Monday Night RAW

From the Hammerstein Ballroom, New York.

The Heartbreak Kid is not your Boy Toy The first RAW in history kicks off with Shawn Micheals, standing in front of a combined red and black screen with the RAW logo on. He starts talking about himself, how good he is and how great he is - and of course heightening the fact that he is the Intercontinental champion. After the self-hype, he proceeds to talk about Bret Hart. He says that even if he is the champion, Micheals will not hesitate on making some sweet chin tunes. He says that tonight Hart is going to the fight of his life and Micheals can't garuantee if he is going to win it.

Tatanka vs. Razor Ramon Tatanka comes out with his usual war-dance, while the announcers hype the fact that he has'nt lost a match yet. Ramon emerges, accompanied by boo's and heat. The match begins with a collar and elbow tie up. Ramon takes the lead with a side headlock, followed by a takedown. Ramon continues to ground Tatanka, using foot stomps, chinlocks and facelocks. Afterwards, he drags Tatanka to his feet and tries a suplex. But Tatanka counters into a suplex of his own! Tatanka is in control as he beings stomping away at Ramon. He lands two elbow drops, before walking back to the corner and climbing to the second rope. As Ramon gets up, Tatanka leaps towards him and hits a tomahwak chop. Ramon is down as Tatanka goes for a cover. Though only gets a two count. Tatanka grabs Ramon and drags him up, but Ramon fights back! He delivers two open handed slaps and a right ahdn, before bouncing off the ropes and taking Tatanka down with a running clothesline. Ramon is back in control and begins grounding Tatanka again. But after a few minutes Tatanka, with the help of the crowd, slowly backs up and breaks out of a Ramon sleeper hold. He fights out it and gets Ramon in an arm wringer, before delivering a chop. And another one. And another one! He finishes it with a tomahawk chop, before hitting a bodyslam. Tatanka feels it as he beings his war-dance around Ramon. And as he staggers to his feet, Tatanka is quick to grab him and hit the Indian Death Drop. He covers and gets the three count.

Don't hurt his machismo! As Tatanka celebrates his victory in the ring, Ramon realises what has just happenend. Without Tatanka noticing, he slides out of the ring and grabs the ring-bell. He climbs back into the ring, but the referee tries to stop him. Ramin just oushes him aside, spins Tatanka around and plants the bell rigth in the face of Tatanka. He falls to the ground, already bleeding from the nose. Ramon drops the bell and rises his arms high, to the immense heat from the crowd.

Bam Bam Bigelow /w Luna Vachon vs. Virgil Bigelow and Luna comes walking out, both recieving heat from the crowd. Virgil comes out to little response and as he gets in the ring, Bigelow cheap shots with a big right hand. He grabs Virgil, lifts him up and press slams him down. Bigelow taunts him and the crowd, before landing a big legdrop. Bigelow gets up and taunts the crowd, before beginning a vicious stomping. After a short beatdown, he drags Virgil to his feet, but quickly sends him down again with a clothesline. The match continues with this way, until Bigelow climbs the ropes and lands a giant Top Rope Headbutt to Virgil. He covers and wins.

Money Inc.! Were coming for you! The camera switches backstage, where Todd Pettengill is standing alongside Rick and Scott Steiner. Scott immediately spill out that they are the ones facing Money Inc. tonight. It switches between Rick and Scott, both taunting Money Inc. and hyping themselvse and the match. They say that they are eager to begin and after another quick taunt, they both storm out of camera view.

The Steiner Brothers vs. Money Inc., for the WWF Tag Team titles Rick Steiner and IRS starts out. They proceed with a mixed style of power moves and submission holds. Both men has the advantage at some point, before they both tag out to their respective partner. The match conties to show power moves and various holds and locks. After a good ten minutes, it seem sthat the Steiners are gaining the advantage. Scott, who is the legal man, begins taking IRS down with clotheslines and grounding him with foot stopms and chin- and facelocks. He finally hits the Frankensteiner and covers. But suddenly, DiBiase comes running in with one of the belts and smashes it across the back of Scott's head. THe referee calls for the bell and declares the Steiner Brothers the winners, but also explains that due to the DQ, Money Inc. retains the belts. IRS and DiBiase quickly scatter to the back, before Rick and Scott can retaliate.

The Hart is out to get you Bret Hart is seen backstage, where he suddenly turns and faces the camera. He points out that Shawn Micheals can play hit little tunes all he wants, but that ain't gonna help him. After a taunting off Micheals, Bret vows that he will make The Heartbreak Kid tap out! With that, the camera fades back to the arena where Shawn Micheals music has just begun.

Bret Hart vs. Shawn Micheals A techincally sound match-up. In the beginning it was all Bret Hart, who used various tecnician style moves, like headlocks and facelocks. But also landed a few elbow drops and legdrops. He dominated Micheals and HBK only got few moves in. It continued this way, with most noteably; Hart locked in his patterned figure four leglock, hanging from the ring post. Micheals was on the verge of tapping but Hart released the hold just before. Afterwards he went into the ring again and continued to ground Micheals. Late in the match, Hart was posing but Micheals was able to get the top turnbuckle pad off. After his poses, Hart goes back for Micheals who then drop toe hold's Bret into the top ring post. The ref sees it and immediately goes for the pad, to put it back on. Meanwhile, Micheals has grabbed a chair. He quickly gets the ring and smashes the chair across the back of Hart. He throws the chair out again and sets up in the corner. Just as Hart staggers to his feet, Micheals hits the Sweet Chin Music and quickly covers for the three count. After the win, Micheals quickly grabs his Intercontinental title and hurries out of the ring. Hart is still down, slowly recuporating and looks angrily towards Micheals, who just smiles.

Im very skeptical on this one, Loved the area of 1993, to much weapon type involvement in the first raw, that stuff didnt happen as much then.

But, I always love seeing the beginning of the HBK era :), hopefully you like the Headliner!

WWF Superstars

From the Liacuras Center, Philadelphia.

Watch out for the Hitman After a small WWF themed opening, the camera fades in on a yellow background with the Superstars logo on it. Bret Hart is standing in the middle of the camera-view. He begins talking about Shawn Micheals and the controversial match they had last Monday. Then he proceeds to talk about the match they are going to have tonight. He points at the camera and promises that he is going to make the Heartbreak Kid tap out.

Crush vs. The Brooklyn Brawler Crush defeated Brooklyn Brawler following a pinfall after a Full-Nelson Slam.

Steiners! You got a price on your head! The camera switches back to the yellow background with the Superstars logo on, but this time it is Money Inc., Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster, standing in front of it. The begin taunting the Steiners clearifying how they beat them up on monday. After a trashing and another taunting of the brothers, they walk away while DiBiase lets out one of his evil grins.

Money Inc. vs. Well Dunn Money Inc. defeated Well Dunn, when Ted DiBiase made Steven Dunn submit to the Million Dollar Dream.

Is the machismo back up? Yet again, we go back to the yellow backgroun, this time with Razor Ramon. He quickly states that last monday was a fluke and he was'nt a 100%. He promises he'll get revenge and therefore challenges Tatanka to a rematch at RAW, next monday. And after he beats up him, Tatanka can go back to his weird triangle tent-thing. With that the interview ends and the camera fades back to the stage.

Razor Ramon vs. Jim Powers Razor Ramon defeated Jim Powers following a pinfall after the Razor's Edge.

The Heartbreak Kid and The Hitman After the match, the camera goes to the announce table, where Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan are seated. They bgein hyping up the main event and a small video package is also shown, showing the events from last monday. After that they say this is probably the biggest main event in Superstars history and that it will be a rocket-buster of a match. After a last hype is made, Shawn Micheals music sets off.

Bret Hart vs. Shawn Micheals As the RAW this was technically sound match. But this time it seemed that Micheals was more even with Hart. They both had their share of the match, with Hart taking the first half then Micheals slowly building up momentum towards the end. In the last five minutes, Micheals had just gotten Hart down on the mat and had just climbed the turnbuckle. He leaped in theair and hit a diving elbow drop. Afterwards, a clearly exhausted Micheals sat up in the corner for some Sweet Chin Music. But he prepared to hit it, Hart moved out of the way, tripped HBK and quickly locked in the Sharpshooter, much to the delight of the crowd. But eventually Micheals got to the ropes and Hart had to break it. But suddenly out of nowhere, Micheals was up and landed his Super Kick right to the chin of Bret Hart. Shawn covered, but Hart kicked out! As Micheals cursed and dragged Hart to his feet, Bret fought out, landed two punches, took Micheals down with a clothesline and locked in the Sharpshooter again! This time, HBK had no option but to tap out, giving a submission victory to the Hitman.

Official RAW Teaser

Just as Vince McMahon and Booby Heenan foresaw, the Superstars main event was a rocket-buster of a match. But after Shawn Micheals tapped out to the Sharpshooter, he was seen quickly leaving the arena, in a clearly angry and frustrated mood. But nonetheless, he has kept his calm and told that he has a special surprise, just for Bret Hart, this coming monday. What will this "gift" be, as Micheals calls it. Certainly, a glooming fate awaits the WWF champion, Bert Hart, this coming RAW.

Also, like last RAW, Money Inc. will be in action against The Smoking Gunns. But after the vicious statements Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster plunged out into the mainstream, will The Steiner Brothers have anything to say about them? It's certain that the situation has turned un-certain and the intensity between these two teams have sharped, overly much.

And last, Razor Ramon's challenge to Tatanka. Last monday, Tatanka cleanly beat Ramon and got him down for the one, two, three. But will Ramon have something up his sleeve this time? Tatanka has alredy showed incredible skill, with not being defeated since his debut. Will Ramon be the one to end this glorious streak? Or will another win be added to the impressive record? Tune in on monday, to get answers on this and much else. Remeber it is 9.00 p.m on the USA Network, but 9.30 p.m. on TSN.

Monday Night RAW

From the Hammerstein Ballroom, New York.

Remember, the gift! Like last RAW, the broadcasting starts off with Shawn Micheals, in front of a combined black and red background. He begins taunting Bret Hart, but half-way changes the subject to hs "gift". He says that it is really gonna be something special, straight from the heart. Micheals also says, that he dose'nt want to spoil anything and therefore Bret will have to wait to later tonight, to see the "gift".

The Headshrinkers vs. The Beverly Brothers A squash match. Whenever the Beverly Brothers tried to mount a comeback, they were grounded agian by Fatu and Samu. The match ended with a pinfall to the Headshrinkers, following a Top Rope Headbutt from Samu. Also, Afa interfered several times on the HEadskrinkers behalf, without the referee noticing.

It's called a tipi After the match, Razor Ramon comes out to the ring. He asks out, if Tatanka has made a decision regarding his challenge. A few seconds of silence and Ramon breaks out into laughter and says that he knew that Tatanka did'nt have the guts. But then suddenly, the native american's music starts and he war-dances out of the curtain. He stops mid-way in the aisle and says into a microphone; "Ramon? It's called a tipi." With that, Tatanka rushes into the ring and attacks. A ref is soon on the spot and the match can begin.

Razor Ramon vs. Tatanka The match starts with a brawl that goes both outside the ring and into the crowd. After the men comes back to the ring, Ramon seem sto slowly takes the advantage. After a few minutes, Ramon is in control and grounds Tatanka. He stomps wildly and uses suplexes to take Tatanka out while using headlocks, armbars and various other moves, to ground the native american to the mat. But suddenly the momentum swings as Ramon sets up for the Razor's Edge. Tatanka suddenly counters it into a backslaide and almost gets the three count. After this Tatanka takes control using a sidewalk-slam, followed by some brutal elbow drops. FOllowing this Tatanak builds up more and more momentum, but as he prepare to hit the Indian Death Drop, Ramon counters and sets Tatanka up for the RAzor's Edge. But again Tatanka counters with a backslide, to this get the three count and the victory.

Can you feel the Rumble? A video is played, showing highlights from last years Royal Rumble. He dominated Billy and frequently tagged in to IRS. But after a good five minutes or so, The Steiner Brothers suddenly comes in and begins interfering. Rick and Scott Steiner begins brawling with IRS and DiBiase and the match is stopped due to the interference. But the brawl between the two teams continues out of view, to the backstage.

Okay, lets see that gift! Bret Hart comes out to immense pop. He waves and gives his sunglasses to a little boy sitting at the front row, a trademark entrance moves for him. Bret then gets in the ring, gets a mic and calls out Shawn Micheals. He also says that he is fed up with waiting and wants to know what Micheals has up his sleeve. Micheals comes out to huge boos and heat, but is dose'nt faze him and he struts up to the ring. Micheals then hangs his Intercontinental belt on the ring post and says, intot he mic he has, if Bret REALLY wants his gift. Hart replies with a nod and a yes. Then Micheals oddly takes a step backwards. Nothing happens, as Bret just stares confused at Micheals. Then suddenly, Hart is smashed to the canvas by an enourmous forearm. Yokozuna is guilty of that. The crowd boos immensely as Yokozuna bounces off the ropes and delivers a butt drop. Micheals taps Yokozuna on the shoulder but just recivese an angry look. Micheals then backs away and shakes hands with Mr. Fuji instead. RAW goes off the air as Mr. Fuji raises both Micheals and Yokozuna's arms in the air.

Again, sorry to ruin your fun, but Yoko and Micheals are'nt gonna team up. Never. Ever.

This is just beause Yokozuna is a big, bulky heel and Micheals is a top heel and Micheals is feuding with Bret. Yokozuna is likely going to move on to another sotryline soon, but by this time he is going into the Bret and Micheals feud.

Micheals was announced as being in Yokozuna's corner, as the sumo crawled in the ring and Micheals placed himself by a ring-post. Then Bret Hart came in to a huge ovation, but he did'nt venture to the ring immediately. Suddenly, Howard Finkel announced that in Bret Hart's corner would be, none other then, Owen Hart! As he came out the two quickly rushed to the ring. The match began with Owen in Bret's corner and Micheals in Yokozuna's corner. The match started with Yokozuna taking control, as it looked like Hart had'nt expected the awesome strength of the sumo warrior. It continued this way, with Yokozuna having the advantage in about five minutes. Then suddenly, the momentum swang as Hart took Yokozuna down with a drop toe hold and quickly locked in an inverted figure four leglock! Though Yokozuna was'nt going to tap out, it was enough for Bret to get the momentumon his side. He kept Yokozuna on the mat, grounding him. He used several elbow drops, legdrops and headlocks. But then, when Bret was about to land a running legdrop and bounced off the ropes, Micheals grabbed Harts foot! Owen immediately saw this, was quickly in the ring, sprinted to the other side and suicide dived right into Micheals! But Yokozuna saw his chance and suddenly he had Bret sat up and hit the Banzai Drop! The crowd began booing immensely as Yokozuna delivered a second Banzai Drop. Meanwhile, on the outside, Owen and Micheals had engaged in a brutal brawl. But Suddenly Owen's hair was grabbed and Yokozuna pulled him into the ring!
