Hour 19

Day 1

1800 to 1900

The sun was starting to set, casting a pretty orange/purple glow over the island. Had the circumstances surrounding his visit to the island been different, Tazz might have enjoyed it.

In front of him were three men, Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Vader. Oddly enough, they looked surprised to see him. He didn’t understand. Didn’t they just try to rob him a few minutes ago?

Meanwhile, Bischoff’s voice came booming over the island, announcing the deaths of Low Ki (Wrestler #23), Test (Wrestler #42), D’Lo Brown (Wrestler #13) and Jonathan Coachman (Wrestler #19). Next came the forbidden zones, which Dreamer quickly marked down.

Tazz wasn’t sure what was going on. Had they returned to finish him off? Or had they gotten disorientated, and had stumbled upon him again by accident?

“Relax.” It was Terry Funk, “We’re not here to fight.”

“Oh really?” Tazz shot back, “Then why did you take my weapon?”

Vader: “Take your weapon? Why would we do that?”

Tazz: “Then who did?”

Dreamer: “Trust us; we’re not trying to deceive you or anything.”

Vader: “Yeah, we just found you standing here.”

Tazz: “Fine. But if you aren’t going to attack me, then what are you going to do? Just walk past and pretend you never saw me?”

Funk: “Woah, calm down. We’re not playing the game; we’re trying to find a way to escape.”

Tazz thought about it for a moment. He had been eager to accept his fate and play the game. The possibility of escape had not crossed his mind. While it seemed unlikely, the more he considered it, the more likely it seemed. “So what’s the plan?” he said at last.

Vader: “Well…uh.”

Funk: “We were hoping you could come up with one.”

Tazz sighed. For a moment, he had gotten his hopes up for nothing. But still, the thought of escaping intrigued him. Perhaps, just maybe, he could come up with a plan, and save them all from this mess.

Tazz: “Alright. I’m in.”

---

Zach Gowen limped into the hospital. He needed a place to hide, and here was as good as any. He turned around, spotting Shaggy 2 Dope in the distance, still chasing after him. He quickened his pace, as 2 Dope crashed into the hospital, hot on his heels.

He knocked over several pieces of furniture, hoping to slow 2 Dope down, but he simply plowed through them like nothing was there. He was fueled by hate alone, and nothing could stop him now, especially when he was this close to killing the bastard that turned him into a freak. Gowen was already getting desperate, trying desperately to find an escape route.

He ran up the staircase, going all the way to the third floor. Peeking over the railing, he saw 2 Dope in hot pursuit. Quickly, Zach Gowen grabbed a nearby cabinet and pushed it down the staircase, blocking the path. 2 Dope simply climbed over it, as Gowen shoved a chest of drawers down. He barely moved out of the way as the drawers crashed next to him.

He finally reached the top of the staircase, where he spotted Zach Gowen ducking into an office. It was nicely decorated, complete with a full wall window looking out upon the residential area. Panicking, Zach Gowen grabbed several items off the desk and hurled it at 2 Dope. Shaggy 2 Dope simply smiled, knowing that Gowen was trapped.

Gowen tried to lure 2 Dope around the desk, which would allow him to run around the other side and escape. No such luck. 2 Dope simply stood by the entrance, waiting for Gowen to make his move. Retrieving his golf club, he advanced towards the one legged man.

Tenacious Z soon found himself backed up against the glass wall. With nowhere to go, all he could do was watch 2 Dope slowly closed in on his position. Toying with his victim, 2 Dope swung his golf club at Gowen’s prosthetic leg, causing Gowen to lose his balance. He quickly made a move for his foot, but 2 Dope playfully kicked it aside. Gowen had no choice but to stand on his remaining leg, leaning against the wall for balance. All he could do was watch in horror as 2 Dope raised his 5 iron, smacking it into the window. He tumbled backwards, as shards of glass rained down upon him, cutting his face. As he fell out the window, he made a last ditch grab for the ledge.

Bits of glass cut into his fingers, but he gripped the ledge tightly, knowing he would die if he let go. Meanwhile, Shaggy 2 Dope cheerfully retrieved Gowen’s leg, waving it above him, making sure that Gowen could clearly see what would cause him his life.

“This is for my face, you one legged bitch!”

With that, he brought the leg down hard on Gowen’s face, instantly breaking his nose. He continued to ram it into his head again and again, but Gowen refused to let go. After half a minute of intense smashing, 2 Dope finally cracked the leg over Zach Gowen’s fingers, breaking all four of them at the same time.

Dangling from the window, with only one hand stopping him from plummeting to his doom, Zach Gowen looked up at the deformed Shaggy 2 Dope. The last thing he ever saw was the malice in his eyes, the excitement of dealing out this twisted sense of justice. The next thing he saw was his leg flying right towards his face, knocking him off the building.

He screamed as he fell three stories to the ground, where he landed on his head, instantly breaking his neck. He was dead even before his prosthetic leg hit the ground.

Hour 20

Day 1

1900 to 2000

BG James was huddled in a corner, clinging on to his shotgun as though his life depended on it. In a way, it probably did. He had heard the shouting and the screaming and he was scared out of his wits. He thought he had seen a figure fly past the window, but he guess it was just the atmosphere causing his eyes to play tricks on him. Had he known that the figure was Zach Gowen falling to his doom, he might not have been so calm.

---

Just above him, Shaggy 2 Dope peered over the side of the ledge, taking a look at Zach Gowen’s body. Judging from the deformed position of his limbs, 2 Dope assumed he was dead. Whistling to himself, he turned around, grabbing his golf club. He felt satisfied, but now that he had had his revenge, he felt empty, without a purpose. He soon remedied it by promising to have even more fun with his next kill.

Unfortunately, his knife was still stuck in Gowen’s leg, which now laid three stories below him. While he still had his golf club, it was significantly less useful in the narrow corridors, which hindered his ability to swing it at someone.

He wasn’t too concerned about it though. After all, this was a hospital. There was bound to be some weapons lying around somewhere. Leaving the office, he went through several rooms, searching for some sharp and deadly.

He eventually settled on a pack of scalpels. While the blades weren’t very big, it would do for now, at least until he got back his knife. Stuffing the scalpels into his pocket, he made his way downstairs.

As he walked down the first flight of stairs, the plaster next to him suddenly exploded. He barely had time to duck before two more gunshots rang out, blowing a huge chunk in the wall. He quickly made a mad dash for it, as several more gunshots rang out behind him.

He reached a junction, a quickly headed down the better lit path. Rather than running any further, he entered one of the wards. Hopefully, his attacker would head down the dark section of the hospital, and get himself lost.

---

Roddy Piper was too smart to do that. Rather than to give chase, he raised his GLOCK and fired repeatedly down the corridor. Once it ran out of ammo, he repeated the process again with his Desert Eagle.

While Shaggy 2 Dope was nowhere near the line of fire, BG James wasn’t so lucky. He took cover as several bullet holes appeared on the opposite wall, getting stuck in the cheap plaster. Panicking, he let loose with his shotgun, firing rapidly at the other wall. While Piper was too far away to be hurt, he could certainly hear the sound of BG James furiously going at it with the shotgun. By the time he was done, he had blown away a sizeable chunk of wall.

For a moment Piper stood there, debating if he should give chase. While he wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible, the area was dark, and it would be easy to fall victim to an ambush. He decided against it, thinking that it was better to leave now and fight another day. Taking one last glance down the corridor, he started to walk away, reloading his pistols.

Meanwhile, BG James was crouched behind the bed, listening for any signs of an attack. Upon hearing nothing, he started to push the bed away. It was too dangerous to stay here. While he had no idea how he had been found out, now that his position was compromised he had to get away, and fast. Grabbing his shotgun, he unlocked the door and began to run down the corridor. He bumped into the same table again, but he didn’t care. All he knew was that he had to get out of this madhouse.

---

Ron Killings woke up to the sound of gunfire. He looked at Konnan, who was still sleeping. Wondering if BG James had gotten into trouble, he grabbed his Ingram Mac and pushed the door open, taking a look outside.

When he realized that BG James was nowhere in sight, Killings panicked. Had he been the cause of the gunfire? Or had he simply taken off, upon hearing this spot was going to become a forbidden zone? Having missed the last announcement, he and Konnan were in a difficult situation. Unless they found the necessary information quickly, it would be all too easy for them to wander into another danger zone.

He paused for a moment, debating his options. If there were people still in the hospital, it meant that it was unlikely to be a danger zone any time soon. All he had to do was find someone, and persuade him to update them on the latest information. Hopefully, that someone would be BG James.

He shook Konnan vigorously, slapping him lightly on the cheek a few times. Konnan sleepily opened his eyes, looking at Killings in a puzzled manner.

“What happened?” Konnan asked, rubbing his eyes.

Killings: “I don’t know. I’ve been hearing shooting all over the place, and BG James has gone missing.”

Konnan: “Aw man, he had my shotgun. Do you think he’s ok?”

Killings: “I hope so. In any case, we better go look for him. Can you walk?”

Konnan: “I think so. Give me a hand here.”

Killings extended his hand, helping Konnan to his feet. Konnan stumbled about, before regaining his balance. He tried flexing his muscles, and soon discovered that as long as he refrained from stretching about too much, the pain in his chest was tolerable. Picking up the Colt .45, he pushed the door open, heading outside in search of his lost comrade. Killings took one last glance around the room, making sure they hadn’t left anything behind.

Killings: “Wait.”

Konnan turned around, as Killings walked back into the room, retrieving BG James’ kit bag. He opened it, checking its contents. Nothing was missing, which meant that BG James hadn’t abandoned them.

But if he hadn’t left the hospital, then where was he?

OOOOOHHHH....

If Roddy Piper's walked away, presumably out of the hospital, and BG James has ran out of the hospital, that leaves a hiding Shaggy 2 Dope, Ron Killings and Konnan.

Since Ron Killings and Konnan die pretty soon, I predict Shaggy 2 Dope to kill them both with teh scalpel of doom~!

By the way, I think the dedication you've shown so far is absolutely amazing. 20 hours written out in absolute detail... Awesome.

Final Four: Vince McMahon, New Jack, Mick Foley, ??? ('Tis open to anybody)

Note: Final Four aren't necessarily in order.

That post made no sense what-so-ever. Firstly, you say you hope Nunzio kills New Jack, since Nunzio<New Jack. So, you're basically saying you hope Nunzio kills New Jack because New Jack is better than Nunzio? And the strikeout'ed comment makes no sense in comparison to you're previous statement either, probably you just trying to make a joke.

Hour 21

Day 1

2000 to 2100

Nightfall had come again, spreading a wave of darkness over the island. It comforted Nunzio, knowing that it would reduce the chances of New Jack catching sight of him. However, it also made New Jack harder to follow. He wrapped his arms around himself, shivering from both the temperature and fear. He had to get rid of New Jack before daybreak. There was no way in Nunzio’s mind that he was going to spend another day with this psycho killer. He had already planned out how he was going to get New Jack killed. All he needed was for him to get into another fight.

He scrutinized New Jack’s every movement, ensuring that he staid out of his line of sight at all times. However, he knew that even the slightest mistake could cost him his life. This knowledge left Nunzio tense, which he knew would lead to carelessness on his part. It was a never ending cycle.

Meanwhile, New Jack suddenly cocked his head to the side, as though he had just heard something. Nunzio listened too, but he couldn’t hear anything. Was New Jack just messing around with him? Either way, New Jack was starting to move off again, this time towards the sound of the noise. Nunzio had no choice but to follow, as New Jack set off in pursuit of another victim.

---

Shane Douglas let out a battle cry, rushing forward towards his target. Arn Anderson had barely time to turn around when Douglas brought the axe crashing down, aiming to chop his victim right in half. Rather than back away, Anderson moved in close to Douglas, so that he was struck by the wooden handle rather than the axe itself.

Rubbing his wounded shoulder, Anderson wished he hadn’t discarded his weapon. He grabbed Douglas’ hand, forcing the axe away from his head. For a few minutes the two men struggled to gain control of the axe, before Shane Douglas eventually kicked Arn in the gut, causing him to lose his grip.

Douglas wasted no time, rushing up close and raising his axe. However, attacking at point blank range only allowed Anderson to harmlessly shove him away. Anderson leapt on top of Douglas, pummeling him with his fists. His hands were getting stained with the blood pouring from Douglas’ nose, but he hardly cared.

Unfortunately, he had let his guard down. Douglas, still clinging on to the axe, furiously beat Arn Anderson with it. Unfortunately, the axe was face the wrong way wrong, so all he could do was bludgeon Arn until he let go. Eventually, the pain was too much for Arn to take, so he got up, releasing Douglas from his grip. However, he wasn’t done yet, as he began to stomp on Douglas’ body, as the Franchise writhed about in the mud.

Eventually, Douglas managed to roll out of the way, and get back on his feet, only to have Arn Anderson make a lunge for the axe. Wrenching his arm, Arn easily managed to force Douglas to drop the axe. He bent down to grab it, but Shane Douglas, taking advantage of the moment, quickly jumped on top of Anderson, locking him in a sleeper hold.

He tightened the grip, preventing Anderson from breathing. Arn trashed about wildly, trying to free himself from the hold. He charged backwards, ramming Douglas into a tree, succeeding in buying himself a few gasps of air before Douglas reapplied the hold. No matter how his twisted or turned, he could not find a way to escape.

He kicked wildly at Douglas’ feet, hoping to trip him, but Douglas stood his ground. Raising his hands to Douglas’ face, Anderson finally managed to free himself by sticking a finger into Douglas’ eye.

The Franchise screamed, as blood gushed out from his eye socket. It was followed by bits of white jelly, which Anderson assumed to be the remains of his eyeball. He hit him hard in the face, knocking Douglas to the ground. Seeing as he didn’t get up, Arn retrieved his axe. The most Douglas could manage was to spit on Anderson’s shoe.

Suddenly, Anderson felt something pierce through his stomach. Looking down, he saw the tip of a sword protruding from his abdomen. Before he could turn around, he felt his neck being torn open. His attacker pulled the blade out of his body, as Arn Anderson fell to the floor in a crumpled heap, dead.

New Jack looked at the bodies of Shane Douglas and Arn Anderson. While he had missed Douglas, he had arrived just in time to finish Anderson off. He plunged his sword into Anderson one more time just for the heck of it, before yanking it out and walking back into the darkness from which he came.

Nunzio, having witnessed the gruesome execution of Arn Anderson, started to grow more and more worried. New Jack had dispatched Anderson in a matter of seconds, giving Nunzio barely any time to interfere. Already he had missed a chance to get rid of the Original Gangsta. Who knew how long it would be before he got into another battle?

Until then, Nunzio was as good a target as any.

A couple of grusome deaths there!

This is a fantastic read!

Only Double A died, the Franchise hasn't been offed yet.

Good chapter, good fight. You and Christano are the only two who can do the BR concept justice in EWB, IMO.

Are you sure? It said New Jack looked down at the bodies of Douglas and Anderson... If he saw Douglas alive, he surely would have killed him. Plus, he would have known he was alive as he must have been running in as Anderson and Douglas were fighting. Furthermore, if Douglas is alive I'll throw a paddy about Anderson being infinitely (?) better than him.

And Gongsun, I couldn't help but notice you're from Singapore. Is English your first language? Because if not, you know it better than 99% of the board anyway.
