Mistaken Identity

General Manager Teddy Long gave Chris Benoit one last shot at the United States Title last week. However, Benoit lost the match when World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio inadvertently hit Benoit with the championship belt when attempting to hit JBL. Rey Mysterio was rather upset and very apologetic, promising he would make it up for it. Does Mysterio plan to get involved in another of Benoit’s matches?

Speaking of Chris Benoit’s matches, the King of the Ring tournament is set to continue this week as Benoit takes on Lashley to determine who will face Kurt Angle at Judgment Day in the finals. Will Rey Mysterio make his presence known?

Last week, Paul London and Brian Kendrick defeated Jamie Noble and Kid Kash due to the interference of the Mexicools. This week, General Manager Teddy Long has signed a number one contenders match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, pitting all three aforementioned teams against one another. Who will come out on top and challenge MNM for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Judgment Day?

Don’t forget, Matt Hardy and Booker T will be facing off to decide the number one contender for JBL’s United States Title at the order of General Manager Teddy Long. Will Matt Hardy pull of yet another win over Booker T? And, as revealed last week, Cruiserweight Champion, Gregory Helms will be returning this week on Smackdown. Who will his first challenger for his title be?

Don’t miss all of this and much more this week on Friday Night Smackdown at 8/7 CT on UPN.

Good RAW with Edge coming out on top again so he appears like a cheating heel type. Didn't like that two of the matches ended in No Contests from interference, but I can see you're building up matches/feuds and whatnot with it. I really enjoyed the RVD vs. Kane match as I was initially afraid you would make one of them look weak, which sucks because I love them both to death and am glad they're getting pushed in real life. Also, John Cena succumbs to the peer pressure of his fans, the fickle bastard. Still the storyline seems to be building up to something fairly big, like a heel turn and his new storyline is that he just wants to please the fans and gets more aggressive when they boo him or something. Looking forward to Smackdown, keep it up (Y)

Man, I really like this diary, I like the feuds that you have building up so far, I like that you brought back Jericho, but, agreeing with what someone said before, I think it would've been better for him to come back as a heel, as that's what RAW needs more of right now, unless you're planning that with Cena. As for the Jericho/HBK feud very nice touch, I like that along with the fact that you put the WWE Title back on Edge, hopefully for a longer period of time.

Live! From Albuquerque, New Mexico

World Wrestling Entertainment Presents: Smackdown on UPN

As the show comes onto the air, we are welcomed by the lovely sight of Mr. Peanut head himself, Teddy Long. Long stands by himself in his office.

Teddy Long: Tonight’s main event, the match that will determine who faces Kurt Angle at Judgment Day in the King of the Ring finals, has been changed, playas. Instead of a regular match, it’s gonna be a Special Guest Referee match. And guess who the referee… is gonna be, playa. The referee for tonight’s main event… is gonna be World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio!

Teddy Long smiles as the camera fades.

Overall Rating: 77%

The usual Smackdown intro package plays, followed by Michael Cole and Tazz welcoming the viewing audience to the show. The cameras then show us the ring as the music of Jamie Noble comes over the speakers. Noble and Kid Kash make their way to the ring.

WWE Tag Team Championships Number One Contenders Match

London and Kendrick vs. The Mexicools vs. Noble and Kash

Once they are in the ring, the music of Paul London and Brian Kendrick starts to play. They then make their way to the ring, followed soon after by the Mexicools. Once all three teams are in the ring, the referee calls for the bell. Mere seconds after the bell rings, Noble and Kash - and The Mexicools starts brawling with each other. They soon find themselves on the outside, while London and Kendrick remain in the ring, confused. Noble, Kash, and The Mexicools continue to fight on the outside, making their way into the crowd, as the referee starts the ten count. The seconds fly by and the teams never do make it back to the ring. Noble and Kash, as well as The Mexicools, are counted out. Paul London and Brian Kendrick are named the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Winners: London and Kendrick

Overall Rating: 77%

After the match has ended, the brawling on the outside continues. London and Kendrick make their way to the back and the other two teams continue to tear each other apart on the outside. After a few moments, agents and security guards from the back hurry out to break up the fight. The two teams are eventually held apart as the show fades to commercials.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

As the show returns from the break, Rey Mysterio is sitting with Chris Benoit in his locker room. Benoit doesn’t look at all happy, and isn’t even looking at Rey Mysterio. In the meantime, Mysterio is repeatedly reassuring Benoit that he’s going to be fair during the main event. Last week was a mistake, but Mysterio swears up and down that he’s not going to make the same mistake twice. Chris Benoit still doesn’t look at him. Mysterio eventually gives up and walks out of the room looking distraught.

United States Championship Number One Contender Match

Matt Hardy vs. Booker T w/ Sharmell

The cameras cut to the arena as Matt Hardy’s music starts to play. He makes his way down to the ring before his music is eventually cut off by that of Booker T’s. Once Booker and Sharmell have made their way to the ring, and Sharmell has stationed herself at ringside, the referee calls for the bell. The match goes back and forth, as both men quite obviously want the shot at the United States Championship. The match only stays organized for a few minutes, as it quickly turns into a straight up fight. The fight continues for a few moments before the referee tries to interject himself to stop it. With the referee getting in their way, Booker and Matt both stop going at each other pretty much at the same time, and simultaneously punch the referee out. The two go back to trying to tear each other apart. The referee finally makes his way to his feet and calls for the bell. It is announced that both men have been disqualified for attacking the referee.

Winner: No Contest via Double Disqualification

Overall Rating: 77%

The cameras cut to the back as MNM stands in the interview area by themselves. Melina goes on to talk about how London and Kendrick don’t stand a chance at Judgment Day. Joey talks about how MNM has the girl, and the belts. What do London and Kendrick have? Johnny cuts in and says they have each other. Aw, how cute. Melina then comes back in and says they better get used to having each other, because it’s going to stay that way, even after Judgment Day. Melina then signals for the group to leave, and they walk off screen. The show then fades to commercials.

Non-Title Match

Nunzio vs. Gregory Helms©

The show comes back from commercials as Nunzio stands in the ring. His music fades out. After a few seconds, the music of Cruiserweight Champion, Gregory Helms, comes onto the speakers. Gregory Helms makes his way out from the back with an arrogant strut. Once Helms is in the ring, the bell rings for the match to start. The match starts out with Helms in control, and it stays that way for a while. As the match progresses, the cocky Gregory Helms begins to boast more and more, seemingly thinking very little of his opponent. Helms turns around to receive a straight shot to the face from Nunzio, which is followed by a few more. Nunzio whips Helms into the ropes and then catches him with a drop kick. With Helms on the mat, Nunzio locks on a vicious looking arm bar. In only a matter of seconds, Helms finds himself tapping. The underdog, Nunzio pulled off the upset! Nunzio’s music comes over the speakers and he makes his way to the back.. Helms eventually sits up in the middle of the ring, in complete disbelief of what just happened. What a way to return from injury.

Winner: Nunzio

Overall Rating: 75%

The cameras cut to the back to show Teddy Long in his office once again. Teddy Long goes on to announce that at Judgment Day, we will see JBL defend his United States Championship against both Booker T and Matt Hardy as a result of tonight’s double disqualification. The camera then cuts back to the arena.

Tag Team Match

Kurt Angle and Burchill vs. William Regal and Mr. Kennedy

William Regal and Burchill star the match. Regal gets control early on after a few cheap shots. After a little while, Regal attempts to tag in Kennedy, but Kennedy refuses to tag in, as he is too busy looking all over the place for The Undertaker. Regal shakes his head and goes back to controlling Burchill. Regal sends Burchill into a neutral corner. Regal charges at him, but Burchill gets the boots up, sending Regal staggering backward. Burchill charges out of the corner and nails Regal with a clothesline. Burchill hurries to his corner and tags in Kurt Angle. Angle jumps in the ring and starts to take it to Regal. They exchange some excellent mat work for a few moments, before Kurt Angle gets back control.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

As the show comes back from commercials, Burchill is in control, having been tagged in by Angle. After a few seconds of being back on the air, Burchill tags Angle back into the match. Angle starts back up right where he left off with his offense, controlling Regal. In the middle of Angle’s offense, Regal swings for a punch, but Angle ducks and gets Regal for a German Suplex! NO! Regal catches him with a mule kick! Regal dives toward his corner for a tag, but Kennedy once again refuses, still looking for Undertaker. Regal starts to swear at Kennedy, and while he’s distracted, Regal comes up from behind with a German Suplex! With Regal down, Angle locks on the Angle Lock and within seconds, Regal taps out!

Winners: Kurt Angle and Burchill

Overall Rating: 77%

The cameras cut to the back to show new-comer Gunner Scott walking down a hallway, saying hello to many of the Smackdown superstars. He says hello to Funaki, Scotty 2 Hotty, Stevie Richards, and others before walking into his dressing room. When he closes the door, HARDCORE HOLLY JUMPS HIM FROM BEHIND! Holly beats him senseless for a few moments, before finally backing off. Not backing off, however, until Scott is left in a pool of his own blood. Holly starts to walk away.

Holly: Welcome to Smackdown, rookie!

With that, Holly turns and walks out the door. The show fades to commercials.

King of the Ring Special Referee Match

Lashley vs. Chris Benoit

Referee: Rey Mysterio

The show returns from the break as Rey Mysterio is standing in the ring, his music still playing. Lashley is the next one out, followed soon after by Chris Benoit. With both men in the ring, Mysterio calls for the bell. The match is very technically sound. Lashley gets in some big offense from time to time, but Benoit’s experience helps him keep control over the newer, younger, star. Throughout the match, Mysterio stays completely fair and unbiased. He counts at the same speed for both men, and breaks holds when they need to be broken. As the match progresses, all of Lashley’s strong offense starts to wear down Benoit, enabling Lashley to lay it on thicker and more often as he starts to gain the upper hand. Lashley goes to send Benoit into the ropes, but Benoit reverses. As Lashley comes off the ropes, Benoit catches him in an attempt at the Crossface. However, after fighting it for a few minutes, Lashley is eventually able to break the hold before Benoit can fully lock it on. Lashley fights his way to his feet, and then gets Benoit for a Belly to Belly, and then throwing him across the ring like a rag doll. Benoit staggers to his feet and stumbles toward Lashley, who then gets him up for the Dominator… HE NAILS IT! Lashley goes for the pin. Mysterio has to count it. 1... 2... 3! Lashley has advanced to face Kurt Angle in the King of the Ring finals at Judgment Day! Lashley’s music plays as he makes his way toward the back. Mysterio stays in the ring, looking upset. Benoit eventually comes to and stares a hole through Mysterio. Rey says he is sorry, but that Lashley won it clean and there was nothing he could do about it. Benoit still doesn’t look very happy. Seeing that Benoit isn’t going to forgive him, Mysterio gives up and slowly heads away from the ring. The camera is fixed on the rather upset Chris Benoit as the show goes off the air.

A Dangerous Decision

May 22, 2006

Last Monday, WWE Champion, Edge stole another victory - pinning Triple H after his partner, John Cena speared him by mistake. Following the match, John Cena and Triple H got face to face and it seemed as though they were about to exchange fisticuffs. However, an anti-Cena chant broke out inside the arena, and John Cena promptly backed away and headed to the back. Triple H has officially issued a challenge to John Cena this week. Will John Cena accept?

Mr. Money In The Bank warned WWE Champion Edge last week that he should keep looking over his shoulder, as no one knows when he will cash in the contract for the title shot. RVD may not have to use his contract however, as he will face Edge this week in a non-title match. If RVD wins, he will be rewarded a title shot next week on RAW. Can RVD pull it off?

Two weeks ago, The Big Red Machine, Kane bloodied Big Show with a television monitor from ringside. The brutal blood war between Kane and Big Show continued last week, as we saw Big Show leave Kane in a pool of his own blood. What’s going to transpire between these two monsters this week? And, three teams seem to be battling it out over the World Tag Team Championships. With the teams not being able to stay out of each others business as of late, a decision has been made regarding the titles. What kind of decision has been made?

Last week, Chavo Guerrero once again challenged Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin for his title. However, the match ended in a no contest when young Chris Masters made his presence known by attacking both men. Carlito then chased Masters off, and then proceeded to attack the Intercontinental Champion. It has been announced that Carlito will team up with Chavo Guerrero this week to take on Chris Masters and the Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin in tag team action. Can Shelton Benjamin coexist with the man that tried to break his neck with the Masterlock last week?

All this and much more on Monday Night RAW (9/8 CT; USA Network).

Live! From Las Vegas, Nevada

World Wrestling Entertainment Presents: RAW on USA

Following the pyro and the intro package, the cameras cut to the locker room of the Spirit Squad. The five members are sitting together, all complaining about the news they have heard. It turns out, they are being forced to defend their World Tag Team Championships against The V Spot and Cade and Murdoch at Vengeance. They complain that Viscera might sit on them… or worse… hump them. They then complain that Trevor Murdoch scares them with his weird facial expressions and his horrible body odor.

Overall Rating: 62%

Just as the word “odor” comes out of Mikey’s mouth, Val Venis busts into their locker room and starts to attack them. Viscera soon follows into the room and aids in the beating. Val and Big Vis are able to keep the Spirit Squad down for a few moments, before the numbers game comes into the play. Within moments, the five members of the Spirit Squad have Val and Vis down. Two men on Val and three on Vis.

Overall Rating: 56%

As soon as the Spirit Squad has Val and Viscera neutralized, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch come charging into the room. They take out the members of the Spirit Squad that are holding down Val, and then take out those who are working on Viscera. Once they are out of the way, Cade and Murdoch go after Val and Vis. They continue beating on them until the Spirit Squad comes back and the brawl continues. The cameras fade to the arena.

Singles Match

Shawn Michaels vs. Snitsky

Snitsky is already in the ring when the cameras cut to the arena. His music stops and Shawn Michaels’ starts. Once HBK is in the ring, the match begins. The match is very standard, Snitsky being the dominate bad guy for the majority of the match. Michaels gets sent into the ropes and catches Snitsky with forearm. This is followed by a kip up. HBK does all of his usual moves before climbing to the top rope and landing the Elbow Drop. He then goes to the corner and tunes up the band. Snitsky gets to his feet… SWEET CHIN MUSIC! HBK goes for the pin! 1... 2... 3!

Winner: Shawn Michaels

COMMERCIAL BREAK

The show returns from the commercial break to show Kane sitting by himself in a dark room. He has a maniacal smile on his face, and a nasty looking cut on his forehead - remnants of last week.

Kane: Big Show… you made a very… very… big mistake last week. You should have killed me, but you didn’t. You tried to get your revenge, by busting me open… but you’ve only hurt yourself, Big Show. The SIGHT OF MY OWN BLOOD… has only added to my HATE… for you… This war… this war has only just begun, Big Show… And… at Vengeance… the war… WILL END AT MY COMMAND… I’m going to make you bleed, Big Show. Worse than before. I’m not… going to stop… when the blood starts… to flow. I will see you… Big Show… at Vengeance… in a FIRST… BLOOD… match!

The camera fades to black.

Tag Team Match

Carlito and Chavo Guerrero vs. Shelton Benjamin and Chris Masters

Chris Masters and Chavo Guerrero start the match. Chris Masters dominates for the most part. While Masters dominates, Shelton repeatedly asks for a tag, but Masters ignores him. In the midst of fighting, Chavo manages to get a thumb into the eye of Masters, allowing him to dive for the corner and get the tag to Carlito. Carlito storms the ring and goes after Masters with a fury. Carlito’s offense is somewhat short lived though, as Masters quickly gets the advantage back due to his strength. Masters goes to whip Carlito into the corner, but Carlito reverses it, and sends Masters into his own corner. There, Benjamin tags himself in and hurries into the ring. Shelton gets in a few shots on Carlito and takes control. After a few seconds, Masters emerges from the corner, realizing what happened. Carlito sends Shelton into the ropes. As he comes off CHRIS MASTERS nails his OWN PARTNER with a clothesline. Shelton staggers to his feet… FULL NELSON SLAM FROM MASTERS! Masters looks at Shelton, and then at his opponents. Masters climbs out of the ring and walks away from the match, leaving his partner to fend for himself. Shelton Benjamin starts to get back to his feet, but Carlito catches him with his backbreaker variation. Carlito quickly tags in Chavo, who heads to the top rope and points to the sky. FROG SPLASH! Chavo goes for the pin! 1... 2... 3!

Winners: Carlito and Chavo Guerrero

Overall Rating: 70%

The cameras cut to the back as Chris Jericho stands with Todd Grisham. Grisham asks him about his return to the WWE and aligning with Vince McMahon. Jericho tells him to shut up because he already explained all that. Jericho goes on to say that he’s going to make an example out of Eugene tonight, and show Shawn Michaels what he’s got himself into at Vengeance. Chris Jericho walks off screen as the show fades to commercials.

Singles Match

Eugene vs. Chris Jericho

When the show returns from the break, Eugene is already in the ring and his music is still playing. After a few seconds, his music fades out and Chris Jericho’s comes over the speakers. Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring, minus the McMahons. Jericho enters the ring and the match is ready to begin. In the first few moments of the match, it’s obvious that Jericho has underestimated Eugene, as Eugene is getting in quite a bit of offense. Eugene dominates the match for a couple of minutes, before Chris Jericho finally has enough. Jericho lands a low blow on Eugene without the referee catching it, and from then on, takes over the match. Jericho sends Eugene into the ropes. Eugene stumbles out of the corner and is caught with a face buster from Jericho. Jericho gets to his feet and takes a look at Eugene, realizing that he’s on his back in the middle of the ring. Jericho lunges at the ropes and springboards off with a Lionsault! Jericho goes for the cover! 1... 2... 3!

Winner: Chris Jericho

The cameras cut to the back to show Edge and Lita in their locker room. Lita is fixing her hair and then wipes the corner of her mouth. As the camera pans over, the viewing audience is “fortunate” enough to catch a glimpse of Edge’s ass as he pulls his tights up. The camera zooms out so that both Edge and Lita are on screen. Lita picks up Edge’s belt and hands it to Edge, who puts it on his shoulder.

Edge: I’m ready now. Thanks, babe.

Lita smiles and then her and Edge walk off screen.

Non-Title Match

Rob Van Dam vs. Edge© w/ Lita

The camera cuts back to the arena as Rob Van Dam’s music comes over the speakers. He makes his way out to the ring with his briefcase. RVD poses on the ropes with the briefcase as the show fades to commercials.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

When the live feed comes back on the air, RVD’s music is still playing, but is quickly overtaken by that of Edge. Edge and Lita then emerge from behind the curtain. They make their way to the ring and Edge gives Lita a kiss before she exit’s the ring. The bell rings. The match goes back and forth for a little while at the beginning. After a while, Edge starts to take control, with RVD only getting in a few shots here and there. After a few minutes, Edge misses a punch, and RVD gets in a few shots of his own. RVD gets Edge down on the mat, and it seems as though he’s starting to pick up some steam. RVD comes off the ropes with the Rolling Thunder… NO! Edge gets up his knees and RVD’s momentum is stopped dead. Edge gets to his feet and pulls RVD up as well. Edge continues his offense.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

The show comes back from its last commercial break with RVD now in control. The television broadcast shows a replay to let everyone know how RVD got the upper hand. It turns out, that Edge went to whip RVD into the ropes, but RVD reversed. Lita, not realizing that RVD reversed the whip, low bridged the ropes, causing Edge to topple to the outside. RVD waited until Edge got to his feet and then charged at the ropes with a Hilo onto Edge. Back to live action, RVD is taking it to Edge with a plethora of kicks. Gradually, Edge starts to get in a few shots here and there, until the two are fighting back and forth once again. As they are doing so, John Cena hops the barricade and slides into the ring. John Cena barrels at Edge for a Spear, but once again, Edge moves and Cena collides with RVD! John Cena stands up, not comprehending what just happened, and turns around and gets a SPEAR of his own from Edge! Cena quickly rolls out of the ring as RVD starts to get to his feet… EDGECUTION! Edge goes for the cover! 1... 2... 3! Edge just stole another win! Edge’s music comes over the speakers as Cena climbs back into the ring.

Winner: Edge

Overall Rating: 81%

John Cena goes after Edge and takes him down. Cena lays in the punches. While this is going on, RVD has regained consciousness and sees what is going on. He decides to slowly walk away, leaving things to be taken care of later. Cena remains in the ring, beating down on Edge as Triple H comes running down the ramp. HHH slides into the ring and pulls John Cena off of Edge, tossing him out of the ring. Edge hurries out of the ring and flees toward the back with Lita and his belt. Triple H is handed a microphone.

Triple H: Time’s up, John! I issued a challenge, and I want an answer! So how about I make this very simple for you? All you have to do, is climb into the ring now, and the match starts. We’re both here, so let’s do this. If you say no, that just proves how much of a pu*** you really are! So come on, Eminem. Get in the ring and let’s go!

Triple H tosses the microphone out of the ring and taunts John Cena to get in.

Overall Rating: 93%

Cena climbs into the ring and gets face to face with Triple H, much like last week. They exchange some rather unkind words with one another. After a few seconds, half of the crowd starts a “TRIPLE H!” chant while the other half chants “CENA SUCKS!” Before too long, all of the chants turn into “CENA SUCKS!” and it’s damn near deafening. John Cena surveys the crowd, looking distraught. John Cena backs away from Triple H, at which point we see Triple H mouth the words “that’s what I thought.” Cena gets back in Triple H’s face as they resume their trash talking contest. Triple H yells at Cena, telling him to listen to the fans. Cena looks around, once again surveying the crowd as the “CENA SUCKS!” chants continue to pour down on him. Cena is very visibly upset. He looks at the ground and then backs away from Triple H again. OH!!! WHAT THE HELL!!! CENA GETS TRIPLE H UP FOR THE FU!!! HE NAILS IT!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?! CENA HAS FINALLY SNAPPED! Cena is cussing at the fans and giving them all obscene hand gestures. What the hell is Cena thinking?! John Cena looks down at Triple H and spits on him. Cena is fuming! Last Stop

May 26, 2006

Last Friday, World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio was appointed Special Guest Referee for the last semi-finals King of the Ring match between Chris Benoit and Lashley. Mysterio did his job properly and called the match fairly, eventually rewarding the victory to Lashley. Chris Benoit did not look at all pleased with Mysterio after the match. This week, Chris Benoit is set to take on Finlay in one on one competition, while Rey Mysterio will be teaming up with Lashley to take on the team of Kurt Angle and JBL. Will Rey Mysterio or Chris Benoit get involved in one another’s matches?

It was very apparent during last week’s tag team match that Mr. Kennedy is not in stable condition to compete. Because of this, he has been given the week off from in ring competition. He will, however, be present Friday night. Also, General Manager Teddy Long announced last week that Matt Hardy and Booker T will both challenge for the United States Title at Judgment Day. With JBL involved in a match already this week, what is in store for Hardy and Booker T?

Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms returned to Smackdown from injury last week, only to be defeated in a huge upset by Nunzio. Helms has not taken this defeat lightly, and has challenged Nunzio to a rematch this week. Will Nunzio accept? And, due to their brawl last week, General Manager Teddy Long has announced that Jamie Noble and Kid Kash will face off against The Mexicools in tag team action at Judgment Day. The question is, however, can the two teams wait until then?

Don’t miss all of this and much more this week on Friday Night Smackdown at 8/7 CT on UPN.

Really enjoyed Smackdown, except for the Triple Threat Tag Team match ending in double countout of the two other teams. I really liked the main event especially, though I thought Benoit was going to assault Rey after the match for not being biased in his favor or something.

Raw pretty good too with the Eugene/Jericho match trying to send a message to HBK. Seeing Cena finally attack Triple H was good for the soul  And I was really into the main event match.

Live! From Bakersfield, California

World Wrestling Entertainment Presents: Smackdown on UPN

Following the opening pyro and the intro package, the cameras cut to the arena has Gregory Helms’ music hits the speakers. Helms makes his way out from the back, wearing his championship belt around his waist. He makes his way to the ring and, once inside, is handed a microphone. After a few seconds, his music fades out.

Helms: I was out for weeks with a broken nose, thanks to you Teddy Long. And, the night that I come back, Teddy Long orders me into a match with Nunzio. I couldn’t just come back and have some mic time, no. I had to be in a match on my first night back. So, due to the ring rust, and the fact that I’m still feeling some of the effects of the broken nose, Nunzio beat me in a FLUKE. That’s right. It was a fluke. Now, the reason I’m out here, is because I’m feeling a lot better this week. So, Nunzio, I want you to get your ass out here, so that I can prove that you can’t beat me!

A few seconds pass, and Nunzio’s music hits the speakers.

Overall Rating: 74%

Nunzio makes his way down to the ring and gets face to face with Helms, and the proceeds to take the microphone from the Cruiserweight Champion.

Nunzio: So ya think me beatin’ ya was a fluke, eh? It wasn’t. Fact is, I can beat ya again. I’ll tell ya what. I’ll accept your little challenge, but only under one condition. If I beat ya again, here tonight, ya gotta defend that Cruiserweight title against ME at Judgment Day.

Helms takes the microphone back from Nunzio rather aggressively.

Helms: That’s fine. Because it doesn’t matter. I’m gonna beat you!

Helms cracks Nunzio in the head with the microphone and then tosses it to the outside before starting an all out assault on him.

Nunzio vs. Gregory Helms©

Due to the pre-match assault, Gregory Helms has control for most of the match. In fact, he has control basically for the whole thing. Helms uses every dirty tactic in the match. Not so much to keep his advantage, but to add insult to injury. Late in the match, Helms catches Nunzio with the Nightmare On Helms Street. But, he doesn’t stop there. He goes to set him up for the Vertebreaker… NO! Nunzio reverses it into the Kiss of Death! Nunzio goes for the cover! 1... 2... 3! Nunzio quickly flees the ring and heads to the back. After a few seconds, Helms manages to sit up, and can’t believe it when the referee tells him what happened. Gregory Helms gets to his feet and starts throwing a tantrum in the ring.

Winner: Nunzio

The cameras cut to the back with a close up of a photograph of William Regal. After a few seconds, a knife zips onto the screen and sticks into the picture of Regal, right between the eyes. The camera zooms out and pans over a bit to reveal Burchill sitting in his locker room with a handful of throwing knives. He chucks another one at the picture and it sticks right in Regal’s throat. The camera fades.

Joey Mercury w/ Johnny Nitro and Melina vs. Paul London w/ Brian Kendrick

When the show returns from the break, the match is already underway. The match goes back and forth, with both men showing good offense. Of course, throughout the match Nitro and Melina make their presence known by trying to distract Paul London. London does his best to not allow them to cause him trouble. As the match progresses, London gets in a few near falls, seeming as though he’s going to pull off the win. London ends up taking Mercury down with a scoop slam. Just as he does so, Nitro charges into the ring to attack London, but London catches him with a Dropsault and lands right on top of Mercury! Nitro gets back to his feet, which provokes Kendrick to jump into the ring. London goes for the pin but the referee doesn’t see it, as he’s busy trying to get Kendrick out of the ring. London gets to his feet, noticing that the referee is distracted. He turns around and Nitro hoists him up in position for the Snapshot. Mercury gets to his feet, and does his part for the move and BAM! London is out! Nitro flees from the ring and Mercury goes for the cover and Kendrick finally is forced out of the ring by the referee. The referee turns around and sees the cover. 1... 2... 3! Kendrick hops into the ring to check on his partner while MNM head toward the back.

The cameras cut back to the arena as Finlay makes his way down to the ring. Once he’s in the ring, Benoit’s music comes over the speakers and he too makes his way out. Benoit climbs into the ring and the bell is rung to start the match. The match is much like their one a few weeks ago, with Finlay trying to keep Benoit’s mat skills at bay with stiff brawling. Benoit eventually gets sick of it, and starts to show off a little of his own brawling. It eventually gets the job done as Finlay goes for a Clothesline coming off the ropes, and Benoit catches him and gets him in the Crossface. Within only a matter of seconds, Finlay is tapping. After the match, Benoit stares down at Finlay and then heads to the back. Someone is in a foul mood this evening.

Judgment Is Upon Us

World Heavyweight Championship

Three weeks ago, Rey Mysterio inadvertently cost Chris Benoit a United States Championship match against JBL, leaving Chris Benoit in a very foul mood. The following week, Rey Mysterio was appointed Special Guest Referee in Chris Benoit’s King of the Ring match against Lashley. Lashley had Benoit pinned, and Mysterio had to be fair, thus counting the three. Again, Chris Benoit was obviously very upset following the match. This past Friday, following a tag team match in which World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio took part, Chris Benoit came to the ring and brutally assaulted Rey Mysterio. He then proceeded to add insult to injury by posing with Rey’s belt. Can Rey Mysterio overcome the blind rage of his former friend, Chris Benoit and retain the World Heavyweight Championship?

King of the Ring

The tournament started out with eight men. It is now down to two. In one corner will be the multiple time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, as well as many other titles in the WWE, the Olympic Gold Medallist, Kurt Angle. In the other corner will be the new comer, Lashley. Lashley has had an impressive run thus far in WWE, and has surprised many by making it to the finals of the tournament. However, experience is in the corner of Kurt Angle. Will experience prevail?

United States Championship

JBL defeated Chris Benoit at WrestleMania to capture the United States Championship. Since then, he has retained his title against Chris Benoit on two separate occasions. However, he will now have to face new challengers. Five weeks ago, Matt Hardy defeated Booker T to advance in the King of the Ring tournament. Two weeks later, they would have a rematch in which Matt Hardy would once again prevail. The following week, Booker T cost Matt Hardy his King of the Ring match against Kurt Angle. Later that night, General Manager Teddy Long would go on to announce a Number One Contender match for the United States Championship between Matt Hardy and Booker T. One week later, that match would take place. However, that match would end in a draw when both competitors attacked the referee for trying to separate them. This left Teddy Long with no choice but to announce them both as the Number One Contender. Will the dissention between the two heighten JBL’s chances to retain his championship?

In Too Deep?

Four weeks ago, the charismatic and rather arrogant Mr. Kennedy made his return to Smackdown by attacking The Undertaker and costing him a match against Mark Henry. The following week, Mr. Kennedy demanded an answer to his challenge. What followed was a frightening event to witness, as the arena filled with smoke and the ring began to move. The ring was struck by lightning, and a message appeared on the big screen that simply read “JUDGMENT DAY.” Since then, Mr. Kennedy has been looking over his shoulder for The Undertaker. So much so, that it has cost him two matches. Has Mr. Kennedy dug his hole a bit too deep?

WWE Tag Team Championships

For the past five weeks, Paul London and Brian Kendrick, The Mexicools, and Jamie Noble and Kid Kash have been battling over the chance to face MNM for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Along the way, Jamie Noble and Kid Kash and The Mexicools got sidetracked with issues of their own, which resulted in London and Kendrick winning a number one contenders match by count out last week. Can London and Kendrick finally pull off the win and gain their first tag titles together?

Old Fashioned Brawl

Months ago, Burchill decided to pay homage to his pirate ancestry by wrestling under the appearance of a pirate. His first match with his new look, was against his tag team partner William Regal. Upon defeating Regal, Burchill gained the right to make him dress up as a buxom wench and accompany him to the ring every week. Four weeks ago, William Regal cost Burchill his King of the Ring match against Lashley. The loss ended the agreement between the two. An excited Regal attacked Burchill after the match, only to be the one left lying on the mat by the time Burchill left. The following week, William Regal would cost Burchill yet another match. It would be announced later that night, that they would face one another at Judgment Day. Can Burchill defeat his former mentor, or will William Regal use his experience and brass knuckles to pick up the win?

Cruiserweight Championship

Gregory Helms made his return from injury last week. He would face Nunzio in a non-title bout in which Nunzio would pick up the upset over the champion. This past Friday, Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms swore that the win was a fluke and challenged Nunzio to a rematch. Nunzio accepted, but on the terms that if he won again, Helms would have to put his title on the line at Judgment Day. Helms accepted, but would later regret it, as Nunzio would once again upset the champion. Can Nunzio pull off the hat trick and once again become Cruiserweight Champion?

A Matter of Respect

Five weeks ago, The Mexicools defeated Jamie Noble and Kid Kash in a match that would earn Super Crazy a shot to defeat Joey Mercury to earn The Mexicools a WWE Tag Team Titles shot. Super Crazy would win that match and The Mexicools would challenge MNM on Smackdown the following week. However, during the match, Jamie Noble and Kid Kash made their presence known when they cost The Mexicools the match. When questioned about their actions, Noble and Kash stated that they were going to teach The Mexicools some respect. The last four weeks have consisted of the two teams costing one another matches, as well as costing themselves a shot at the WWE Tag Team Titles when they would get themselves counted out in a three way match last week. Will this issue finally be resolved?

Don’t miss all of this on Sunday night, May 28, LIVE on Pay-Per-View as WWE Smackdown presents Judgment Day at 8/7 CT.

Brock Lesnar and WWE settle their lawsuit, Randy Orton

Credit: **** *******

Brock Lesnar and WWE have reached a settlement agreement on the non-compete lawsuit.

Lesnar was looking to get out of his non-compete for anything related to sports entertainment as well as ultimate fighting through the year 2010, world wide.

Terms were not announced. Lesnar will be able to participate in wrestling and ultimate fighting with certain agreed upon restrictions, as it was not a full victory to Lesnar. While not stated, it is believed he would not be allowed to work for TNA. Lesnar is said to be considering doing MMA, now that he is legally able.

It is likely that WWE will be allowing Randy Orton’s contract to expire. His current contract expires in September of this year, and it seems that WWE has no interest in renewing it following Orton’s most recent behavior in April, which ultimately got him suspended. He has not been on WWE programming since his suspension began.

Rey Mysterio over Benoit to retain

Kurt Angle over Lashley to become the only man to win the KOTR twice

Matt Hardy over JBL and Booker T to become the new US champion

MISTEERRRRR KENNEDYYYY over The Undertaker in the biggest upset in a long time

London and Kendrick over MNM to become the NEW Tag Team Champions of the WOOOORRLD

Paul Burchill over William Regal via parrot interference :shifty:

Gregory Helms retains CW Title against Nunzio

Mexicools over Noble and Kash

Also tough break for Orton. Some may say it's unrealistic to let go of such a big name in the middle of a war with TNA, but I have to say it's been a long time coming and he should have been dropped from The E' like a hot potato after the first behavioral incident. Hopefully he gets made SD!'s new job-boy bitch, especially to build up the superstar that will take his place in the upper-midcard/main event scene.

Live! From Phoenix, Arizona

World Wrestling Entertainment Presents: Smackdown’s Judgment Day on PPV

The broadcast comes onto the air live with the opening pyrotechnics and theme song. The cameras race around the arena showing the fans and all of their signs. A few signs that can be seen are “The Mexicools Are My Gardeners” and “Ass Pirate” with a drawing of a butt next to a rather good drawing of Burchill. These fans are just plain mean. Anyway, the cameras fix on the entrance way as Noble and Kash’s music hits the speakers.

Tag Team Match

The Mexicools vs. Noble and Kash

The opening contest soon gets underway. Of course, with all of the problems between the two teams as of late, this starts out as a brawl rather than a match. It only takes a few moments, however, for the referee to get some order, and when he does, Kid Kash and Psicosis start the match. It goes back and forth for the most part, with Kid Kash using cheap tactics, but Psicosis keeps one upping him and ending up on top, which obviously upsets Kash. They continue to go back and forth before Kash tags in Noble. Noble comes in the ring and puts a beating on Psicosis for a few minutes, and tags Kash back into the match. The team is working rather well as a tag team, keeping the opposition from his corner. Kash continues to work on Psicosis and then sends him into a neutral corner. Kash charges at him, but Psicosis gets the boots up and then makes a B line for Super Crazy. He makes the tag. Crazy gets into the ring and squares off with Kash, who is now back to his feet. Former ECW tag team partners in 2000-2001, and now they are facing off in WWE. They lock up, with Crazy getting in the first move, that being a side headlock, which is followed by a takeover. They go back and forth with some quick moves and spots before Crazy gets him with a few hard slams. Crazy tags back in Psicosis. After a few moments, Psicosis finds himself back to being the baby face in peril, as Noble and Kash use frequent tags to keep him away from his corner. Another few moments later, Psicosis makes the hot tag and in comes Crazy. Crazy takes Noble down. Kash jumps into the ring and gets taken down as well. Noble is taken down again. Crazy tosses Noble to the outside, where Psicosis is now waiting for him. Crazy goes after Kash, but Kash flees to the outside, where he assists Noble. Crazy springboards over the ropes and lands on the apron… ASAI MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE ONTO ALL THREE MEN! This brings on the first big pop of the night. Crazy is the first to his feet, followed by his partner, Psicosis. They pull their opponents up and toss them into the ring. All four men are in the ring, but Crazy and Psicosis are the ones on the attack. They lay Noble and Kash out in the ring as they each ascend a turnbuckle. They leap off simultaneously, with Crazy going for a Moonsault and Psicosis going for a Top Rope Leg Drop. Noble and Kash both manage to get out of the way! Noble and Kash capitalize on their opponents failed high risk offense, and simultaneously get them both up for Brainbusters! THEY NAIL THEM! Noble goes for the cover on Crazy! 1... 2... 3!

Winners: Noble and Kash

Overall Rating: 83%

The cameras cut to the back to show Matt Hardy having his ribs taped up by a medic. This is due to Booker T brutalizing him with a steel chair this past Friday on Smackdown.

Cruiserweight Championship

Nunzio vs. Gregory Helms©

The cameras cut back to the arena as Nunzio’s music plays over the sound system. He makes his way down toward the ring looking rather confident. But why shouldn’t he? He beat Helms two weeks in a row on Smackdown. Once Nunzio is in the ring, his music is interrupted by that of the Cruiserweight Champion. Gregory Helms emerges from the back looking pissed. He speed walks toward the ring, taking his championship belt off on the way - dropping it on the ground outside of the ring as he slides in and goes after Nunzio. The bell rings to start the match, but it’s already started as Helms takes it to Nunzio with punches. They roll around on the mat for a little bit before both finally return to a vertical base and get face to face. They exchange words with one another until Nunzio slaps Helms across the face. Once again, they begin brawling. After a few moments, it actually seems to become a wrestling match for the first time so far, with Nunzio taking Helms down and working over his arm. Nunzio continues on the offense for a while, showcasing his mat skills. A couple minutes into the match, Nunzio makes an attempt at a go behind, which results in him receiving a mule kick from Helms. Helms then finds himself on the offensive side of the match finally. Helms starts to violently work on Nunzio’s back and occasionally his neck. Helms’ offense continues for a couple of minutes. He goes to whip Nunzio into the ropes but Nunzio reverses. As Helms comes off the ropes, he goes for a Sunset Flip pin but Nunzio quickly rolls out of it and delivers a drop kick straight Helms’ face. Nunzio goes for a pin! 1... 2... Helms kicks out. Helms hurries to is feet, but is surprised when Nunzio takes him down again with a drop toe hold and then immediately gets him in an arm bar. Helms fights his way to the ropes. Nunzio breaks the hold and backs away. Helms gets to his feet and charges at Nunzio. He swings for a punch but Nunzio ducks and gets behind him. Helms turns around and gets a boot to the midsection. Nunzio gets him set up for the Kiss of Death but… NO! Helms powers him up and has him in position for the Vertebreaker! He nails it! Helms goes for the cover! 1... 2... He gets his feet up on the ropes as Nunzio tries to kick out... 3!

Winner: And STILL Cruiserweight Champion, Gregory Helms

Overall Rating: 77%

The cameras switch to the back as we see MNM together in their locker room. Melina looks to be quite livid as she lectures her men. She tells them that their only choice tonight is to win. If they don’t win, they don’t get her. She says it’s as simple as that. Mercury and Nitro look worried as Melina flips her hair and walks away. Nitro looks at Mercury.

Nitro: If we don’t win… we’re screwed.

Mercury: Don’t you mean we’re not screwed?

Nitro: Don’t get technical.

Mercury shrugs as Nitro walks off screen. Mercury soon follows after him.

Singles Match

William Regal vs. Burchill

Regal is the first to come out. The crowd gives him a decent round of boos as he makes his way down to the ring. Glad to see that the fans actually give a crap about the matches tonight. With Regal in the ring, Burchill’s music hits the speakers, and he swings down onto the stage. He makes his way down to the ring and things are ready to get underway. They start with a tie up, which leads to Burchill overpowering Regal. They repeat this again, and the same thing happens. They go for it a third time, and Regal busts out a finger to the eye, which allows him to start going to work on Burchill. From this point on, the two show off some fantastic mat work and chain wrestling. After a few moments, Regal goes to send Burchill into the ropes, but Burchill reverses. As Regal comes off the ropes, Burchill catches him with a nasty looking STO. STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS from Burchill! Amazing! Burchill goes for the cover! 1... 2... NO! Regal kicks out. Burchill pulls Regal to his feet and starts pulling some suplexes out of his arsenal. After a handful of those, Burchill goes for another pin, but gets another two count. Burchill once again goes to pull Regal up, but this time, gets a low blow for is troubles. Regal starts to take it to Burchill with some technical, yet classic, yet also vicious, moves. Regal works over Burchill’s arm and shoulder for a little while. A few minutes pass with Regal on offense before he sends Burchill into the corner. Regal charges at him but Burchill moves, shoving Regal into the corner instead. Regal staggers backward and spins around, finding himself in the set up for Walking The Plank (C4)! But no, Regal counters out and drops to his knees! LOW BLOW!!! Wait, what’s this? Regal is pointing at Burchill’s sash. Why? The referee checks Burchill’s sash and low and behold, there is a pair of brass knuckles hanging half way out! That cheat William Regal stuck them there just now! The referee takes the brass knuckles while arguing with Burchill. Burchill tries to explain they aren’t his as the referee walks over to the corner to hand them to a crew members. Burchill turns around, and with the referee’s back turned, Regal clocks Burchill in the head with ANOTHER pair of brass knuckles! Regal tucks them back into his trunks as he goes for he cover. The referee turns around and drops down to make the count! 1... 2... 3!

Winner: William Regal

Overall Rating: 75%

The cameras cut to the back to show Booker T and Sharmell in the back. They are laughing and carrying on as Booker T brags about attacking Matt Hardy last week.

Booker: Baby, did you see him? His ribs are all bruised up and he’s back there getting taped up.

Sharmell: I saw him, Book. You did a fantastic job, honey.

Booker: I know, I know. With that sucka outta my way tonight, there’s no way in hell that I won’t w… Can I help you?

The camera zooms out to reveal JBL standing next to Booker T. JBL gets in his face.

JBL: Just because you managed to bruise someone with a steel chair, doesn’t mean you can beat me, boy. I am the United States Champion for a reason. I defeated Chris Benoit three times, for a reason. Do you know what that reason is, Booker?

Booker: No, and I don’t give a da…

JBL: It’s because I am a wrestling… god. The fact of the matter is, Booker T… Matt Hardy or no Matt Hardy… I’m walking out of this arena tonight, still the United States Champion. These people will be chanting MY name… They will not be chanting “Sucka T.” Sucka.

JBL smiles and then turns and leaves the room. Booker T looks at his wife, Sharmell.

Booker: He didn’t just say that. Tell me… he didn’t just say that.

WWE Tag Team Championships

London and Kendrick vs. MNM© w/ Melina

The cameras return to the arena as the challengers’ music hits the speakers. Paul London and Brian Kendrick emerge from the back and run down to the ring. They play to the crowd as their music fades and is overtaken by that of MNM. The WWE Tag Team Champions and the beautiful Melina emerge from the back with their paparazzi. The red carpet is laid out for them as they approach the ring. Kendrick and Nitro start the match. Nitro gets things going with some cheap tactics which enable him to get the upper hand right from the start. The next couple of minutes consist of the champs making frequent tags and keeping Kendrick away from his corner. However, a ducked Clothesline from Mercury enables Kendrick to land a neck breaker and make the tag to London. London comes into the ring and nails a Dropsault on Mercury, followed by one on Nitro. London and Kendrick them whip Mercury into the ropes and catch him with a double back body drop. London goes for the cover and Kendrick exits to the apron. 1... 2... Mercury kicks out. London and Mercury go back and forth for a short while before London ends up tagging Kendrick back in. Kendrick’s offense is short lived, however. London sends him into the ropes and Nitro low bridges, causing Kendrick to flop to the outside. Nitro immediately started getting in some shots. Mercury makes his way to the outside as well, where he gets in his shots. London hurries into the ring and pretty much runs up the turnbuckles to the top rope. Mercury, Nitro, and Kendrick look up as London comes sailing off the top rope to the outside with the London Calling! All four men are down. Once all four men are back in the ring, a brawl ensues. After a few moments, London has Mercury down and Kendrick has Nitro by the head. London hurries to the top rope and soars off with a 450 while at the same time, Kendrick this Nitro with the Sliced Bread No. 2! With the champions down, London and Kendrick play to the crowd a little bit. But that little bit is too much as before long, the champions attack them from behind. After a few seconds, however, Kendrick catches Mercury with a Superkick. While he’s down in the middle of the ring, London charges at Nitro and nails him with a Dropsault, which then in turn lands London right on top of Mercury! Beautiful! Now with Nitro down, Kendrick grabs London’s leg as if London just tried to kick him, and flips him over… London lands a Moonsault on Nitro! Mercury is getting to his feet now… OH!!! GET WELL SOON! London jumps on Nitro to hold him down as Kendrick goes for the cover on Mercury! 1... 2... 3! London and Kendrick have done it! We have new WWE Tag Team Champions!

Michael Cole and Tazz inform the viewing audience that his event will be taking place on July 16 from Indianapolis, Indiana. And, that we can watch it only on pay-per-view. As they finish talking, the cameras cut to the back to show William Regal with a huge grin on his face. Next to him is Josh Matthews.

Josh: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with William Regal, who has demanded interview time after his win over Burchill earlier this evening.

Regal: That’s right you bloody wanker. Burchill humiliated me for weeks on end, and I finally got my bloody revenge here tonight! In fact, I feel like…

Voice From Off-Screen: I’m sorry. I’m not interrupting you am I?

The camera pans over to reveal the former World Heavyweight Champion, Batista standing there in a nice suit with a smile on his face.

Batista: Well isn’t that just too bad. I’d like to see you beat Burchill without those brass knuckles, Regal.

Regal: Brass knuckles? What in the bloody hell are you talking about?

Batista: Heh. You know what, Regal? It’s almost time for the former World Heavyweight Champion to make a full time return. Don’t you think?

Regal: Not really.

Batista: Haha. I like you, Regal. You make me laugh. But as much as I like you… I think I’d like to kick you ass even more. So, when I make my return in just over a month… at the Great American Bash… I’m gonna be looking at YOU from across the ring. For all of about four seconds. One second to Batista Bomb you, and then three seconds to beat you. I’ll see you soon.

Batista smiles and then walks off screen as Regal looks scared as hell. The camera pans down to reveal that Regal has indeed pissed himself.

Mr. Kennedy vs. The Undertaker

The cameras cut back to the arena as MISTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…… KENNEDY…………… Kennedy! Mr. Kennedy’s music hits the speakers, and he makes his way out from the back. Kennedy looks absolutely terrified as he climbs into the ring and his music is cut off by the GONG! The arena goes black and smokes starts to sift up from the ground. The Graveyard Symphony comes over the speakers and The Undertaker emerges from behind the curtain. A good three minutes or so later, The Undertaker finally gets to the damn ring steps and the lights fade on as he steps into the ring. Mr. Kennedy flees to ring side as Undertaker removes his coat and hat. Undertaker stares him down as he paces back and forth on the outside. Kennedy starts to climb onto the apron. Undertaker takes a step forward and Kennedy jumps back off. Kennedy moves to another side of the ring and slides in. As soon as he slides in, he slides right back out when Undertaker takes another step toward him. Kennedy isn’t sure what to do as he paces around the ring. Finally, Kennedy tells himself it’s okay, and he slides into the ring. He gets to his feet and starts running at Undertaker. Undertaker takes a step, and Kennedy runs right on past him and slides back out of the ring. This time, Kennedy crawls under the ring, scared to death. A few moments pass and nothing happens. Undertaker begins to walk around the ring, looking for Kennedy no the outside. Kennedy slowly creeps out from under the ring and slides in behind The Undertaker. Kennedy charges at him and attacks him from behind! Kennedy gets in a number of shots and this match is underway. Kennedy maintains control for a few moments before Undertaker starts to over power him. Undertaker gets the upper hand and dominates for a couple of minutes, hitting him with all of his trademark moves except for the Chokeslam and the Tombstone. Kennedy, to his credit, keeps getting back up and won’t quit. After a while, Kennedy starts to get in a few shots, which leads to him gaining all of the offense. However, every time he hits a move, Undertaker sits right back up. Kennedy doesn’t have a clue what to do to keep the dead man down. After hitting damn near every move he could think of and to no avail, Kennedy slides out of the ring and pulls a… a shovel? He pulls a shovel out from under the ring. What the hell? Kennedy climbs back into the ring and before he can even do anything, Undertaker grabs him, causing him to drop the shovel, and sends him into the ropes. BIG BOOT! Kennedy quickly gets back to his feet and Undertaker hoists him up on his shoulder. It looks like Undertaker is going for the Tombstone! NO! Kennedy wiggles his way free and picks up the shovel. Kennedy yells at the referee to LOOK! WHY?! Kennedy swings like a major leaguer and BLASTS Undertaker in the face with the shovel! WHAT IN THE HELL?! The referee obviously calls for the disqualification and Kennedy has a huge smile on his face. Kennedy climbs out of the ring and heads to the back as Undertaker sits up, blood pouring down his face. Undertaker stares down Kennedy as he walks toward the back.

Holy freaking god! Benoit beat Mysterio! Steller match between the two and the fact that Mysterio didn't actually tap out shows heart.

I liked how Regal cheated to beat Burchill and Regal/Batista will be an interesting match/feud.

Lashley over Angle was a huge upset, and Kennedy getting himself disqualified was a good way to keep him from getting pinned/not making Undertaker look weak

pretty good PPV, really looking forward to what you can pull out with Vengeance, and especially Great American Bash

One question though, will we be seeing a draft anytime soon?

I have other things in mind for how I want to handle "draft" like situations... i personally am not a huge fan of the draft because it uproots a lot of storylines and fueds and people being moved around every year gets really annoying... i have other ideas... i dont know when they will come into play, but when it comes to people switching shows, it will be handled much differently.

Just read the diary from start to finish and have to say that this is one hell of a diary...

Judgment Day wasnt that surprising after reading the rest of the results and you've definately got the Smackdown! brand heading in the right direction... For some reason I see Taker vs Mr. Kennedy in a Buried Alive match somewhere soon... Batista and Regal will definately be good as well, hoping you dont completely squash Regal though...

Kepp up the brilliant work man...

New Outlook On Life

May 29, 2006

Last week, before RAW went off the air, after weeks of hesitation, John Cena finally attacked Triple H. However, after doing so, he went on a verbal tirade toward the fans. Before attacking Triple H, John Cena made an attempt at attacking WWE Champion, Edge, but mistakenly attacked Rob Van Dam, costing him his match against Edge. With only two weeks to go until Vengeance, it looks as though John Cena is making more enemies than friends. What’s in store for these four superstars this week?

Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho both won their respective matches last week, and succeeded in keeping away from one another. This week, WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon has signed a “tag team” match to take place. The match will pit Vince McMahon himself, Shane McMahon, and Chris Jericho against Shawn Michaels and Goldust. Will Shawn Michaels be able to overcome the odds in this “tag team” match that Vince McMahon has signed?

Last Monday, Kane informed the world that he will be taking on Big Show in a First Blood Match at Vengeance. Can these two monsters wait two weeks? Also, Chris Masters walked out on his partner, Shelton Benjamin, during their tag team match last week. The teams will be altered this week when Chris Masters teams up with his former ally, Carlito, to take on the team of Chavo Guerrero and the Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin.

Due to their large brawl backstage last week, The Spirit Squad, The V Spot, and Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch have all be banned from the building this week. This is an attempt to keep the three tag teams from assaulting one another and jeopardizing the World Tag Team Title match at Vengeance.

All this and much more on Monday Night RAW (9/8 CT; USA Network).
