure when the written up Impact will come out. I will write it up as soon as possible.

Cheers

Hey guys, worth noting that this Impact was edited from the spoilers recorded, a shot was repeated to change the whole feel of the opening segment with Abyss locked inside the cage. It would prove to make more sense in the future...

Impact! Results – Friday 26th November 2004

A highlights video played showing the results of last weeks main event with Abyss cleaning house of 3 Live Kru and Jeff Hardy, and seemingly aligning with Jeff Jarrett – whose smiling face faded out the video.

Jeff Jarrett’s Catch

Impact opened with the NWA Heavyweight Champion’s music playing around the arena as he walked out into the aisle with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash…and also a steel cage being pulled behind – with Abyss in!! Jarrett, Hall and Nash had Abyss in a cage! What the hell was going on? Jarrett climbed into the ring as Hall and Nash stayed on the outside with the cage. The champ took a microphone.

Jeff Jarrett: Looks like we caught a monster boys!! And my, my, my what a monster he is! 6 Foot 8, 330 pounds of Abyss! You see Abyss people, he has pledged his allegiance to the Turning Point team. He has proven to me, Kev and Scott that he is a team player – so much so that he AGREED to be locked up inside this cage until the Pay-Per-View itself! Like me, Abyss wants his aggression on the highest possible level…

Jarrett climbed out of the ring and walked up towards the cage as Abyss tilted his head and just looked at the champion standing on the opposite sides of the bars…

Jeff Jarrett: To be on his top form, to be a monster, an unstoppable monster. And to aid me in my quest to retain the NWA Title.

Hall then asked for the microphone and Jarrett passed it over as he continued to look at Abyss.

Scott Hall: Hey yo. You see though that we have only four members of our team out here. Four members on the same page so to speak. I donno about you guys but I want five team players…so Monty Brown! Get yo’ ass out here!

They all paused and waited…nothing seemed to be happening as Hall put the microphone back to his lips – and THEN the music started! It was the Alpha Male! He walked out from the entrance with a microphone…

Monty Brown: Cut my music! When are you all going to realise this?! How many more times do I have to shove my fists into your skulls to make you realize!! HOW MANY?! I am not a team player, I am in this match at Turning Point to be the next NWA Champion!! I will never join YOU!!

Jarrett grabbed back the microphone from Hall.

Jeff Jarrett: Is that so Mr?! You should be supporting the cause like everyone else! What makes you think you are better than…Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Abyss? Is it because you’re the “Alpha Male?” or is it because you wanna be a hero? Well how about you be a hero when you step into the ring against me tonight!

The crowd went wild as Brown looked on with a smile on his face from the entranceway.

Jeff Jarrett: However. If I win Monty, you will HAVE to be a team player at Turning Point and support ME. But if you win, you can do whatever the hell you damm want at that event! You can chase the gold! You can be a one man show! But don’t expect any help from us for you…

Thoughts were clearly running through Brown’s head as Jarrett held out his hand with Nash and Hall shadowing him in the background. Eventually he paced down the aisle and emphatically shook the champion’s hand! The match was on! Brown against Jarrett! Impact went to a break…

80% - Monty Brown gained 3 points of overness from this segment.

-: commercial break :-

Elix Skipper vs. Chris Harris

It was Elix Skipper’s first match after his concussion that he sustained from Chris Harris at Victory Road. He looked to gain some revenge as he jumped Harris midway down the aisle and knocked him down to ringside with some closed fists. Once he got his opponent in the ring Primetime nailed a combination of moves which saw Harris struggling for breath on the mat. He then made the early cover, 1…2…Kick out. Skipper wasn’t going to let Harris get back into the match however and proceeded to take him down with a scissors kick before hooking the leg again, 1…2…Kick out. Harris showed resilience as Skipper headed to the outside of the ring and grabbed a steel chair. Harris struggled back onto his feet…the referee managed to grab the chair away! Catatonic to Skipper! Harris hooked the leg! 1…2…3! Only one move! That was all it took! And Skipper was not happy! After some recovery time he cracked Harris over the head with the steel chair that the referee had confiscated! Shot after shot echoed around the arena and Harris was busted open. The blood was just pouring down his face as the assault continued! Security and medical officers eventually filled the ring as Christopher Daniels joined his partner in the ring to celebrate a truly horrific attack…

Kid Kash Interview

Backstage Shane Douglas was standing by with the K-I-D, Kid Kash. He had his monster Dallas standing behind him.

Shane Douglas: Kid Kash, at Turning Point you have a match against Rowdy Roddy Piper. Do you have any comments for the Impact viewers?

Kid Kash: You’re damm right I have some comments Shane Douglas! You see when your K-I-D arrived in the back earlier today he was horrified to hear a rumour doing the rounds that Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is returning to TNA at Turning Point, to be in that mad piper’s corner! You would have thought that Snuka would have had enough of the K-I-D. But I know that if he does show…it’s not gonna affect ME! I would prefer to have my monster Dallas by my side than some old worn-out Samoan any day! It looks like I am going to have to end two careers in two weeks…Piper and Snuka! Because I promise you, I will do just that.

Kash stormed away from the interview leaving Dallas to get into Shane Douglas’ face before laughing and also walking away.

6-Man Tag Team Match

Team Canada vs. Chris Sabin, Nosawa and Mr. Aguila

Nosawa started the match against Bobby Roode and proved a decent challenge for the Team Canada member as he took him down with a snapmere before nailing a running hurricarana. There was then a quick tag to Mr. Aguila who took down Roode with a twisting neckbreaker, he then headed onto the top rope and missed a 450 splash! Williams made the tag as Aguila managed to tag Chris Sabin into the contest! Both men stopped, and looked at each other across the ring before Williams went to nail Sabin – and missed! Williams was whipped off the ropes as Nosawa jumped into the ring to take out the advancing Eric Young. Aguila followed him and took down Roode with a dropkick! Meanwhile Sabin pulled up the X-Division champion! Future Shock to the champ! 1…2…3! Sabin pinned Williams! But he wasn’t going to hang around! He slid to the outside of the ring and celebrated with Nosawa and Mr. Aguila as an annoyed Petey Williams grabbed a microphone…

Petey Williams: I AM SICK OF THIS! Every week there is no respect! No respect for me the X-Division Champion! No respect for Team Canada! NO RESPECT AT ALL! I am tired of loosing, I have had enough of all this crap!

He continued to babble on until Dusty Rhodes came out with a microphone in hand and interrupted the champion.

Dusty Rhodes: Looks to me, that’s a big crybabee in the ring if you will! I am getting’ pretty fed up of you all whinin’ you know? Week in, week out you are always in ma office bitchin’ about something else. May it be AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Jeff Hardy, International Challenges its always a happenin! And I am sick of it! I am sick of Team Canada! But there will be no more bickering at Turning Point, oh no! You see Bobby Roode and Eric Young, you will be in a match! A Tag Team Flag Match! And if you loooose…YOU’RE FIRED! TEAM CANADA IS GONE!!!

The crowd cheered as Rhodes finished up.

Dusty Rhodes: And your opponents will be theee newest tag team to TNA, THE AMERICAN PATROITS!

The promo video for the Patroits (from Xplosion) started to play on the video screen as Team Canada were shown panicking in the ring. They knew two weeks away could be their end. It all could be over for them at Turning Point.

Posting a Note…

Raven was shown walking around the backstage area of the Impact arena as TNA returned from the commercial break, he was seemingly still looking for the mystery man! He turned a corner and saw in the distance…a man attaching another note to the same door as last time! Raven made haste and turned the man around to face him and the camera…it was Chad Collyer?

Chad Collyer: No, no Raven! It’s not what it looks like!!!

Raven wasn’t looking for excuses as he punched Collyer right in the face! Raven continued to beat him all over the place, he threw Collyer into tables, walls, doors – just anything that could inflict damage to him. This one-sided brawl eventually ended up in the ring where a referee was waiting…and he called for the bell? A match was on?!

71% - Chad Collyer gained 1 point of overness from this segment.

Raven vs. Chad Collyer

Raven whipped Collyer off the ropes and nailed a running bulldog! He raked the skin off Collyer’s face before pulling him up into the Evenflow! 1…2…3. And that was that! That was the simplest win Raven was ever going to get and he looked down over his victim…then the mystery man slid into the ring! He stood behind Raven with another note in hand!!! The crowd were screaming for Raven to turn around! HE DID! Face to face, the mystery man and Raven…but then the lights went out! The Impact arena was plunged into darkness! An eternity passed before the lights came back up to reveal…he was gone! The mystery man had made his escape! And all that was left was a note at Raven’s feet…After a lengthy pause he opened it…and dropped it to the mat before heading backstage?! The camera zoomed in and got the note into focus to reveal:  “Raven, I am the only one who can help you reach your destiny. Turning Point…I shall be there for the revelation, for the unmasking. I shall be there to take you back on the path to DESTINY…”

A Limo Arrives!

Backstage a limo was shown arriving at the arena! The crowd were wild, they all thought it was the replacement for Konnan, the mystery replacement for the title match at Turning Point! The door opened…and the Macho Man stepped out. He was met by Shane Douglas…

Shane Douglas: Randy Savage? I was expecting…

Randy Savage: OH YEAH! You people thought that I would be the mystery man, the last entrant in the Turning Point title equation! Well hell, I ain’t him! But don’t any of you worry ‘cause the Macho Man has it sorted. He will be here NEXT WEEK…and the Macho Man is going to personally escort him right here to Impact!

Savage walked off with a massive grin as Douglas looked as excited as everyone felt…the final man in the 5 on 5 Tag Team Match would be in the house NEXT WEEK!

Tag Team Match

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall vs. Jeff Hardy and Randy Savage

Savage stepped into the ring for his first match in TNA, his partner was Jeff Hardy and their opponents were Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Not an easy in-ring return for the Macho Man at all! But he and Hardy rose to the challenge with some decent attacks on Nash and Hall as the match got underway. The two giants of the tag team division looked on the backfoot as Savage knocked Hall to the outside with a spinning elbow and Hardy dropkicked Nash into the corner. The Macho Man and Hall then took their positions on the apron as Hardy had a whip countered by Big Sexy himself! Nash clotheslined Hardy up into the turnbuckle before monkey tossing him right across the ring! Nash’s assault continued as Savage attempted to get into the ring to help his partner – but that provided a distraction for the referee, and gave Hall the opportunity to aid his partner with a double team clothesline! Hardy was in trouble as Nash hooked the leg, 1…2…Kick out. Savage wasn’t hanging around though and got straight back into the ring and clobbered Nash! The referee attempted to stop the brawling as Hall joined the four-way fight in the ring. Savage took down Nash with a Scoop Slam before knocking Hall over the top rope to the outside! Meanwhile Hardy was on the top rope! Nash was just getting to his feet as Hardy came off with a crossbody! He was caught! And pulled up by Nash into the Jacknife Powerbomb! The referee turned around and made the count, 1…2…3! Nash and Hall had won this contest and celebrated in the ring as Savage pulled his fallen partner out of the ring.

Jeff Jarrett Interview

The cameras quickly cut away from the ring to show NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett standing by with Shane Douglas…

Shane Douglas: Jeff Jarrett, up next is the main event pitting you against your own partner – The Alpha Male Monty Brown. Why are you going to do this? Why are you going to fight your own partner at Turning Point?

Jeff Jarrett: Why? Why Shane Douglas? Have you been hiding under a rock the last few weeks? Monty Brown thinks that this match at Turning Point is his meal ticket to the NWA Title! Well I have news for the “Alpha Male” because he is going to after tonight realize that he is a team player, a team Jarrett player. The team will be unified, the team will be strong and the main aim will be accomplished. I will remain the NWA Champion following the 5 on 5 tag match at Turning Point. I’m just sorry the Alpha Male didn’t want to play it my way…I didn’t want to have to embarrass him tonight.

Jarrett then was distracted suddenly…he looked across from the interview and saw Monty Brown standing next to the entranceway just looking over at him…

Jeff Jarrett: I didn’t want to have to embarrass a member of my team. But I guess it’s the only way…

Impact went to the final commercial break as a staredown across the backstage area between Brown and Jarrett continued.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Monty Brown

The staredown from the previous segment continued in the ring as the referee called for the bell. Both men just looked at each other, neither blinked an eyelid. They both knew this could change their plans for Turning Point drastically…Jarrett got the first shot in however as Brown offered him a free one! It was good but Brown struck back with one that knocked the champion clean off his feet! And NOW it was on! Brown stomped down on Jarrett over and over, he was going to stomp a hole through the champion! Moments later Jarrett went to nail Brown with a clothesline but had it ducked and as a result was nailed with a powerbomb! But Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were running down the aisle! Nash slid into the ring and distracted the referee as Hall slid into the ring from the other side and nailed Brown with the NWA Title belt! He climbed back out of the ring as Jarrett made the cover, 1…2…Jeff Hardy pulled the referee out of the ring! Nash attacked Hardy! Mayhem was breaking out as Savage then ran down to join the brawl on the outside of the ring! 3 Live Kru also joined the brawl! Meanwhile inside Brown was poised against the ropes, Jarrett turned around…THE POUNCE! HE NAILED IT! Brown hooked the leg! The referee slid back into the ring! 1…2…3! BROWN PINNED AND DEFEATED JARRETT! His music burst into life as he looked down at the NWA Championship that had been left after Hall’s attack…He then picked up the belt as 3 Live Kru, Savage and Hardy joined him in the ring. He had defeated the NWA Champion! Nash, Hall and Jarrett backed down the aisle knowing that the Alpha Male would NEVER be on the same page!

TNA was now becoming renowned for setbacks, but this luckily wasn't as major as previous ones - despite making changes to the upcoming Turning Point PPV card...

Nosawa pulls out of Turning Point

Fatal 4 Way X-Division Title Match entrant Nosawa this morning sensationally withdrew his participation in the match at Turning Point. Nosawa was meant to be representing Japan in the four-way challenge but decided that a clashing NOAH event would be a better wrestled venture.

The replacemenf for Nosawa is relative unknown OK Revolution who is expected to wrestle against Petey Williams this week on Impact.

I liked impact i want to see more things develop in the X-division with Petey Williams. I'm not happy about Skipper losing i think Skipper should get a well earned push much like daniels ah well, sue me. Finally Nosawa pulling out is a big set back, i've never heard of O.K. Revolution but mind you i don't really see much of Japan except Liger etc..

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! You can not, under any circumstance, butcher the mic skills of Scott Hall. It's "Hey yo" not "Hey y'all"!!!

I'm not too sure why Brown would agree to a match where he really can't win anything. The title wasn't on the line and if he wins he gets to do what he wants at the ppv in the match. Couldn't he do that anyway, with out beating Jarrett?

The entire show seemed to be a little off to me. I didn't like many of the segments and I really can't see Randy Savage wrestling on free t.v.

However, I much enjoyed the fact that Chad Collyer got some t.v time! This guy is a real studd and I think he would be an excellent X Champ.

Speaking of "X" what was with the lack of X action? The X division is the main reason people watch the show yet we got next to nothing. I'm hoping for a big X Division match for next week.

Now thats the sort of replys I want! Seriously, I do - it means I can make this better.

Firstly, I totally agree Impact was off this week I wasn't entirly happy with the show either but by the time I had posted the spoilers there was no going back - and I wont be making that mistake again.

I apologise for butchering Scott Hall's catchphrase...meh proves I am not very good at promos.

I should have demonstrated more why Monty Brown wanted to fight Jarrett - basically to prove he could beat him, I only went and missed that dialogue out!

Randy Savage probably wouldn't wrestle on free TV and I think the 3 Live Kru or in this case just Killings and James would have been wiser choices.

The X-Division at the moment is in a very stale period in my diary, I know I need to freshen it up and this will start following Turning Point now. More better X-Division workers will be brought in to make sure the true jewel in the crown is back on top form.

Chad Collyer - who knows what the future holds for him?

My heart honestly wasn't entirly in this show this week, I have been busy and it did seem a struggle to write. However I can promise this weeks show will be much, much better. A lot of thought has gone into it and it should play out really well.

Cheers Miami Vice again for pointing that all out.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling:

Impact! Preview – Friday 3rd December 2004

Last week saw Monty Brown pull off a massive win over the NWA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett in a non-title bout, and now it seems that the team of Jarrett, Abyss, Nash and Hall are going to have to come to the realization that the Alpha Male will never support “the cause” and is only heading into Turning Point for one thing…to leave as the champion. No matter how difficult it will be for Brown you can not rule him out of pulling off the impossible – he has done it before. Meanwhile while the “heel” team has problems the challengers are rather a group of unknowns, there has been seemingly no problems from inside their team – but who knows what is really going on? This week there will be a pre-taped interview shown with all 9 men being interviewed together about the title match at Turning Point, and it is sure to set a few things straight on BOTH sides of the war…

This week also sees another massive preview match for Turning Point as the main event is a 6 Man Tag Match containing six of the nine announced men in the PPV title match. It will be the champ Jeff Jarrett teaming up with Nash and Hall once again to face…Jeff Hardy, BG James and Ron “The Truth” Killings. Expect this match not to remain clean knowing the other factors involved with these six men…

Also! The debut of Konnan’s replacement! The Macho Man promised last week that he would personally accompany the final wrestler in the 5 on 5 Title match at Turning Point to this weeks Impact…we all will finally find out who the final piece of the puzzle is. I know I cannot wait to see what Savage has in store for us, and no doubt it will be big.

Last week Raven destroyed Chad Collyer who was caught planting a note for the mystery man backstage…following a short match the mystery man made an appearance and just slipped the grasp of Raven before dropping another of his famed notes. It said how he would reveal himself at Turning Point – but what does Raven think of this? He will be interviewed this week and who is to know what to expect from this whole situation as it unwraps further…

Chris Harris was left a broken mess following his win over the returning Primetime Elix Skipper last week…he apparently blamed a lot of the attack on James Storm who failed to come to his partner’s aid in the vicious assault. Harris is set to confront Storm and you can bet that XXX will take advantage of this split in the ranks…

After Chris Sabin, Nosawa and Mr. Aguila had pulled out a decent win over Team Canada it became apparent mid-week that Nosawa was abandoning his X-Division Championship shot representing Japan at Turning Point due to other commitments. His replacement OK Revolution will this week step up against the X Champion Petey Williams in a non-title singles match. Williams has been on a loosing streak of late and he will defiantly want this to come to an end before this Sunday…can the inexperience of OK Revolution aid the Team Canada member to a win? Find out Friday…

Last week both teams of Johnny B. Badd/Pat Kenney and the New York Connection were given the week off. But this week Dusty Rhodes wants them both at Impact…so B. Badd and Kenney will face D-Ray 3000 and Shark Boy in tag team action. I for one expect the NYC to get involved in this match.

Plus! Kid Kash and Rowdy Roddy Piper are both scheduled to be in the arena just days away from their singles match at Turning Point!

Also don’t miss the American Patriots in-ring debut against the Naturals!

I think I have a good idea of who is going to be the 5th guy. I'll just say that both "Bas Ass" and "Billy Gunn" are trademarked by the WWE so he can't work under either of those names.

IMO the best match at Turning Point will be the 6 sides of steel. Because of that I'm really hoping that you give that feud proper t.v time this week.

The card looks really good. I'm especially interested in the debut of the American Patriots. I'm curiouse to see what type of style they wrestle with.

No comment about the 5th wrestler but I do realise that certain wrestlers would have trademark problems to consider. I have planned out for the Six Sides of Steel hype to be reasonable this week in comparison with everything else, call it two segments. The Patriots match won't give much away on Impact expect more from Turning Point where I will be writing out full matches.

Impact! Spoilers – Friday 3rd December 2004

Hey all, I’m Harriet from Jacksonville and I travelled all the way to Orlando for this weeks action with Impact and Turning Point! I thought I would post the spoilers for you all, and OH MY GOD the mystery entrant at Turning Point was revealed!!!

Results:

A limo was shown arriving on the video screen as Impact started and the Macho Man got out, he turned around and talked to the unseen passenger alongside and told him to come out when he is ready. He then headed off backstage as security surrounded the limo, he also said something to the camera which I didn’t catch.

Tag Team Match

American Patriots def. The Naturals

The Patriots opened up their TNA careers with an easy win over the Naturals. They won after one of the Patriots hit a Razors Edge while the other caught a top rope legdrop (at the same time). JB announced to the audience that the double team move was called the “Golden Eagle” and it did look pretty sweet. Then Team Canada ran down from the back and cleared the ring of the Patriots before waving their Canadian Flags all around the ring…

Backstage Raven was interviewed by Shane Douglas. Except he gave up on the interview idea and just talked. He said how he wasn’t going to find the mystery man before Sunday and was going to have to wait. Raven then said he thought he knew who the mystery man was and that he needed to do some thinking about what he was going to do about it. He then left the arena as the camera checked on the limo…which was still surrounded by security.

Then we saw a backstage segment with AMW arguing, Chris Harris was annoyed with James Storm not helping him last week. Then XXX came in and challenged AMW to come and face them tonight inside the Six Sides of Steel – that was set up backstage. They just admitted they couldn’t wait till Sunday.

Tag Team Match

Johnny B. Badd and Pat Kenney def. Shark Boy and D-Ray 3000

Short match with Kenney picking up the pin over D-Ray after an Inverted DDT. Following the match there was an exchange in words between the NYC and Badd/Kenney. Kenney said how he used to be the best with Gilberti and Swinger but would now win the gold back and become the best with Badd…

A brawl was then shown happening backstage! It was Kid Kash and Rowdy Roddy Piper just fighting all over the place. Kash nailed Piper with the smashmouth before Dallas got involved and rammed Piper twice into the wall head-first. TNA’s director of authority then suspended Kash and Dallas until Turning Point and helped Piper up as they were led away by security.

Non-Championship Match

Petey Williams def. OK Revolution

Williams won after Revolution was caught during an Asai Moonsault attempt off the apron. He was then rammed head-first into a ring post and was taken out for the 10 count ring-out. Following the match Sabin and Aguila ran down to aid Revolution…Sabin then climbed into the ring and had a heated argument with the X-Division Champion. That resulted in the champion getting the Future Shock!

The video screen then showed AMW heading towards the Six Sides of Steel set up backstage, they brawled inside the structure with XXX until Harris was thrown into the cage and started to cough up blood. He was still hurt from the week before. Storm was nailed with the Play of the Day onto the concrete floor and Triple X now looked the stronger as they walked out of the structure. Both members of AMW were down hurt and medical officers had to come to their aid.

Jeremy Borash then came on the microphone and announced that a pre-taped interview between both of the teams for the Turning Point title match would be playing in this shot on Friday’s show. He said how it hadn’t been conducted yet but would be added, thus watch the show as well as being here basically…

6-Man Tag Team Match

Jeff Hardy and 3 Live Kru def. Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall

Hardy got the pin for his team after Savage interfered and took out Jarrett with his own title belt. A brawl broke out after the match and this saw Abyss released from his cage! He took down many of the opposite team and they were struggling against Jarrett’s stronger team! Monty Brown then ran down and was also taken out by Abyss…

A camera backstage showed the limo door was now open with no-one inside!!! Then back in the ring someone was running down the aisle! IT WAS DDP! DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE WAS THE FINAL ENTRANT! Diamond Cutter to Jarrett! Diamond Cutter to Hall! He knocked Nash to the outside as Abyss went for the Black Hole Slam, he ducked it and nailed the Diamond Cutter to Abyss! He then aided his fellow team members up in the ring (including Brown) as Jarrett, Hall, Nash and Abyss all stumbled into the aisle.

The faces looked stronger with Turning Point this Sunday! And DDP was the final piece in the puzzle! What a show!

Impact! Results – Friday 3rd December 2004

Impact opened without an introduction video as the cameras went straight to the backstage area…

A Limo Arrives

A big black limo drew up through the doors and parked up right next to the camera. The Macho Man climbed out and turned to face back inside…

Randy Savage: Now man, you come out whenever the time is right. Don’t feel pressured to run out now and kick some ass, you and me both know that you are the defining moment on tonight’s show…take your time, and I’ll see you later.

Savage went to walk away before he stopped an shouted something else…

Randy Savage: Oh, and don’t worry about anyone bothering you man. I have made sure security will have your back…guys!

As Savage called out around ten security guards came into shot, they all took positions around the limo as the Macho Man then turned to the camera…

Randy Savage: Ooooohhh yeah! I promised you people that he would be here next week…and he is just inside that limo. And I promise you this man is going to knock your socks off!!

80%

Tag Team Match

The Naturals vs. The American Patriots

It was the debut for the American Patriots and they started off their TNA career in great fashion. Both men wore the red, white and blue bodysuits and there was only the difference in height to differentiate between the two tag partners. Patriot 1 started (the taller one) the match against Chase Stevens and after a small starting blip took the advantage in the match. He clobbered Stevens with hard kicks and a big boot before making the tag to Patriot 2 – who climbed into the ring and scored with some hard chops across Stevens’ chest. He managed to make the tag to Douglas as Patriot 1 was also tagged back into the contest. An exchange in offence led to Stevens being knocked off the apron by his own partner! Then Patriot 2 climbed up onto the top rope while Patriot 1 pulled up Douglas for a Razors Edge! He nailed it as Patriot 2 came off with a top rope leg drop! Mike Tenay commented on how that was their “Golden Eagle” double-team move as Patriot 1 made the cover, 1…2…3. The Patriots had won their first match! But before they had chance to celebrate Team Canada had slid into the ring! Roode and Young knocked both Patriots to the outside of the ring! They then proceeded to wave their Canadian flags in the ring as the men who could end their TNA careers this Sunday headed to the back.

Raven Interview

As Impact returned from the commercial break Shane Douglas was standing by ready to interview a pacing Raven…

Shane Douglas: Raven…Raven! How would you classify your current status with the mystery man?

Raven: How would I classify my current status with the mystery man? I’ll tell you what Shane Douglas, how about you stop asking stupid meaningless questions to me and just give me the microphone…

Raven grabs the microphone and shoves Douglas to one side...

Raven: Mystery Man! It looks like you have won, you are obviously not going to show up here tonight and grace me with your presence. So for once in my life I am going to concede defeat to the powers which I wish to have control of…mystery. I will wait till Turning Point to meet you now. And as it happens I think I have a very good idea of who you are…but despite this I still don’t understand why you are promising me my destiny?! In my intertwined mind I just can’t seem to get a straight response to that statement, I need to leave…now and delve into the darkest corners of the Abyss that is...me. Who knows what I’ll find? But I know by the time Turning Point comes around…I will have an answer to you! Quote the Raven…Nevermore.

Raven passed the microphone to Douglas and proceeded to walk of backstage…he was leaving the arena! Raven had given up, he realized he would now have to wait till Turning Point to come face to face with the Mystery Man.

As Raven walked out of the door to the outside of the arena the camera turned to focus on the limo. The security were still positioned around it as some TNA superstars like BG James and Jeff Hardy were seen surveying it and talking from a distance…

92% - Raven gained 4 points of overness from this segment.

AMW’s Problems

The director cut away from this scene to the locker room where James Storm was sitting down reading a magazine…when Chris Harris stormed in.

Chris Harris: Where the hell have you been?!

James Storm: What are you going on about…

Chris Harris: Well firstly James I was assaulted last week following my match and you did not come to help me, secondly I at least expected to see you at the hospital and thirdly you haven’t returned my calls all week! I mean man I…we can’t be doing with this crap from you with the Six Sides of Steel this Sunday!

The sound of a door slamming was heard off-camera before Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper came into shot…

Christopher Daniels: (laughing) Sorry to interrupt guys but me and Primetime thought we had better come along and say hi…

Chris Harris: Well if that’s all you’ve got to say then get out (points at Daniels and Skipper), we will see you both Sunday…

Elix Skipper: It’s not that simple AMW, you two punk ass bitches caused me to get concussed at Victory Road and I still ain’t happy even wit the retribution last week or not!

Christopher Daniels: That’s right fellas, you see we have a little challenge for you both tonight. We got the backstage crew here tonight to erect the Six Sides of Steel backstage…you see we can’t wait till this Sunday. We want to take this to the next level and if you’ve got the balls we shall be waiting…Come on Elix.

Primtime smiled as Harris looked concerned…Storm continued to read his magazine with no seeming interest in what was going on at all…

56% - Chris Harris lost 2 points of overness from this segment.

Tag Team Match

Johnny B. Badd and Pat Kenney vs. Shark Boy and D-Ray 3000

Back out at ringside a tag match was about to get underway as Shark Boy and Pat Kenney were in the ring ready to wrestle. Both men locked up as the referee called for the bell and Shark Boy took the early advantage with a headlock into a whip off the ropes. He had a clothesline attempt ducked by Kenney who then walked straight into a rollup! 1…2…Kick out. He continued to struggle as D-Ray 3000 was tagged into the match, but then from nowhere he got a few shots in and nailed D-Ray with a Inverted DDT! He hooked the leg, 1…2…3. Another win for B. Badd and Kenney who were now looking very good for their title match at Turning Point…As the two men were celebrating a voice came from the aisle.

Glenn Gilberti: Good job boys! That was a nice win for you both right there. Puts you in good stead for this Sunday, right?

Gilberti headed down closer to the ring as his tag partner Johnny Swinger followed close behind.

Glenn Gilberti: So…Pat. How’s things? I mean you know man we used to be close, closer than brothers. I actually was just wondering what it was like to be on a team without gold…because with Johnny Very Badd you don’t seem to be doing much at all.

Kenney quickly grabbed a microphone.

Pat Kenney: Glenn, Shut it! I’ll tell you something man…you can always go on about the past and how we used to be the best tag team here in TNA because sure as hell we were. But we didn’t deserve to be the best, we cheated to get what we had and right now you and Johnny don’t deserve to be classified as “the best”. And sure we used to be as close as brothers Glenn, but now we’re not and I will take no discomfort in knocking that cheap smile right from your disgusting face. Me and Johnny B. Badd? We are going to arrive at Turning Point with nothing…and leave with everything we have ever wanted. And there’s nothing you or Johnny can do about it. See you Sunday.

Kenney’s music started up as the NYC decided it was time for them to head to the back. Swinger and Gilberti left in mid-conference, they knew they needed a decent gameplan because Pat Kenney and Johnny B. Badd were coming for their tag team titles at Turning Point.

Winners: Johnny B. Badd and Pat Kenney

Time: 3:56

Match Rating:  *1/2

63% - 54% - 73% - Pat Kenney is losing overness because of his weak gimmick.

A Heated Confrontation

A brawl was breaking out backstage as TNA returned from the commercial break! The camera was shaking as the cameraman attempted to catch up to the action…it was Kid Kash and Rowdy Roddy Piper! They were just beating the hell out of each other! Kash grabbed a steel chair after hitting a low blow on Piper…the Smashmouth! Holy hell! Piper was in trouble as Dallas then joined the assault! It was now 2 on 1 as Dallas pulled up Piper and rammed him head-first into a wall! Kash was calling the shots as Dallas pulled up Piper again and rammed him into the wall for a second time! Masses of security then surrounded the situation and separated up the brawl…Dusty Rhodes came into shot.

Dusty Rhodes: Kid Kash, Dallas! You both are to go home! Don’t come back till Sunday!!! YOU ARE BOTH SUSPENDED UNTIL TURNING POINT! Now get them the hell out of here!!

Kash protested as Dallas attempted to fight out of a five man hold…they were both led away as Piper was helped up by Rhodes – not in the best of condition.

Rowdy Roddy Piper: I’m gonna get that little punk this Sunday Dusty, you can bet your life on that. This braveheart never stops piping!

The shot faded out from Pipers face and went to a Turning Point video hyping the confrontation between Raven and the Mystery Man…

Non-Championship Match

Petey Williams vs. OK Revolution

It was OK Revolution’s TNA debut and he started not on the best of terms as Petey Williams looked to have a renewed strength – which he had been missing over the last few weeks. He nailed Revolution with a German Suplex before having the Japanese wrestler kick out just after two from the proceeding pin. This then went and lit a fire under Revolution who nailed some hard slaps before running off the ropes and planting a running crossbody – which with the momentum took Williams through the ropes to the outside of the ring! Revolution then called for something and climbed onto the apron for an Asai Moonsault…he didn’t nail it as Williams caught him on his shoulder and rammed him into the ring post! Revolution just hit the floor in a bundle and didn’t move. This made the referee start a ring-out count…1…2…3…Williams rolled back into the ring…4…5…6…7…8…9…10. Revolution looked clean out cold on the outside, the X-Division champion had won this match by count-out after he had rammed the newest addition to the TNA roster into the ring post. Chris Sabin and Mr. Aguila ran down to ringside and aided up the injured Revolution on the outside as Williams looked on from the ring. As Aguila continued to help Revolution to the back Sabin slid into the ring! He started to shout at Williams and pointed to the injured Nosawa replacement as he was being helped back down the aisle. This angered the X-Division champion who struck Sabin…and was then nailed with a Future Shock for his troubles!! Sabin eyed up the X-Division belt before leaving Williams down in the ring, he was going to have a hard time Sunday at retaining his belt…

Six Sides Preview!

Backstage Chris Harris was walking in front of James Storm as AMW were seemingly on their way to meet Triple X inside the Six Sides of Steel…they turned the corner and halted as Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper were seen taunting them from inside the structure…they made their way into the cage and a brawl broke out between the two teams! Harris threw Daniels into the steel cage as Storm was taken down with a scoop slam onto the concrete! This left Harris and Skipper to brawl for the moment – and Primtime took advantage of this with a kick to the face before throwing Harris into the cage! He was now bleeding from the mouth – obviously his injuries from the week previous were still there! Storm stumbled back to help his partner but walked straight into the Play of the Day…and that was that. XXX stood over AMW inside the steel structure as medical officers stormed the cage to aid the fallen tag team. It was high fives between Daniels and Skipper as they walked out of shot…leaving Harris coughing up blood and Storm down not moving. AMW had been easily taken down here, what would that say for Sunday!

The Interview – Team Jarrett vs. Team Hardy

Back out at ringside Mike Tenay was standing by with a microphone in hand…

Mike Tenay: Ladies and gentlemen we now have an Impact exclusive to play for you all. This week I sat down with nine men who are all going to be featuring in this Sunday’s NWA Heavyweight Championship match for an exclusive interview. Roll the footage.

Tenay faded out as a video started to play with all nine of the men involved at Turning Point sitting inside the ring (bar Abyss who was standing still locked inside the cage), they were separated by Tenay who sat in the middle.

Mike Tenay: I want to thank you all for coming to this interview and want also to remind you all that this is just that, an interview. It is your forum to air your views about this Sunday and we don’t want this to turn into a brawl…Now I suppose I had better start with you Double J, NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett. This Sunday you defend your title against effectively everyone on either sides of the team, what do you have to say to that?

Jeff Jarrett: Well Mike Tenay what I have to say to that is that you are wrong. I am going to just have to keep my head down and defend against five men…those wrestlers sitting right opposite. Because the men behind me…they are all supporting the cause to see me retain my championship and walk out of Turning Point with the gold still around my waist…

In the background Monty Brown was seen standing up…and he left the interview! Tenay attempted to reason with the Alpha Male but he just climbed through the ropes and headed back up the aisle to the back.

Jeff Jarrett: There goes Mike the only man who didn’t want to support the cause…

Mike Tenay: But he did defeat you last week Jeff, he proved to himself he should be the champion and he could leave Turning Point as the champion you know!

Jarrett was ready to say something when Nash took the microphone.

Kevin Nash: What are the odds Mike Tenay! If the Alpha Male wants to be the champ he is going to have to effectively defeat nine other guys for it! He may be a decent wrestler – but there is no way he is going through me, Hall, Abyss and Jarrett because we are a team…and he is just the odd man out.

Mike Tenay: Anyway moving on to your opponents, Randy Savage, BG James, Ron “The Truth” Killings and Jeff Hardy. Now guys its not going to be an easy task to take the gold away from Double J this Sunday, especially with Konnan’s situation affecting your gameplan…

Randy Savage: Mike Tenay! Konnan is in our thoughts right now but his leaving has not affected our gameplan at all! You see the Macho Man is always ready for every curve ball thrown, for every situation unforeseen. The replacement hand picked by me will be strong enough to walk into the team and just kick all the oppositions asses! OOOOOH YEAH!!!!

Hardy then directed the microphone to him.

Jeff Hardy: This is directed to you Jeff Jarrett. Last month at Victory Road you, Nash and Hall screwed me out of winning the title I deserved. This time I know for sure who’s on my side and even if I don’t capture the gold…someone else here will. And your reign of crap will come to an end.

He paused…

Jeff Hardy: May it be BG James, Ron “The Truth” Killings, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage, The Mystery Entrant or Jeff Hardy – one of us will leave Turning Point as the champion and that is my promise to you!

Hardy then stood up and pointed to the gold that Jarrett was holding before also making his way backstage. Tenay turned to the champ who was deep in thought. He stood up…

Jeff Jarrett: This interview is over, come on boys…

They stood up and went to leave as Impact went to another commercial break.

6-Man Tag Team Match

Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall vs. Jeff Hardy and 3 Live Kru

Scott Hall started for his team against Ron Killings and he took the early advantage with a few punches before making an early tag to “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash. They whipped the Truth off the ropes and knocked him down with a double clothesline before Nash continued the assault alone. Killings was desperately attempting to tag in anyone from his corner as Nash pulled him up and planted the Jacknife Powerbomb! He hooked the leg only for BG James to break up the count just after one. He nailed his combination of punches on Nash before knocking him into the corner, Jarrett tagged into the contest as the referee pushed James to the ropes. Hardy then just managed to tag the Truth’s back as Double J whipped him off the ropes…Killings ducked his clothesline attempt and Jarrett turned around into a spinning heel kick from Hardy! The challenger for the title from Victory Road started to beat the hell out of the champ before Abyss started to kick up a fuss inside the cage. He was smacking the bars and attempting to pull them open! – which distracted the referee. And allowed the Macho Man Randy Savage to slid into the ring with the NWA Title! Nash and Hall were distracted by Abyss on the outside! Savage nailed Jarrett with the belt and Hardy made the cover! The referee slid back into the ring! 1…2…3! Jarrett had lost again! But there was no time for celebrations as Nash and Hall started to brawl with 3 Live Kru on the outside…and then Abyss broke the bars on the cage!!! He tore the bars off! Abyss was now free and he climbed into the ring…Black Hole Slam to Hardy! James rolled into the ring and got planted with the Black Hole Slam also! The Truth attempted to fight Abyss and was whipped off the ropes…Black Hole Slam! But here was the Alpha Male! He slid into the ring and nailed the Pounce on Jarrett! But he was then given the Sit-Down Torture Rack by Abyss! Team Jarrett were in control and beating down on the challengers as the cameras went backstage to view the limo…which had the door open!!
