Sunday Night Heat

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Sunday Night Heat! I am Kevin Kelly and I am joined here tonight with Al Snow. Al, we have a very interesting show tonight..."

"Definately Kevo, tonight we have Marc Mero making his return to the WWF squared circle against Crash Holly as well as appearances from Christian, Lance Storm, and god knows who else!"

"And it looks like we're kicking off right now!"

This is Totally Unbelievable

The show kicks off with a miserable looking Christian making his way to the ring, a slight "Christian Sucks" chant echoing through the ring as he grabs a mic ringside. Christian tells the fans to shut up and listen because what he's got to say is more important than the puny lives of anyone in this arena. Christian says that last week, he came out to the ring because he was being disrespected by the World Wrestling Federation. Christian says that the WWF European Champion should be respected. He's a God Damn Champion. He said that he even proved that he is way about the average wrestler when he "humiliated" Perry Saturn last week. But for some reason, nobody listened. Nobody gave a damn! And then it hit him. Christian said that he is disrespected because he is a 225lbs and 6ft 1 and that Vince McMahon wouldn't piss on a small wrestler if they were on fire. "Why?" Christian asks the fans. Christian believes it because Vince McMahon confuses small Wrestlers with the ECW rejects that have a chip on their shoulder and that unlike people like Tazz and The Sandman, he is actually a Wrestler and he doesn't need to assault himself with a Singapore Cane to get himself over. Bring out, Tommy Dreamer, coupled with his singapore cane and microphone who stands at the entrance of the ramp looking bewildered at the aqusations Christian has just made. Dreamer tells Christian to bear with him because he needs to digest exactly what he just said. Christian said he's not suprised as unlike the WWF, the ECW lockeroom past times of popping pills and smoking dope must have really done people like Dreamer some serious brain damage. Dreamer comments that Christian has got a really big mouth for a guy that is subdued to the WWF B Show to which Christian aggressively responds that he hardly feels that getting squashed by Test on Smackdown classifies Dreamer as having a solid WWF career. Dreamer says that it's sad to see a guy so delusional as Christian but he tells the fans not to fear as Dreamer promises to beat some sense into him. Dreamer drops his mic and starts to make his way down to the ring, grasping his singapore cane as Christian continues to shout abuse telling Dreamer that if he wants a piece of him, he's more than happy to oblige, Dreamer slides into the ring and we have a match.

Christian Vs. Tommy Dreamer

Christian starts off on the offensive taking advantage by kicking Dreamer in the gut before taking him down with a snapmare. Christian takes down Dreamer again quickly with a dropkick before taunting the crowd like he's the greatest guy in the WWF. Christian wanted to end this match following up a basic offensive move with a gutbuster drop landing Dreamer hard on his knee before going for the cover but Christian only gets a 2. Christian, unhappy with the fact he didnt get a three chokes Dreamer on the ground only to get broke up by the referee. Christian continues to taunt the crowd as Christian shows how much control he has in this match when chucks Dreamer out of the ring to huge disapproval from the crowd. Christian even goes as far as to climb the the turnbuckle and bash his chest. Christian turns eventually noticing Dreamer getting up and decides its time for a suicide splash..but Dreamer catches him lifting up into the air before Gorrilla Pressing Christian onto the ring barricade. Kevin Kelly comments that Christian's head just bounced hard against that barricade and he must have suffered some bad whiplash. Dreamer rolled Christian back into the ring, before eventually making the cover but somehow, Christian managed to get the shoulder up. Dreamer got up and stomped away on Christian. Dreamer's offense came to the end when and irish whip came back badly, Christian sticking his thumb into Dreamer's eye before twisting Dreamer round into the Unprettier getting the 3 totally against the run of play. Christian bt. Tommy Dreamer at. 7.40-(KOTW Score - ***)(Christian over with the crowd again and it's probably only going to be a matter of time before he's back on RAW and Smackdown).

After the match Christian climbs back up the turnbuckle trading words with fans pointing at his chest. "Looks like someone think's he is important" remarks Kevin Kelly. Al Snow agrees and says its only a matter of time before Christian picks the wrong fight with the wrong person. He just hopes that wrong person is him.

Vengeance Hype: WWF Intercontinental Championship Match - Edge© Vs. Shawn Stasiak

Kevin Kelly and Al Snow revist the last week of the Shawn Stasiak/Edge feud...

Raw Is War

Is Edge a Coward?

Stasiak tells the crowd that they just have to grin and bear him because he knows they don't want him there and if he's honest, he doesn't want to see them either. After all he says, he is groomed for fame and the people in the crowd are groomed for doing things like cleaning his pool and dry cleaning his clothes. Stasiak asked the crowd if they knew what "Breaking Kayfabe" was before taking it back and saying that he apolgised for expecting too much. He explained that breaking kayfabe is basically when someone such as an actor or a wrestler breaks out of their gimmick to show their real self. Stasiak said that is exactly what he is doing now. Stasiak said that when he was in the Alliance, Stephanie and Shane McMahon did everything they could to put him down. He said they intentionally made him look a fool because they didn't want him to get a break. Stasiak tells the crowd that everyone that wants to put him down can shove it because he is a Second Generation Wrestler. He is the "Perfect Athlete" and that if anyone is "Mr. Perfect", it's him, not Curt Hennig. Stasiak says that's why Edge is scared of him, because deep down, Edge knows that he can't beat him. "Edge is nothing but a coward". Bring on Edge who makes his way to the ring, microphone in hand and Intercontinental Title in the other. Edge gets into the ring and raises his Championship to the crowd before dropping it to the floor and turning his attention to Stasiak smiling. Edge looks bemused and tells Stasiak, that he wants to ask Stasiak face to face, man to man if he still thinks he's a coward? Stasiak looking slightly regretful, eventually answers bashfully with a "yeah sure I do". Edge tells Stasiak and the crowd that he guesses the cat is out of the bag and that he didn't want it to come out like this, but since he's been left no choice, he guesses that he has no choice but to "confess" and that confession is.......BAM! SPEAR BY EDGE ON STAISAK! The crowd go wild as Stasiak is flattened by Edge is spear. The crowd go wild as Edge straightens himself off before grabbing hold of his championship belt and raising it the crowd one more time as his music plays. Edge looks over at the floored Stasiak one more time and shakes his head before climbing out of the ring and walking up the ramp. Serves himself right exclaims JR but King is less impressed. "How can you attack a guy of Stasiak's credentials? Sure, he's a bit of a jackass but he's a second generation wrestler." King can't believe how disrespectful Edge is. JR says that Edge is great champion and that he is sure that if Stasiak wants a shot, Edge will give him a shot cos Edge is a fighting Champion.

Smackdown

Match 3: Shawn Stasiak Vs. Perry Saturn

(KOTW Note - The clip starts from half way through the match). Saturn went up top and went for the Saturnsault but Stasiak was well scouted and he rolled out of the way, Saturn landing hard against the mat. Saturn was then hit with a huge fishman DDT by Stasiak followed by a rolling neck snap. Stasiak taunts the crowd telling that he's the greatest, before turning around to the flattened Saturn. Stasiak wants to end this match and jumps up and down on the spot. Saturn doesn't know where he is......Stasiak hits Saturn with a fisherman's suplex with the bridge for the three. Shawn Stasiak bt. Perry Saturn at 7:46-(KOTW Score - ***)(Good technical match with Stasiak on the offense most of the time. Saturn is also getting over with the fans)

After the match Stasiak grabs a mic and returns to the ring telling the audience that they have just witnessed first hand the genius that is Shawn Stasiak, the Mecca of Manhood. Stasiak then goes on to say that he's had time to think about what Edge did on RAW and that right now, he'd love nothing more than to beat the holy hell out of Edge. However, Stasiak clarifies, there is a time and a place for that sort of a match and it's not in a dump like this place. Stasiak issues a challenge to Edge. 1 v 1 at Vengeance for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. This sparks the arrival of the WWF Intercontinental Champion who sports a huge grin. Edge tells Stasiak that if he wants to get his ass kicked, then he's more than happy to supply it. Edge confirms that at Vengeance, he and Stasiak will go one on one for the Intercontinental Championship.

We got a 6.84 rating for 'RAW'!

The attendance level was 7536 people.

We made $301440 from ticket sales.

The person with the biggest gain in heat and overness this week was definately Shawn Stasiak who is exceeding all expectations currently. Mero's debut was also regarded as a success.

The best match of the night by far was Kurt Angle Vs. Chris Jericho in the Round Robin Tournament which recieved an 85. All the Angle and Jericho segments also scored high giving an overall score for RAW of 79%. However, it should also be noted that the RAW ratings have dropped since last week.

We got a 5.84 rating for 'Smackdown!'!

The attendance level was 7501 people.

We made $300040 from ticket sales.

The Best of the night was once again the Kurt Angle/Chris Jericho Match when they face Funaki and Val Venis in a team bonding session (OR:83). The Shawn Stasiak challenge also went over well with the fans and the fans definately enjoyed the Test/Dreamer match. The high scorers of the night were the Round Robin Related Segments, giving Smackdown an overall score of 74%

We got a 1.13 rating for 'Heat'!

The attendance level was 8015 people.

We made $320600 from ticket sales.

The Match of the Night was Christian Vs. Tommy Dreamer at 72%, with Marc Mero's return match also scoring highly. The show generally was an improved product from last week's show with an overall score this week of 70%

Overall, the WWF is still going in the right direction, with the show intending to pick up pace in the next 2 weeks before our first PPV, Vengeance. We hope also that the viewing figures recorded this week will be on the rise with next weeks edition of the WWF and that the WWF Championship scene continues to unravel.

Till next week, keep tuned and Enjoy!

Well time for a 2nd round of feedback Dave & let me say, after reading what Jstarr has said, it's almost completly turned me off your diary.

But anyways, your decision to get rid of the Round Robin tourney was a bit pointless, unless you get Linda to come in & do something that is for the good of the fans. Otherwise, meh.

Test looked a bit weak against 'Taker, but you might be able to change that in the coming shows. Kane as a heel is good, hope he goes onto bigger things after Team Extreme.

WWF in possible lawsuit over end of show

The World Wrestling Federation caused uproar on the 22/11/2001 involving the cancelation of one of the main attractions to the show, between Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Steve' Stone Cold Steve Austin' Williams. According to the "Card" of scheduled performers, the World Wrestling Federation had promised to have the final outcome of a round robin tournament between the superstars to decide the fate of a Wrestling Title. However, for the sake of the storyline, the Chairman of the company, once Vince McMahon Jr, Some of the late great Wrestling Promoter, Vince McMahon Sr. "cancelled" the match, upsetting many of the fans, who had paid just to see this match against two of their favorite performers and consequently, they felt that they did not get value for money. A Spokesman for the World Wrestling Federation said that the card clearly states that a WWF Wrestling Show is Subject to Change, because of possibly injury/change in storyline that might occur. However the company is sorry that people misinterpreted this clause on the card, but they won't have any legal stance on this. The outcomes of the change will be properly addressed on the forthcoming Monday Night Raw

Dear ALL Concerned,

My Name is Frank and I am your Wrestling Guru,

I am to Bradshaw as Kryptonite is to Superman. That's right. I'm every crappy wrestlers, bad production and writing team, and bookers nightmare. I am the guy that KNOWS it ALL.

I have been holding back recently on the writing anything about the current status of the World Wrestling Federation for many reasons, one, I was so disgusted I banned myself from watching Wrestling for a week and secondly, because the basement where my Mom lets me keep my computer was infested with termites. Damn insects. For all you Entomologists (that's insect biologists for all those who didn't know you n00b), I have included a picture ofa termite for you in my blog.

Cool eh?

Anyway, back to Wrestling, or Wrastlin as Ted Turner once called it (Ted Turner IS the man....personally he was screwed by Vine McMahon, I don't care what anyone says) and how crap has the WWF been recently. Firstly, what is going on with the storylines? I watched Survivor Series and it said WINNER TAKES ALL! and WHOEVER LOSES WILL BE OUT OF A JOB! So, I watched the show, marking for my boys the Alliance (while they've been badly portrayed and totally not like classic WCW and ECW, which I loved btw), I'd rather have them win than the stupid WWF. But hey, BAM! to my utter huge suprise, the WWF won. I give that * out of 5 because that is just stupid. Stone Cold and Rob Van Dam totally owned the Main Event for the last 3 months. Anywho, I turn on to my weekly (the only wrestling show on tv now I might add other than Smackdown, and Heat, and lets face it, who watches heat-my review of heat follows later) and Wrestlers who were supposed to be JOBLESS were Wrestling and Where was the Undertaker? Personally, I hope he goes back to his Deadman gimmick cos this American Badass thing sucks. Sorry WWF, your writers suck. Anywho, so all these guys are Wrestling, and I'm like W00t, but I let it go cos my dinner wont be ready for 40 minutes and my Mom is in the house so she won't let me watch porn. So, yeah, I watched it, Vince McMahon is champion (egomaniac, i mean, why not put the title on Lance Storm or Chris Jericho or someone who can actually wrestle), but no, they put it on Vince McMahon. So fine, Wrestling show was adequate but meh. Plus, The Rock and Austin just drop their titles. Damn, I never knew the Chairman had so much power. They should have explained it at least, why he didnt want a unification match and just have Rock Vs. Austin. So I watch Smackdown and we get a round robin tournament, a round robin tournament? man thats so pathetic, why not just have Vengeance and have the four guys who the big grudges against each other fight! Winner = World Title. Makes Sense Boys, whats wrong with you bookers. Shawn Stasiak is getting a push! THAT SUCKS! He was crap in WCW, and he was Crap in WWF before that. Marc Mero is coming great. Overall, 2 half decent matches, but show still sucked. Didn't bother watching that weeks Heat, couldnt be assed. So i boycotted Wrestling for a week, came back and the round robin tournament was still going on. I found out that Chris Jericho can't win the WWF title. Obviously WWF are jobbing him out again, I turned the channel over during some of the crappy matches but I came back just in time to see Jericho beat Angle. I think thats screwed up booking. Angle > Jericho. Put the belt on Angle damn it not Rock or Austin. My mate told me that Marc Mero debutted and I heard he sucked. So final show Smackdown with the Round Robin Finale. Rock and Austin doesnt happen, Vince remains Champion with no challengers. Personally, I think they should use this opportunity to bring someone like Brett Hart to come back and have a one on one encounter with Vince and screw him back for screwing him over. Vince if you are reading this, there's money. Bradshaw, if you're reading this. You suck and should retire. PS. Go to Hell. The rest of the show was adequate but Justin Credible needs to be off TV as he's being misused. I watched HeAT this week to see my favorite Wrestler Christian beat Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer should quit and join an indy promotion because he's cheated on WWF. Lance Storm dances (crap storyline) and Marc Mero wins a match...suprise suprise.

I heard in the Papers today that people were going to sue the WWF about the card change with the Round Robin Tournament. I hope they sue him for everything he is worth because he cheats fans all across the world with his stupid antics and taking from me the only thing I love, competition. I hope Ted Turner comes back and destroys McMahon.

Anyway, till next time,

Raw Is War Preview

Succumbing To It All

The last week on Smackdown was nothing short of a shock to WWF fans worldwide...to the extent where WWF Fans may not even call themselves WWF Fans anymore. However, the World Wrestling Federation have promised to give a % refund for all those disgruntled fans that complained about the outcome of last week's show. In addition to the refund, Vince McMahon wishes to make a public statement with regards to what happened last week with a guarantee that by the end of the night, all the fans will know exactly what to expect in the future. Only one match has been guaranteed for tonight's show and that match is between the WWF European Champion Christian and Rikishi who is making his return to the WWF after a long absence. Who know's what will happen tonight? Find out only on RAW, live on TNN

Joel Gertner Backstage

Joel Gertner has been seen hanging around backstage at RAW today. While it is uncertain why Joel Gertner is backstage, most believe that it's because he is visiting friends. Joel Gertner was a manager/broadcaster of Extreme Championship Wrestling. During his tenure with ECW, Gertner managed the Dudley Boyz and is probably best known during this time for sporting a neck brace which he argued he needed after being attacked by the Eliminators. Joel Gertner also coined many lines during his time as a colour commentator including 'the Quintessential Studmuffin'.....

Raw Is War

WWF RAW starts off with the pyro works exploding at the entrance of the arena

"Ladies and Gentlemen, WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW! I am Jim Ross alongside Jerry the King Lawler, King tonight is going to be one of the strangest nights in WWF history"

"JR I know what you mean, Mr McMahon has refused to tell any of the staff about his plans for tonight, tonight seems to be completely revolved around him"

"For all those unaware of the situation, last week on Smackdown, Vince McMahon interupted the Main Event, a match that was originally scheduled to be between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin to declare who the new Number 1 Contender for the WWF Championship was,and cancelled the tournament due to the 'unjust' actions of the Superstars involved"

"But that wasn't even the start of the troubles J.R. After the event, the World Wrestling Federation had been subject to a number of complaints from fans of the show who felt they were CHEATED by the actions of the WWF and have threatened LEGAL ACTION against the company, frankly I find that absolutely ridiculous! The card says SUBJECT TO CHANGE! how stupid can people be?"

"Well King, No matter Mr. McMahon PROMISES to straighten out this confusion tonight, ONLY ON RAW!"

The Situation Ahead

The show opens with WWF Champion and Chairman of the board, Vince McMahon coming to the ring and grabbing a microphone. JR comments that Vince McMahon is expected to apologise to the fans for the situation on last week on Smackdown. However, King clarifies that nobody actually knows that and that he hopes that Vince McMahon tells the fans to just try and sue him, because he'll destroy them, but like he destroyed WCW and ECW. Vince McMahon stands in the ring looking very unhappy to be here asking the fans to "Shut their damn Mouths" as he wanted to make his statement. Vince started off by going over the situation, saying that after the Invasion was over, he had to make a decision. Vince McMahon said that the original agreement between the Alliance/WWF prior to Survivor Series was that an Superstar, whether they be WCW, ECW or WWF would remain in the company, if they held a Championship belt. However, Vince then explains that when he agreed that term, he said that this didn't mean that the Wrestler neccesarily would hold the title if he was on the losing side. Vince said all it guaranteed them was definate job security and as far as Stone Cold Steve Austin goes, he is still with the company, and that's the end it. On the same token, he said that he refused to give the WCW Championship, no matter what history it may have had, the satisfaction of surviving post Survivor Series if the WWF won. And since that did happen, Vince said his first amibition would be to destroy all the remaining evidence of WCW, and then using the staff as he sees fit. Hell. Everyone here knows that some of the Alliance roster were draws and Vince says that if he can find any extra way to make money, then by God he was going to do it. And no one in this audience, hell, no one in the World can tell him he is Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Vince then turns his attention to the Main Event, last week on Smackdown. Vince McMahon says that he is aware that he may have caused some, unhappy feelings amongst fans because they didn't get to see there favorite superstars in action. However, as far as Vince McMahon is concerned, HE DOESN'T CARE. Vince went on to say that when he was in the Monday Night Wars, Vince McMahon was forced to produce shows that the fans would like. However, big news! The World Wrestling Federation won. Vince guarantees that from now on the show will be the way he wants it and if the fans arent down with that, then why not go and watch some of the indy crap around. Vince says that As for the Rock and Austin, they'll have a match tonight...but it won't be for the WWF Championship Number One Contendership. It will be a good old fashion Slobber knocker proclaims Vince. He says it's going to be an ARM WRESTLING MATCH! Vince says as for the other 2 contenders, he says that he doesn't really feel like booking Jericho tonight but as for Angle causing trouble last week on Smackdown, he can go ONE on ONE with Shawn Stasiak! Vince's music hits and he begins to leave the ring when he stops and turns back. He says, "Oh, one final thing, if you don't like tonights entertainment, the exits are clearly marked behind you!". Vince's music hits one more time and Vince makes his way out of the area. J.R. says that Vince's power has finally got to his head while the King stands on his feet clapping. (KOTW Note - Setting the Ground For the Future It would Seem)The show then goes to a comerical break.

Match 1: WWF European Championship Match - Christian Vs. Rikishi

-(KOTW Note- Christian comes out first and gets on the mic immediately stating that it's about time that he's been treated like he is an important part of this company. Christian says that in case anyone hasn't noticed, he is the WWF European Champion and in this buisness that means big bucks. He says he's got what is called natural charisma and that he doesn't need to weight a tonne and wear a big thong with his name on it to make people notice him. Bring on Rikishi who gets a big cheer from the crowd on his return). Christian unhappy that he's been interupted immedietly goes for Rikishi with his European Championship belt before the belt but Rikishi counters to everyone's delight fighting back with some of hands to the face of Christian. Christian is down on the floor before he knows it, when a failed irish whip, the result of an eye rake, was countered and Christian gets lifted for a painful looking Samoan drop by Rikishi, Christian bouncing up and down off the ground before Rikishi gets a failed pin attempt. Christian gets back to his feet but is immedietly hit with a huge headbutt from Rikishi knocking Christian before Rikishi hits him with a belly to belly suplex getting a very near three count from the referee. Christian nearly gets hit with a sit down splash by Rikishi seconds later but Christian realises the impending doom and quickly moves out of the way rolling to the outside of the ring as Rikishi gets up screaming words at him for nearly crushing him. Christian calls Rikishi "sick" and begins to walk away from the the ring as the ref counts down. Christian knows that Rikishi can't win by count out. Rikishi jumps out of the ring as quickly as he can and starts the ref count out again and goes for Christian but Christian outsmarts him and beats Rikishi to the punch, only before hitting a sweet russian legsweep onto the ramp way. Christian the grabs Rikishi and whips him straight into the steel steps, a huge crash being heard. Christian gets back into the ring on the 6 and starts posing at the crowd, Rikishi nearly out when Christian, for some reason decides to go back breaking up the 10 count and starts beating Rikishi who is down on the outisde. Christian rolls Rikishi back into the ring and taunts him, knowing that Rikishi shouldn't be able to come back from this. Rikishi gets up, and gets a kick to the gut, Christian turns him and goes for the Unprettier, but Rikishi counters the move!!!!! Christian turns around and gets hit with a huge Savate Kick, getting a huge cheer from the crowd! J.R. and King both can't believe it as Rikishi drags Christian into the corner! J.R. realises that Rikishi could do it, right here, right now! Rikishi climbs the turnbuckle!!!! BANZAI DROP ON CHRISTIAN! Rikishi has the pin............1..................2.......................3 We have a winner! Rikishi bt. Christian at 7.65 to become the NEW WWF EUROPEAN CHAMPION![KOTW Score: **3/4)(KOTW Note - Rikishi went over well with the crowd and looks to be a worthy WWF European Champion)

After the match, Rikishi climbs the turnbuckle and raises the WWF European Championship, the fans genuinly happy the the Phat Man has returned. J.R. claims that he's utterly delighted to have that old son of a gun Rikishi back in the WWF. King says he just hopes that he brings the hos back, like he did in Summerslam 2000. JR asks King if there is ever a time he doesn't think about women? King looks back blankly at J.R.

I'm not afraid of the Undertaker

Test is backstage chatting to Stacy Keibler. He asks her why she hasn't been hanging around with Dudley Boyz lately and that he thought she was the "Duchess of Dudleyville". Stacy laughed and said that she was but since Paul Heyman had left, she said that term had left her feeling cold and sad that the fact the Alliance had lost and that she needed a change of scenary. Test said that the Dudleyz must have thought that, that was a big loss but Stacy reassured him that they are too enthralled in this Spike/APA thing that they hardly cared. Stacy asked how the Taker thing was going, to which Test responded that it's nothing to worry about. He said that unlike a lot of the people in this business, he can honestly say that he is NOT scared of the Undertaker. However, that isn't important. Test proposed that since she wanted a change of scenary and that he was looking for an assistant, that she might be the thing he is looking for. Stacy said that she'd think about but now...she has to go...she's got some err business. Stacy rushed off and Test had a smug look..."yeah...she want's me". Test's arrogance was quickly ended by Steven Richards who came up to Test asking him if he'd got his CDs. "Shit" Test thought, "they're in my car". Test told Richards to wait here and made his way through the corridors, bemoaning that he wished he'd never borrowed Richards's Ace of Base Albums. "They're good he said...idiot". Test got to his car and popped open his trunk and grabbed hold of the CDs when the growl of a motorbike was heard. Test in a panic, dropped the CDs hard on the floor and turned around to check out who it was. "TAKER?!" shouted Test. "No Dude, It's Me...Chucky". Out of the bright light of the bike, appeared Chuck Palumbo next to a black motorcycle. "Isn't she sweet?" Chuck continued. Test was pissed, and he was just made look like a pussy...he had to respond in the only way a heel should...by beating the hell out of Chuck Palumbo. After Palumbo was down on the ground, Test swooped up the CDs cracked and broken on the floor shaking his head before walking up. However, after Test had left, the tall black figure of the Undertaker stepped outside of the shadows, a grin on his face. Taker took one look at Palumbo, shook his head and then walked off to the cheers of the crowd. Good One Test!

Match 2: Marc Mero Vs. Val Venis

(KOTW Note - At the start of the match, Marc Mero told the crowd that this next performance was in the honor of his "soon to be valet", Torrie Wilson. Mero is getting huge heat from the crowd. Also, Val Venis was out before Mero and his entrance wasn't seen on TV). Mero took control of this match quick, starting off with headlock before converting it into a springboard bulldog. Mero went for a quick cover but only got a 2. Mero continued the assault with a quick vertical suplex on Venis. Mero then got to his feet and taunted the ground before going for a running leg drop, but Venis escaped the move, in a stereotypical comedic fashion with Mero's drop, seeming to have a long hang time before reaching the ground. Both men got their feet quick but Venis went on the quick attack with some clotheslines before Mero ran into a spinebuster by Venis, Venis getting the crowd behind him. However, Venis, with the crowd support too much time with the cover and only got a 2 count on Mero. That was his first mistake. Venis's second mistake was thinking he could put away Mero so soon. After Venis a good fisherman's suplex on Mero, Venis went up top to end the match. However, Mero wasn't so willing and quickly hit the ropes to halt Venis's attack. Mero then hit a frankensteiner on Venis, Venis hitting the ground like a rag doll and the crowd started a Mero Sucks Chant. Mero waited in baited breath, soaking in all the hate from the crowd as Venis stumbled to his feet, before it was all said and done with the TKO for the 3 count. Marc Mero bt. Val Venis at 6.54. -(KOTW Score: ***)(KOTW Note - Mero over with the crowd again with Val Venis also starting to pick up overness).

After the match, Mero goes straight back from the microphone and says "Hey Torrie, That's the kiss that don't miss! I'm pretty, and he's ugly! and no one can beat the Marvellous One!" Mero's music hit again to the chorus of boos from the crowd as Mero climbed out of the ring, arms stretched enjoying his new found heat.

The cameras go back to the ring announcers, Jim Ross and King who discuss the show so far. King says that tonight is a revolutionary night in Sports Entertainment. J.R. says Vince McMahon has gone insane. King corrects JR saying its Mr. McMahon, followed by J.R's, "fine, Mr. McMahon has gone insane. J.R. says that the moment the owner of the minute that the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation loses interest in the fans, the people that helped build this great company, is the moment that this company begins to soil on the legacy of Vince's Daddy, Vince McMahon Snr. J.R. says its a disgrace and he is sick to his stomach. King says he's proud of Vince, King says that the fans are nothing but fat slobs that do nothing all day till Mr. McMahon puts some entertainment for themselves to make their lives worthwhile. They need to grow up and learn that life isnt catered for them. It was evident that the conversation became more and more heated.

My Life..Is like Nothing you could Possibly Imagine

We go backstage, to what looks like the boiler room where Kane is standing. Kane says that he's been watching what's been going on and that just like Vince McMahon, he know longer cares what the people think. Kane says that people want him to be a joke! a comedy figure! Funny Kane. But Kane says the one thing he is not is funny. He says that he has experienced things that the people would never understand. He said he was burnt alive in a funeral home, seeing his iligitimate father and mother burned alive, left for dead. But no one ever feels sorry for him. No one cares about Kane, because of who he is and what he looks like. He says the people only care about the beautiful people, the Matt and Jeff Hardy's off this world and that he hates them....he hates them for the fact that they are loved for being pretty instead of being loved because they are talented. They are the real jokes of this company. But the people won't allow that, the people love the Hardy Boyz. That's why, at Vengeance, if Jeff, Matt, or if the whole of Team Extreme want to see what it's like to be like Kane, then he'll be waiting for them. Because at Vengeance, he will show the Hardyz exactly while the people love them, and what it is like to be rejected from society. Soon, Kane will have his Vengeance.

The cameras return back to ringside and for the time being, J.R and King have halted arguing to just take in what they have just heard. King comments that if he was the Hardy Boyz and Lita, he'd chop up his bags and move to Mexico or something. At least that way they can keep their looks and hell, we all know how important looks are. J.R. took the normal route speaking about how sick Kane is. J.R. says that Kane can not be allowed to bully wrestlers like this and that they have to stand up to Kane. They just have to. King asks J.R. if he would step up against Kane? J.R. says hell no, he's not a wrestler. King adds the Hardyz dont have a wrestling match either, this is...this is close to GBH! Anywho, the next match is coming right up!

Match 3: Kurt Angle Vs. Shawn Stasiak

(KOTW Note - Before the wrestlers come down to the ring, Chris Jericho hits the ring joining the announce team telling them that he's hear to give moral support to his good buddy, Kurt Angle. Stasiak hits the ring first and is totally oblivious to Jericho, but Angle on the other has a look of concern). Angle and Stasiak lock up Stasiak making first blows with a t-bone suplex of an irish whip before spinning round mimmicking early Angle to the crowds distaste. Jericho comments that this is how poor Angle is. J.R. comments that this is only the start of the match but Jericho says it doesnt matter. Angle is going down Angle gets up and they go right at, except this time, it's Angle who gets the advantage and Stasiak gets slapped on the back of his head with a beautiful german suplex. Stasiak gets back up and gets hit down with a forarm smash and Angle this time is much more aggressive. Jericho says that Angle is just lucky and the King agrees while JR applauds the Olympians work. Stasiak tries to find a way out of it doesnt help as he gets hit with a second german. Angle gets down and gets on top of Stasiak slapping the back of his head as Stasiak tries to get back to his feet. Stasiak desperately tries to attack Stasiak but Stasiak gets hit with uppercuts and other basic offensive attack which leads to Angle clothesling Stasiak out of the ring before he takes some time to celebrate with the crowd. This is halted however as Jericho stands up at the announce booth and makes a b-line for Angle who doesn't waste time arguing back. Jericho is evidently still bitter about Angle's sneak attack last week on Smackdown, a an attack that Jericho consistantly argued was unprovoked after HE won the match last week. Jericho's distraction was enough for Stasiak to slide back into the ring and attack Angle from behind with a clothesline, Stasiak getting back on top. Stasiak continued with the offensive before getting the rolling neck snap on Angle. Stasiak continued on the assault, Angle taking a nasty fall from a back body drop before Stasiak began to wear Angle down with a chinlock. However this was only temporary as Angle began to fight back, Stasiak having to use his knees to stop the Angle momentum, they eventually stopping him when Angle's failed irish whip ended up with a knee lift from Stasiak to Angle to which Stasiak attempted a pin only to get a 2. J.R. believed that Angle clearly got out of that with achres of time but Jericho was like, "wow, wow, how LUCKY!" The match was only the downhill from here though, as Stasiak attempted to end the match withi a fisherman's suplex but Angle countered with a belly to belly, both Wrestlers going to the mat. Jericho got more and more anxious as the match went on, especially as when the two men got to the feet, it was Angle that took the advantage. Angle through on the offense and Stasiak was definately, in trouble, using every thing he could to stop Angle but Angle is a machine. Stasiak got folded up with another beautiful german suplex and Angle is jumping up and down as the fans know's its time. Stasiak gets out, he doesnt know where he is shouts JR as Angle goes for the ANGLE SLAM ON Stasiak, the sound of the commentating head set crashing against the table. Angle gets his shoulder over Stasiak...............................1.......................................2......................................Jericho puts Stasiak's foot on the rope and shouts at the referee. Angle looks up and he looks Angry. Stasiak tries to crawl away on the floor and Angle thinks about who to go for before quickly rolling down the straps on his gear and goes for the ANGLE LOCK! "My Gawd!" shouts J.R. "Stasiak is gonna tap King, Stasiak is gonna tap". Jericho looks desperate and quickly tries to climb onto the ring distracting the referee who doesn't notice Stasiak tapping on the ground. Angle lets go of Stasiak and turns around in anger and swings and Jericho but Jericho climbs down, the referee shouting at him, Angle turns around and gets hit with a low blow by Stasiak. Stasiak gets back to his feet and quickly hits the Perfect-Plex on Angle getting the 3 and getting a huge upset. Shawn Stasiak bt Kurt Angle at 13.44. -(KOTW Score: ***1/2)(KOTW Note - Good action, both Wrestlers coming off well, with the Angle/Chris Jericho work continuing to develop well). After the match, Jericho gets back in the ring and him and Stasiak start to beat down Kurt Angle. Jericho gets Angle up and tells Stasiak to beat the crap out of him and Stasiak lifts Angle up onto his shoulders looking to go for the DVD when Edge quickly hits the ring with a steel chair and slides into the ring, with both Stasiak and Jericho getting out of the ring quickly as Edge gets in. Edge and Angle stand in the middle of the ring as Jericho and Stasiak move away, Jericho holding Stasiak's arm up high. J.R. says that Stasiak is an arrogant sob. King likes him. J.R. comments that he would. King asks J.R. asks him if some ribs and bbq sauce would shut him up, because he's more than willing to go get him some. J.R. is giving him a migraine!

Selling Out

Backstage, there are a lot of Wrestlers in a commotion. Heels are chatting with Faces. Men and women alike, all in a state of confusion, the cameras heading quickly to Vince McMahon who is on the phone.

"Selling out?", "What do you mean Selling Out?" Vince says with an anger in his voice. "What's the percentage of shares been sold?"......"20%? WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?.....Look, I'm coming back to Conneticuit, organise an emergency meeting...JUST DO IT!" Vince McMahon closes his phone and slides his pocket, quickly heading for his suitcase. Vince opens the door and outside it, stands Al Snow. Al wants to know if Vince has time to talk about a payrise, he says a lot of the critiques have been talking about his top notch performances. Vince say he doesn't have the time but he can do a favour for him, and Al, eager to help his cause offers out. But what comes out of Vince's mouth isn't what he expects. "Look Al, you know there are other people here helping manage the show, but I've got to go, I want YOU to precide the Arm Wrestling Match between The Rock and Austin, hell you're in charge". Al Snow is lost for words but Vince calms him. "Al, if you screw this up, YOU'RE FIRED!". Vince quickly shifts like you wouldn't believe with Al Snow looking like a helpless puppy.

The Rock?

The cameras go further backstage to where we are introduced by the commentators of Kevin Kelly, who is live with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold says there is something on his mind and he wants to get it off his chest before he fills his body with more beer, as he's only had about 10 beers by now and he wants to say what he's got to say before he is probably under the influence of alcohol. He asks Kevin Kelly if he knows what he's saying and Kelly nods, making Stone Cold smile. Austin tells Kevin Kelly that he doesn't have a damn idea about what the hell he's saying and Austin reckons Kevin Kelly is about of a lightweight. Kevin Kelly protests, so Austin has a solution. Austin tells Kevin Kelly to drink this nice cold bud right here for him in front of the whole entire world. Kevin Kelly opens up the can and Austin taunts him on. "Come ON! Drink it! Drink it! DRINK THE DAMN BEER". In full panic mode, Kevin Kelly takes a sip out of the beer to Austin's amusement. "You call that drinking a beer?" "What?" "I said you call that drinking beer...YOU'RE PATHETIC...GET OUT OF MY SIGHT". Austin kicks Kevin Kelly out of the picture. Austin says that now that sumbitch is out of his way, he can get on to what he wanted to talk about. Austin says that he knows The Rock and him have a "history", and that he can fully appreciate that after The Rock getting his ass whipped a 100 or so times, he probably doesn't like facing the rattlesnake that much. But Austin says that okay, he'd probably hate him too if he had to face him, but thats just too bad. Austin says, right now there are only three things that matter to him right now, besides the fans and that is 1)beer, 2)the WWF Championship, and 3)beer. Austin said that he doesn't care who the hell he has to beat the hell out of to become the WWF Championship, because Austin says like a rattlesnake is, he's indiscriminate. However, there is one thing that is certain and that is that he will be the WWF Champion again...and thats the bottom line cos STONE COLD SAID SO! J.R. says that Stone Cold is fully charged and ready to go. King asks J.R. if he's sure he's married?

Match 4: An Arm Wrestling Match - The Rock Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

(KOTW Note - Al Snow came down to the ring first and announced that he would be preciding this event and that tonight, there would be no head...the fans were disappointed). The first contestant down to the ring was the former WCW Heavyweight Champion, The Rock. The Rock got on the mic and said that he was glad to be here live in this fair city, and that tonight, he was going to do what he does best and that is whoop ass for all these people out here. At that moment, Stone Cold hits the ring. Stone Cold, already with mic in hand says that The Rock has big words for a guy that was stripped of his title. The Rock reminds Stone Cold that he was also stripped of his title, but Austin says thats not the point. Austin says that tonight, he's going to let all the fans in the stadium in on a little secret...Austin then asks The Rock and Al Snow if they think the air is a little dry in the arena and that he needs a beer to wet his throat. Austin calls over and gets a beer thrown at him and drinks it down before making some clearing throat sounds down the mic. Austin looks back at everyone and says......."as I was saying, I have a little secret..." The Rock asks him if this little secret is that he's actually bald because The Rock for one already noticed. Austin was not impressed but continued none the less telling everyone that his little secret is that he was a multi time arm wrestling champion. The Rock then claimed that he was also an arm wrestling champion back in the good old day, but Austin laughs, saying that The Rock just made that up because Stone Cold is a better arm wrestler than him. Both men put their arms down at the table and Al Snow tells them the rules of Arm wrestling. Austin told him to shut the hell up and get on with it, so Al Snow did just what he said and Austin took the first match. Austin celebrated in the ring but The Rock got back on the mic and told the crowd that, that was his weaker arm. The Rock said that he wanted to go again and so Austin and Rock went a second time and this time, after a very tight contest, The Rock managed to overcome Austin. The Rock climbed up the turnbuckle and raised his arm to the crowd, but this time, Austin got back on the mic and said, that's his weaker arm. Both men looked at Al Snow and told him that as he was the guy in charge, it was his decision. Al Snow offered a coin for their troubles and Austin snatched it off him, and said, if Austin gets heads, then he uses his strong arm and if Rock gets tails, The Rock loses. The Rock snatched the coin of Austin and told him that he knows his games and that he knows that Austin likes to cheat. So The Rock said that the coin toss was his. Austin asked Rock if he likes to toss but the Rock ignored and continued to talk. "Austin heads, Rock tails". The crowd were really into this. So the Rock finally tosses the coin and it comes down as tails. Al Snow informs the crowd that The Rock gets to use his strong hand. So one final go. Best of 3. Both men lock up on the table, and Austin is looking at The Rock. The Rock gets paranoid and asks Austin and Austin starts laughing. The Rock pulls his arm up and demands to know what is so funny? Austin tells The Rock it's nothing and to carry on with the game, so the two, lock up again, but Austin starts laughing again. The Rock says what, there arms swaying from side to side. Austin says its nothing...well nothing except...YOUR FLY IS UNDONE, The Rock shocked looks down quickly and Austin forces The Rock's arm down, The Rock noticing that his fly is indeed up, but Austin just cheated. Austin has his arm raised by Al Snow and the fans cheer as The Rock was just screwed by Austin. But it's not over. Austin lets go and turns round to face The Rock and puts his arm out for a handshake. The Rock smiles, obviously the good sport, and shakes back, but as Austin tries to pull away......The Rock holds on.........The Rock saying..."oh by the way........ROCKBOTTOM! The Rock slams Austin down hard against the mat and The Rock's music hits, the fans unsure of how to respond, although some immedietly boo and some cheer. Either way, The Rock climbs out of the ring and leaves the arena as Austin gets up, looking very pissed off at what just happened. Al Snow in fight of flight mode, quickly dives out of the ring and escapes up the ramp, knowing that Austin is out for his blood. However, J.R. tells us we'll be right back after this commerical break.

Well...Well....Well

When the show returns, we see Lilian Garcia climbing into the ring, J.R explaining that although there is a short period of the show remaining as apparently Vince McMahon had some farewell planned for the fans but since he departed, no one knows whats going to go on. The King commented that he was sure that if Mr. McMahon was here, the speech would be great, J.R. betting that King would find it amazing. However, it's Lilian in the ring and she is the one we are supposed to be listening to. Lilian says she wants to take this time to thank the fans for coming to the show, and that she hopes, despite other people's opinions, that everyone had a good time. For all of those interested, there is WWF merchandise availabe in....

"WELLLLLLLL WELLLLLLLLLL WELLLLLLLLL"

J.R. and the King go nuts

"My Gawd King! IT'S JOEL GERTNER, WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE"

"OH NO, not another one of these DAMN ECW GUYS!"

Joel Gertner heads straight down to the ring, mic in hand as the fans chant EC DUB, EC DUB! Joel is perfectly dressed for the occasion, wearing the neckbrace, as well as his fancy coat and sunglasses. Gertner exclaims what an honor it is to finally set foot in the company that so many of his former friends abandoned ECW for and the company that put him out of a job! Gertner keeps saying "wow" before asking the fans if they think this is the sort of place that the Quintessential Studmuffin could have made his home, the EC Dub Chants getting louder and louder. Gertner says that unfortunately, he is not the bringer of good news for a certain Vincent Kennedy McMahon but...HEY! HE'S NOT HERE! So Gertner says he is going to just have to air this dirty laundry live on national TV. J.R says that someone needs to get this guy off TV! He's not a member of the WWF! He doesn't belong here, and the King agrees with J.R. Gertner says that he hopes that people watching the show, are by now aware that as a result of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon's reckless decisions in the past couple of days, World Wrestling Federation Stock Holders have been selling their shares. However, what you good people don't know is who these people are selling their shares too! I know! I represent this guy, and trust me, this guy would like nothing more than to put Vince McMahon right out of business. However, my boss is a smart man, and he also understands that instead of putting McMahon of business, he can TAKE the business from him. And that's what he's going to do. Now I'm sure you're all wondering......who is My Boss?.......Well... You'll find out....but only at Vengeance. Until then....why not speculate.......I will return! Security hit the ring and and Gertner dives out of the ring and escapes through the audience, man of the fans patting him on the back.

"Someone is trying to by Mr. McMahon out King, Mr. McMahon could be out of buisness! What the hell is going on and why the hell is Joel Gertner involved!?! WHY DAMN IT WHY?!"

The show ends with Joel Gertner making standing amongst a group of fans his arms spread out as the camera fades to black

ok Raw...

We open up with Vince coming out as always to explain business, fair enough. I thought this was done pretty well with him wanting to get rid of the rest of WCW, but there was one thing I didnt like. Why proclaim that he wont be booking for the fans anymore? I know the point you tried to get across, but history on screen has always showed Vince MacMahon trying make things go his way.

Rikishi is back xD goody

hmm this segment with Test was a little weird, however I could picture it happening and it must have been kinda funny.

Ok, Marc Mero is serving his purpose here well so far.

If you're trying to bring back Kane's domination charecter, that's pretty good then. Kane was still good at this time, but if you're trying to make him more not-human again, I hope it will work for you.

Shawn Stasiak vs Kurt Angle was fine...

I like this thing with a new stock holder, I wonder who it is.

I liked the Austin interview too, seems like a typical funny Austin interview.

The arm wrestling match was fine too, and you really managed to stretch it long xD

Wow, I really liked that last segment, it produced a lot of suspense and probably more buys for Vengeance if it would have been irl.

So yeah overall I'm digging this so far, I've read through most of the diary, however I'm only going to review this last show xD But so far its good.

Ugh. This is really quite offensive.

- Firstly, and most annoyingly... why post...

...several news pieces...

...in 3 or 4 different posts...

...when one post...

...is just as good...

...and doesn't make you look like a moron?

It smacks of postwhoring to me, and that cheap postwhoring where you can quote the rules to a mod and get off on a technicality. It's not big and it's not clever.

Regarding the diary itself, the booking is hackneyed and two-dimensional, which I suppose you could claim is realistic for the period, but then again you're trying to turn things around, so why do the same old thing they've done a gazillion times before?

As for the writing and the show recaps... eugh. So... many... ellipsis... my... eyes... hurt. You seem to be going for some bizarre mixture of play-by-play and recapped results, which can work very well if you do it right, but you seem to be harnessing only the failures of each style and it doesn't do you any favours. Worst of all, it kind of brings out the weakness of the booking as well, which is something you need to hide at all costs if you're going to book like that. It is possible to make crappy booking look good via write-up, and there are plenty of examples of it in the Dome, so have a browse around and take notes.

I'd give this *1/2 at the moment.

Smackdown Preview

....going on from RAW

When Vincent Kennedy McMahon returned to find out that Joel Gertner has been on RAW, Vince was not pleased. Consequently McMahon has been doing everything he can in the last couple of days to find out who the buyer is and is getting quite stressed out about it. Also last monday on RAW, Stone Cold got hit with the rockbottom after screwing the former WCW Heavyweight Champion out of an arm wrestling match. Tonight, the two men get another shot at each other, as part of a Tag Team where Austin teams up with Chris Jericho against The Rock and Kurt Angle. One thing is for sure and that is that all 4 of these men hate each other and no one knows how the hell this is going to turn out. In a night of tag team action, Shawn Stasiak is also teaming up with new boy Marc Mero to take on Edge and a mystery partner. Who will step up and take on two of the new rising stars of the WWF?

Finally, Charles Wright, Manager of the dominant Key has been talking to Vince McMahon and had this to say. "Tonight, Rob Van Dam is going up against a Monster....Lord knows if he'll even make it to Vengeance"

Current Card Line Up

WWF Hardcore Champion RVD Vs. A Monster

Shawn Stasiak and Marc Mero Vs. Edge and?

Stone Cold and Chris Jericho Vs. Kurt Angle and The Rock

hhmmm .... I see the circumstances, but don't like Stasiak going over Angle ... not yet anyway. There had better be some repercussions for Jericho and Shawn, and soon.

Gertner ? ugh ........ never a fan, but understand why in terms of 'face value' and 'recognizability' (yes I just made that up) .... hopefully you can limit his use and do just what you have to in order to capitalize on his name value, and then nothing more. I say use him as a biased interviewer/reporter for the ECW/WCW guys so that he's on in short bits. Just my opinion though. You did introduce him in a good way however.

2001, the year I really started to get into wrestling. I knew of it, but didn't really start following it much until WrestleMania of 2001. So with this 2001 WWF diary, I think it should bring back some good memories. I will review the last RAW you did as I will pick up the diary from there and then from then on review all three shows at once in a shortened version.

A good way to start of RAW as Vince McMahon explaining things for his recent actions. This catches me up a bit on what has been going on as he is Champion and set up a match between Rock and Austin. Vince of course explains himself saying that he isn't booking for the fans, which he normally says he books himself anyway. Then what a nice dick move you made Vince do to announce an ARM WRESTLING Match between Rock and Austin. I am sure they will be oh so happy. Also, Angle vs. Stasiak shouldn't be that bad either.

Rikishi back in WWF, can never hurt. A good promo pre-match by Christian just showing how pissed off he always is. Rikishi going over and winning the belt, hmm, interesting here and I would like to see where you are going with this. Maybe make Christian go through his temper tantrum stage like he really did. Either way, Rikishi as European Champion should be something to keep an eye on.

A pretty entertaining segment here starting with Test and Stacy. Test him cocky self trying to get with Stacy...yeah right, and you make it to perfection with Stacy having to "go do business" and Test thinking he has a chance. Then with Richards with the CDs I was a bit confused, but probably missed it earlier on in the diary. Test not scared, yeah right. Any sound of a bike scares him. I thought it was funny with Test looking like a pussy when Chuck showed up. Test will be scared of Taker, I just can't wait when they meet face to face.

Marc Mero vs. Val Venis...eh, but Mero fighting for Torrie didn't make the match to bad. Not a fan of either, but the match made it's point. I have a good feeling Torrie won't end up with Mero though.

Umm...okay. A very interesting yet odd promo here by Kane. I didn't like the sounding of him to much with him being shadowed by pretty guys like Jeff and Matt. Either way, I just hope you let Kane destroy them and move onto bigger things and make sure he just keeps his mask. Kane can never hurt being in the main event.

Wow, this match really surprised me. Angle vs. Stasiak was very well written and seemed it turned out to be a very good match. Jericho at commentary acting like a heel is always good to heat up a feud. The finish was very well planned with Jericho getting Stasiak's foot on the rope and then distracting the referee. The after match beat down with the save makes this feud even better. Angle and Edge together were good now I just want to see if Jericho and Stasiak can really work together.

A very interesting segment here with Vince getting very pissed off and having to leave. I thought Snow asking for a raise was pretty funny, but then Vince putting him in charge for the Arm Wrestling Match, wow, didn't see that coming. I have a feeling Snow might just mess up, but I will find out soon.

Nice promo here by Austin. Bringing back some memories with Kevin Kelly, especially the ones with him and The Rock. Austin says everything that is needed saying that he has beat The Rock enough and will just do it again. Also, the three things on his mind was a funny with beer being said twice as just a bit extra of a throw in. Overall, a good promo.

A very good job here with the Arm Wrestling Match. Some good comedy going on with both men here. I like how you went way with it by having both men with with the stronger arm and having Snow decide what to do. I was a bit surprise Snow came up with a good idea, but it did work. This was a good way to have Austin win as well having him screw The Rock by faking him out. I liked the ending to everything though as The Rock hit the Rock Bottom. Reminds me a bit of when Austin and Rock sang the duet.

Joel Gertner in WWF, ending a show. That is really shocking. I really can't wait to see who this guy is at Vengeance. I hope it isn't Paul E. because that would just be a waste, but I guess we are just going to have to wait and see.

Overall this was a good show and it seems as if this diary has been going well. A few spelling and grammer mistakes here and there, but it happens to all of us. So good job man and keep this up. It was my pleasure with this feedback.

Smackdown Preview

Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to WWF Smackdown! Michael Cole says that tonight is going to be a great night, and that truly can not wait for the Main Event Match between which has The Rock and Kurt Angle facing Chris Jericho and the Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin. Tazz agrees, saying that the show is indeed going to be a rocketbuster and for one he can’t wait!

Joel Gertner? Who the Hell!?

The Show kicks off with Vince McMahon coming to the ring, his walk more exaggerated today, as he seems to be in more of an annoyed mood than usual. Vince grabs a mic and tells the fans that he wants to address the situation of last week. Vince explains that there has indeed been a sell out of shares but it is not serious, he repeats it’s not serious and that he is still the WWF Chairman of the board, the only Chairman and he is still the WWF Champion. Vince then goes onto say that as soon he got back to Titan Towers, he had his legal team do a little research into the person who he was buying this company and he found out it to be an out of town, Southern Business called BT Enterprises. Vince McMahon stated that it doesn’t matter who it is, whether it be Vince Russo to Eric Bischoff, the fact is that Vince McMahon is invincible. Joel Gertner obviously didn’t agree and made himself clear when he hit the arena, microphone in hand. Gertner started his “Well..Well..Well” spiel once more but this time was cut off abruptly by Vince. Vince asked him what the hell he was doing here? Vince says that he has no right to be here but Gertner says that’s where he is mistake. Gertner says that his boss now owns 30% of the business and soon enough, he would own more. Vince begins to call for security, but Gertner tells him to hold his horses. Gertner says that before he is removed from this position he has a message from the boss for him. Gertner says it’s more of a recommendation/warning. Gertner says that while McMahon was the majority share holder of the company, Vince might think it is wise to be walking around with that shiny belt over his shoulder, but Gertner says his boss doesn’t. Gertner warns Vince therefore that either he puts the strap on somebody else soon, or, well, his boss will just have to DO IT FOR HIM! At that moment, Gertner is seized by security. Once Gertner is handcuffed, Vince demands that the security wait just a second, as he has a message for him and his boss. Vince tells Gertner that his boss can make all the threats he wants because he’s not gonna be partners with nobody and as far as he’s concerned, that’s the end of that. Vince then goes onto say that if Gertner EVER shows his face in the WWF again, he will suffer the consequences of his actions. A Final EC Dub chant is said as Gertner is pulled out of the arena and Vince’s music hits. Michael Cole says that Joel Gertner has some nerve coming on his show Smackdown. Tazz says that Gertner always had a nerve. Gertner was the type of guy that was always whining about his situation yet he never had the balls to do anything about it. Tazz then goes onto say that to make it big, you gotta look big and that’s all the ECW wrestlers that made it in the WWF did. The show then goes to a commercial break.

A Lineage of Champions unlike None Other

The show returns and the fans are on their feet as the new WWF European Champion makes his way to the ring. Rikishi says that it’s an honor and a privilege to finally be back in the World Wrestling Federation. Rikishi says that he’s never had an easy life and that he’s never been that good at one particular thing. However, one thing he is good for is appreciation. For example, he appreciates that he is still here alive today, when he could have easily been dead many years ago in a drive by shooting. He goes onto say that he appreciates the fact that he is standing in the middle of the ring of the biggest Wrestling Company on the planet and getting cheered on by thousands of people who all want to see the Kish live here TONIGHT. The cheers get louder, Rikishi nodding his head in appreciation. Rikishi says that he also appreciates the fact he is currently holding, the World Wrestling Federation European Championship belt. Rikishi acknowledges that the belt isn’t as old as the Intercontinental Championship, but still, it’s a special belt. It’s a belt that’s been held by the British Bulldog. The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels! The Late Great Owen Hart. “Hell” Rikishi says, “It’s even been held by the former owner of WCW, Shane McMahon, it’s a special title”. Rikishi says that he intends to honour the history of this Championship by defending as often as he can and against who ever wants a shot at the Championship. Welcome Steven Richards who quickly marches down to the ring grabbing a microphone. Steven Richards says that’s while great people have indeed held this Championship belt. There is still one name that is missing from that grouping. Rikishi enquires as to who could possibly be missing looking at the belt and back at Richards. “ME!” Richards shouts who immediately goes on the attack. “It looks like we have a Match Up” Michael Cole says….man this guy is sharp.

Match 1: WWF European Championship Match – Rikishi © Vs. Steven Richards

Richards tries to strike away at Rikishi with his fists but Rikishi quickly takes the advantage countering an Irish Whip and hitting Richards with a very early Samoan Drop. Rikishi gets back to his feet as Richards bounces up and down off the crowd, Michael Cole saying that Richard’s must feel like stack of shelves has just fallen down on him. Tazz agrees saying “that would be true, if a stack of shelves weight 400lbs and smelt like ass”. Richards gets back to his feet but almost immediately gets hit a Savate Kick to the face of Richards, the collision echoing through the building. Rikishi pulls Richards over to the corner, before climbing the turnbuckle celebrating with the crowds a little before hitting a huge crashing banzai drop down onto the sternum of Richards for the pin fall. Rikishi bt. Steven Richards at. 2:45-(KOTW Rating - **)(KOTW Note – Rikishi as WWF European Champion seems to be a big hit with the fans and he is going over really well). Rikishi gets back to his feet and grabs hold of his Championship belt celebrating with the WWF fans. However, Rikishi’s celebration doesn’t last long as Christian’s theme tune starts up and Christian appears at the entrance to the arena. Christian tells the fans to shut up and not take his name in vain as just like God, Christian is brilliant in every way. Christian tells the crowd that all he wants is rightfully his, something that was stolen away from him last Monday on Raw. Christian says that he couldn’t possibly defend his title as he wasn’t even ready and that all Rikishi did was take advantage of the situation. Christian says that makes him feel used. Christian says that’s why he’s issuing a challenge to Rikishi, invoking his championship rematch clause. Christian says he wants Rikishi on the show that never cheats him, the show where all his peeps are at, the show which he loves. That’s right. Christian challenges Rikishi to a WWF European Championship Match for this Sunday on Heat??!? Rikishi, amused at the suggestion, says that he’s cool with that and so it’s on. The WWF European Champion Rikishi Vs. Christian…this Sunday, on HEAT! Meanwhile back at the announce table, Tazz and Cole are laughing. Tazz says that he feels that Christian has finally lost it. Heat? Cole tells Tazz that they shouldn’t laugh as they used to run Heat but Tazz can’t help it. Christian has lost it!

And My Partner is……….

Backstage Edge is standing outside a locker room banging on the door. “Hey Champ, you ready?”. Edge bangs on the door again. “Champ?”. The door opens and Edge smiles as the camera changes it’s angle. It’s Torrie Wilson dressed in a towel! The crowd go crazy at the sight of Torrie who tells Edge that Tajiri is just “finishing” his pre-match ritual and will be with him in just a sec. Torrie closes the door on Edge who is now looking very smug. As he begins to walk away he stops but only for a second…did he just here someone say “Geronimo?”

Match 2: WWF Intercontinental Champion Edge and WWF Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri (w/Torrie Wilson) Vs. Shawn Stasiak and Marc Mero

(KOTW Note – Shawn Stasiak was the first to hit the ring and immediately grabbed the mic. Stasiak said that the past few weeks, he has schooled many WWF Superstars from Val Venis to Kurt Angle. Stasiak says that his perfect record of having never been pinned or made to submit should be recognised and that is why from now, he demands that ring announcers call him by the name. “Perfect” Shawn Stasiak. Stasiak soaks up the heat from the audience before Mero makes his entrance). The match kicks off with all four men brawling in the ring,Edge with Stasiak and Mero with Tajiri. Mero floors Tajiri with a right hand as Stasiak gets clotheslined out of the ring by Edge. Edge gets out of dodge as the referee rings the bell with Mero and Tajiri starting off the match. Mero is looking of high confidence at the moment as he hits a side suplex on Tajiri before going for a quick cover but Tajiri kicks out with ease. Mero continues on the offence using basic offensive moves on Tajiri to keep him on the ground. Mero quickly locks Tajiri into a headlock as the crowd boo Mero for slowing down the match. Michael Cole comments that this might be the first time in a long time where the WWF Cruiserweight division might actually be at the same level of talent as the WWF Heavyweights which Tazz finds insulting, asking Cole if he in fact knows anything about wrestling. Mero tries to keep Tajiri grounded in a head lock but Tajiri is determined to fight out ending up suplexing Mero down to the mat, freeing himself. Torrie claps her hands on the outside in relief. Mero who is far closer at the time to Stasiak tags Stasiak in and Stasiak gets into the ring and pulls Tajiri away from Edge. Stasiak gets right to work against the man he will be facing in just under a week at Vengeance hitting him with solid bodyslam before hitting a leg drop on Tajiri and Stasiak goes for the pin. Tajiri kicks out. Stasiak gets Tajiri back in a head lock and brings him over to Mero who tags himself back in and begins to kick Tajiri down in the corner. Mero blows a kiss at Torrie to the distaste of both the crowd and Torrie. Michael Cole says a face tells a thousand pictures and that face tells you that Torrie Wilson is about to vomit. Mero tags Stasiak back in and Stasiak hits Tajiri with a snapmare talking down to Tajiri, asking him “if this is all he’s got?”. Stasiak grabs hold of Tajiri and chucks him in the corner before hitting him with a huge back hand chop which echos around the arena, attracting the fans attention before a second, and a third. Tajiri however doesn’t allow more than this and quickly turns it around hitting some hard chops of his own before using his feet and kicks the hell out Stasiak before hitting him with a handspring back elbow smash in the corner. Tajiri makes the tag out to Edge while Stasiak is getting to his feet and the crowd roar at Stasiak and Edge finally being in the ring together. Edge tells Stasiak to bring it on but Stasiak says to hell with Edge and tags Mero back in. Mero isn’t happy about being tagged back in and Mero and Stasiak argue but Edge doesn’t care. Edge knocks Stasiak off the apron and chucks Mero into the ring. Mero gets back to his feet only to get knocked down once, twice, thrice, before being whipped into the ropes before getting hit with a forearm smash. Edge is on fire, but wait Stasiak is climbing up top, but here comes Tajiri and he takes Stasiak down with a headscissors take down and Stasiak, Stasiak quickly rolling out of the ring afterwards. Meanwhile Edge hits a vertical suplex on Mero. Edge is ready and waiting….here it comes……….SPEAAAAAR! Torrie looks delighted on the outside! But wait, it’s not over. Edge tags Tajiri back into the ring. Mero is trying to get back to his feet BUZZSAW KICK! Tajiri goes for the cover…………1………….2……………..3. Edge and Tajiri bt. Shawn Stasiak and Marc Mero at 12.32-(KOTW Score - ***1/2)(KOTW Note – Edge and Tajiri worked well as a team. Shawn Stasiak only slight over Marc Mero in terms of heat now). After the match, Torrie Wilson gets back into the ring and hugs Tajiri both of them looking down at the grounded Mero. Edge goes over and hugs Torrie Wilson and shakes the hand of Tajiri….BUT WAIT…….*BAM* Edge just got floored by Shawn Stasiak with a chair. Tajiri tries to help but gets a chair to his skull to for him trouble. “Stasiak has lost it!” screams Michael Cole who stands over his two opponents. Tazz tells Cole that you can tell Stasiak IS NOT happy. Stasiak grabs hold of Torrie Wilson by the hair, What NOW? STASIAK HITS THE DVD on Torrie Wilson. The crowd are hating this! Stasiak raises his arms to the crowd before getting out of the ring, is face gleaming at the sick act he has just committed. Michael Cole repeats “THIS MAN IS SICK! TAZZ SICK!” as the Tajiri crawls over Torrie to protect her.

Oh you think that’s funny?

Backstage Vince McMahon is in his office shouting down the phone. “LOOK! I DON’T CARE IF SHE DOESN’T WANT TO TALK TO ME! I’M HER FATHER! HELL! I’M VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON! *click*”. “HELLO?...SON OF A..” Vince throws his phone at the wall and turns around in fury leaving his office going into the backstage walk way. A group of people around Vince at his entrance are sniggering but as soon as they see Vince, they immediately stop. “Vince is not in the sort of mood you want to mess with right now” exclaims Tazz. Rob Van Dam proves that theory as Vince catches with him talking to Tommy Dreamer about the share problem, Van Dam telling Dreamer how cool he thought it was when Gertner showed up on RAW last week. Vince McMahon did not share this sentiment and told Rob Van Dam to turn around and face him like a man. Rob tried to break the ice, asking Vince how it’s going but Vince didn’t give a damn right now. Vince asked Van Dam if he thought the actions on RAW were funny. Van Dam tried to explain that he was just happy to see Gertner back on TV but Vince didn’t listen. Vince told Van Dam that he in fact too is a bit of a comedian and told Rob to try this on for size. Vince said he understood that tonight, Van Dam was scheduled to be involved in a singles match against “a monster”. Van Dam nodded and Vince was happy he agreed because now, that match has changed to a handicap match, as the monster now has a partner…..and his name is KEY! Vince McMahon walks off in complete anger as Van Dam looks displeased, Dreamer tapping Van Dam on the shoulder as McMahon walks off. Tazz says this is what happens when you cross the boss. Michael Cole it’s ridiculous that a WWF Superstar can’t express his happiness to see an old friend without being punished in the way that he has been. The show goes to a commercial break.

Match 3: WWF Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam Vs. Key (w/Charles Wright) and A Monster.

(KOTW Note – Rob Van Dam hits the ring first, the fans heavily behind him as he does his usual spiel with the audience. Next to the ring is the WWF Hardcore Champion Number 1 Contender Key, accompanied to the ring by his Manager, Charles Wright. Wright says that he thought Van Dam’s match up was going to be tough enough with the challenge he laid before him but this is even better. Wright then announces that Van Dam’s second opponent in tonight’s match up is none other than……KANE!!!! Kane’s pyros explode at the entrance and Kane arrives with huge heat from the fans. Michael Cole says Van Dam is in deeeeeeeep trouble). Kane starts off the match with Van Dam, Van Dam taking some huge uppercuts before getting hit with a huge sidewalk slam. Van Dam is brought back to his feet and whipped into the ropes before getting knocked down with another huge uppercut. Kane starts to choke the life out of Van Dam on the floor only to be broken up by the referee’s count, but immediately goes back to it. Wright bangs hard against the canvas sounding off his approval as Kane grabs hold of Van Dam and hits him with a huge backbreaker Van Dam looking in serious pain. Kane climbs up the turnbuckle and waits for Van Dam to get up before hitting a huge flying clothesline from hell knocking Van Dam right back down. Kane circles the downed Van Dam, Michael Cole telling Tazz that he believes Kane gets a sick perverse pleasure from hurting people! “He doesn’t attempt to beat opponents, he attempts to hurt opponents”. Kane swings his arm back waiting for Van Dam to get back to his feet one last time for the Chokeslam finish when Key tags himself in on Kane’s arm and gets in his ring and goes straight away to stomping away, but Kane isn’t happy and he retaliates in the way Kane only does as Key turns around and walks straight into the big boot from Kane, Key getting knocked to the outside.. Kane then gets back to his originally plans and goes straight for Van Dam, the crowd getting louder. “WAIT A MINUTE!” shouts Tazz as Kane grabs hold of Van Dam by the neck. Van Dam counters the chokeslam with a boot to the midsection turning around to the HARDY BOYZ! Matt Hardy is standing right behind and immediately hits Kane with the TWIST OF FATE. Van Dam meanwhile is pulled through the ropes by Key as Jeff is climbing up…SWANTON BOMB ON KANE! The referee has had enough and he calls this match a no contest due to the crazy amount of interference as Key and Van Dam brawl through the crowd.

Match ended as a No Contest at 5.54.-(KOTW Rating - **1/2)(KOTW Note - Kane went over again with the crowd and Key is still got some good momentum. Will be an interesting turn out at Vengeance).Matt and Jeff regroup on the outside of the ring with Lita as they watch Kane. “Have they done enough to keep the Monster Kane down?” asks Tazz who is answered quicker than he imagined as Kane sits up almost immediately after he says it. “My God!” calls Michael Cole. Team Extreme can hardly believe their eyes as the monster Kane gets back to his feet. Michael Cole asks Tazz what can be done to keep Kane down. “Quite frankly”, says Tazz, “I don’t know”. Team Xtreme and Kane stare each other down as the show goes backstage.

I’M NOT AFRAID OF THE UNDERTAKER

We go backstage to a locker room where Test is looking at himself. “Man I look good” he says out loud as he sweeps a comb through his hair. “…Too good to be scared of the Undertaker…that’s for sure”. Test begins to pour a white solution from a bottle into his hand, which can only be assumed to be moisturiser of some sorts when there is a knock on his door causing Test to spill some of the solution over his pants. The door opens and in walks Stacy Keibler who looks shocked at Test standing in the middle of the room with a white solution on his pants and his hand and says she’ll come back later, but Test tries to explain. Stacy doesn’t look too convince. She explains that the reason she is here is because she’s got note for him. Test tries to act cool like nothing is going on and takes the note from Stacy, who smiles politely and says she’ll see him later before quickly leaving the room. “Oh yeah…” Test says opening the note before reading it out loud. “Meet me in 5 minutes in the boiler room”. Test scrunches up the paper and throws it on the floor “….She wants me”.

An Interview with the Olympic Gold Medallist

Further backstage, Jonathan Coachman greets us and informs us that he is Live backstage with none other than Olympic Gold Medallist and two time WWF Champion, Kurt Angle. The Coach jumps straight into the deep end and asks Kurt what has been going between him and Chris Jericho recently. Kurt says that he’s glad that someone has finally asked him that question because he’s wanted to get this off his chest for a long period of time. Kurt says that basically, Chris Jericho is nothing but an idiot. He says it must be something to do with him spending so much time in Canada or something. Basically, he is not tuned in to normality. Kurt says Chris Jericho has a chip on his shoulder because he got his ass handed to him in the Round Robin tournament, saying that Stone Cold cheated, The Rock cheated, Kurt Angle didn’t help enough. Kurt says that Jericho has just got to get to the grip with the fact that…well….he sucks. Kurt says that sadly, it looks like he may have to put his WWF Championship quest on hold to finally swat the WWF’s very own Y2J Bug out of this WWF once and for all. Oh It’s True! It’s damn true! The Coach then asks Kurt Angle what his feelings are the current take over attempt on the World Wrestling Federation. Angle says that Vince only has himself to blame. Angle reckons that if Vince McMahon had just done the sensible thing and give the WWF Championship belt to Kurt Angle at the start, then the fans would have never complained, WWF merchandising would have increased by 10 fold and the whole of the United States of America could have had a role model that they are in desperate need for. Kurt says that he just hopes that after Vengeance is all said and done, Vince will finally come to his senses and put the strap on the most deserving man in Sports Entertainment. Woooo! Michael Cole tells Tazz he sometimes wonders who has the bigger ego? Chris Jericho or Kurt Angle? Tazz believes it doesn’t matter because the next time the two of them step up to the bat, it’s going to be a rocketbuster!!!!

Test loves Suprises....

We are back with Test just as he enters the boiler room. Test is primed up telling himself that this going to be the best experience of his life. “Stacy” he calls “Stacy! Come out Come out wherever you are!”. But the person in the room isn’t who Test thinks he is as a figure steps up behind Test causing Test to turn freeze before turning around very slowly. IT’S THE UNDERTAKER! Test backs away very slowly holding his hands up as Taker steps closer to him to make sure the gap is the same. Taker says that Test has a big mouth but he’s yet to see if Test can walk or the walk, or if he just can talk the talk. Taker says he’ll see him at Vengeance before pushing Test back, Test falling on his backside before The Undertaker walks off. “The Undertaker has got inside the head of Test, Tazz! And once he’s in there, there is no way he’s getting out!” Tazz says that Test is a big tough guy but the Undertaker is a whole different league of pain and at Vengeance, Test could indeed be dead man walking.

Match 4: The Rock and Kurt Angle Vs. Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

(KOTW Note – It was noted that after all four of these men had finally arrived at the ring, all four of these men utterly detested each other with all four of them arguing with each other.) The match eventually started with The Rock facing off with Chris Jericho. The Rock started off with his usually slap attack before Jericho returned the favour with some of his favourite back hand chops. Jericho was the first man to take someone to the ground knocking The Rock down with a dropkick. Jericho quickly went for the cover but The Rock got the shoulder up. Austin wanted in straight away but Jericho ignored him and went straight back to work on The Rock. Jericho however moments later probably regretted not making that tag when The Rock took Jericho down with a huge clothesline. Angle shouted something to The Rock and The Rock went over to see what it was about before Angle sneakily tagged himself in to the Rock’s utter distaste and Angle went to work on Jericho beating him down to the ground with stiff bunches. Angle had the total momentum at this time hitting Jericho with a belly to belly suplex getting a 2 on the pin attempt, Jericho just getting the shoulder up. Austin who almost had to make the save, told Jericho to get his ass over to the corner and tag him in, but Angle was in too much control at this time to do anything about it. Angle twisted Jericho’s arm around and pushed him into the corner of the ring and went for a corner splash but Jericho hit him back with an elbow to the face before climbing up to the top turnbuckle and taking Angle down with a headscissors takedown before going for the pin but Angle was too sharp and got the kick out. Angle went over to The Rock and told him that’s how it’s done but The Rock retaliated in the same was as Angle did and tagged himself back in the match. The Rock went straight very Jericho taking him down with a huge spine buster. Jericho was in deep trouble. The Rock then kicked Jericho in the head and signalled it was time sweeping off his elbow pad. Austin was not happy about this and Austin tried to get in the ring but the referee stopped him. Michael Cole said it was time for the most electrifying move in the Sports Entertainment…the People’s……KURT ANGLE HIT THE ANGLE SLAM ON THE ROCK!!! “WHY KURT WHY?” shouts Michael Cole. Austin gets back out of the ring but Angle is leaving the arena all together. Tazz says this ring is filled with combustible elements tonight. Stone Cold watches on as Chris Jericho crawls over The Rock for the cover…..1……..2…….2.999 The Rock gets the shoulder up. Angle stands at the top of the entrance ramp in utter shock as Jericho is using the ropes to get back to his feet. Jericho looks around….he goes for the LIONSAULT but The Rock gets the knees up and Jericho rolls away, Austin is shaking his head at Jericho and climbs down off the apron holding his head. The Rock and Jericho meanwhile are trading punches, Jericho tries to whip The Rock into the ropes but The Rock counters and The Rock goes for a back body drop but Jericho counters and hits the Rock with a knee lift. Jericho goes over to his corner and tells Austin to tag himself in but Austin tells Jericho to go screw himself. The Rock comes from behind Jericho and goes for a roll up but Jericho kicks out. Jericho gets back to his feet but The Rock hits Jericho with a forearm smash and now The Rock is telling Austin to tag himself in. Austin mouths back at The Rock and climbs back tagging himself in before getting in the ring. Austin and The Rock go face to face staring off at each other pushing each other backward. WAIT! Angle is back and the Rock starts to brawl with him…Jericho attacks Austin. Tazz and Cole both agree that this is mayhem. Angle belly to belly suplexes The Rock over the top rope as Austin clotheslines Jericho out of the ring. Angle turns around…….STUNNER by Austin. Austin goes for the pin on Angle but the referee tells Austin that Angle is not the legeal man. Stone Cold desperately looks around and finally spots The Rock on the outside. Austin climbs out of the ring and grabs hold of The Rock but The Rock low blows Austin and Austin drops. Jericho crawls back into the ring…Jericho covers Angle……1………2…….3. Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin bt. Kurt Angle and The Rock at 14:35(KOTW Rating - ****)(KOTW Note - Man the overness is so tight between these 4. The fans are totally digging them!). After the match, the camera goes around all four of the competitors who are totally exhausted, Cole saying that this match was absolutely insane, with all 4 opponents desperately wanting the WWF Championship Gold.

Daddy’s Little Girl

Backstage, Vince McMahon returns to his office looking even more confused about who might be the WWF Championship Number One Contender when he notices on the floor that his cell phone screen says “4 Missed Calls”. Vince picks up his phone and notices he has a message, so he checks it out, the camera focusing on Vince’s face while he’s checking the call. Something isn’t quite right as Vince’s face turns white at the message. What could have been so disturbing to Vince? Vince slowly closes the phone, in total shock and says “Stephanie is coming to RAW?”.

“What the hell could that mean?” shouts Michael Cole as the camera shows Vince McMahon sitting down on his sofa before the screen finally fades to black.

Sunday Night Heat

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Sunday Night Heat! I am Kevin Kelly and I am joined here tonight with the one and only Al Snow, Al how’s that pay rise going?”

"Just fine Thank you Kev, firstly I’ve gotta say I can not wait for tonight’s action, it’s going to be insane, however nothing quite like how much/little beer you could down last week in front of Austin, that was pathetic!"

"I don’t know what you mean?!"

“I think they call it, light..lightweight, something like that, I wouldn’t know, anywho…”

“Oh that’s real funny! Ha Ha”

“I thought so…”

“Anyway Ladies and Gentlemen we are kicking off tonight with Lance Storm Vs. Albert, this is what Lance Storm had to say earlier”

Wrestling is not a joke

In the Arena parking lot, The Coach catches up with Lance Storm on his way to the arena. The Coach asks Lance about his thoughts on tonight’s match. Storm says that he’s glad the Coach asked because he’s got something important to say about tonight’s opponent. Storm says that one of the reasons that he made it big in the Wrestling industry is because he respects the business that he is in. He treats wrestling seriously, like any competitive sport should be treated. The same cannot be said for his opponent Albert, a.k.a Matt Bloom. Storm said that Bloom is nothing more than a Wrestling Prostitute selling out at every opportunity, to whatever gimmick necessary to keep himself live on your televisions. Storm lists some of Bloom’s past gimmicks such as Baldo, Prince Albert and of course Albert. Storm said the list could go on and on and so could the gimmicks he aligns himself too such as piercings and dancing sidekick. Storm says that unlike Bloom however, he does not need a gimmick to be respected and that people that do need them make him sick. That’s why, tonight, he is going to beat some respect into Albert for the good of this industry and that is a guarantee.

Match 1: Lance Storm vs. Albert

(KOTW Note – When we return to the arena, Albert had already begun to make his way to the ring. Al Snow and Kevin Kelly discuss the Lance Storm interview. Al Snow said they have a term in the Wrestling Industry for people like Lance Storm. It’s called “boring”. Albert gets a few cheers from the audience before Storm hits the ring and we get ready for the first match.) Storm and Albert lock up and it is immediately evident that Albert has by far the strength advantage winning a lock up battle before pushing Storm away laughing at Storm. Albert invites Storm to have another go and Storm does, Albert winning with strength again but this time, Storm uses his feet and halts Albert a boot to the gut before trying to get some pace with an Irish whip attempt on Albert, Albert quickly reversing it before knocking him down with a shoulder block. Albert certainly wants a piece of Storm today, whipping Storm into the corner turnbuckle before going for a splash attempt only to be halted by an elbow to the face by Storm. Storm quickly hops onto the top turnbuckle before hitting a beautiful tornado DDT on Albert, before going for the pin but Albert is far from down yet with a kick out straight after the 2. Storm gets back to his feet and stomps away on Albert before taunting the ground raising his arms. Storm then goes back to Albert to get some more action but Albert isn’t going to take this beat down easily and starts to fight back with some hard right hands of his own. Storm slows down Albert’s momentum with an eye rake before taking him back down to the ground with a standing dropkick trying to end the match with a second cover but he only gets a 2 again. Storm looks up. Al Snow comments that the more Storm gets frustrated, the more chance he’s going to have of slipping up. Kevin Kelly seconds that feeling saying it will only take Albert a minute to hit that baldo bomb and when he does, Good Night Irene. Al Snow is less than impressed with the Tazz line but any who the match continues. Storm beats away at Albert with his fists before going for another cover but the referee once again only gives him a 2 count. Storm bangs his hands hard against the mat. Storm gets up and once again goes up to the top turnbuckle. Storm has his back to Albert and Al Snow voices his concerns. “Lance Storm has a history of back troubles; I don’t think this is wise Lance”. Storm goes for a Moonsault on Albert but Albert rolls out of the way and Storm crashes hard into the mat. Storm’s high adrenaline must have been the only thing that made him get to his feet in a reasonably quick time but what he got for his troubles was THE BALDO BOMB! Albert sure has it………………1…………………..2………………….Storm grabs the bottom rope. Albert can’t believe it, Kevin Kelly neither, while Al Snow is less surprised. Snow comments that Storm has been in this business for a hell of a long time and no one knows the inside of the ring better than him. Albert is back on his feet, he really wants to end this right now. Albert grabs hold of Lance Storm, he wants to hit that Canadian Backbreaker drop and finish this but Storm counters the move and hitting Albert with the sit out rear mat slam. Storm crawls slowly getting back to his feet and stands in front of Albert as he tries himself to get up, here it comes……SUPERKICK ON ALBERT producing a huge echo around the arena before hooking the leg……….1…………..2…………………3….Lance Storm bt. Albert at 12.34-(KOTW Score: ***)(KOTW Note – Lance Storm gets over will the audience once more. Lance is finally starting to pick up some momentum).

After the match Lance Storm gets to his feet and raises his arms to the crowd before climbing out of the arena. Kevin Kelly remarks about how seriously Lance Storm takes himself. Al Snow tells Kelly not to forget that Lance Storm comes from a serious background, he trained a Stu Hart’s Dungeon in Alberta Canada. Al Snow also says that Lance also had to do what many of the modern day Wrestlers didn’t and that is work his way to the top. Snow says that Lance went from Japan, to ECW, to WCW and finally making it to the World Wrestling Federation.

The Undertaker vs. Test Saga

Kevin Kelly said he wanted to take some time to discuss the current situation regarding Test and The Undertaker. Al Snow said that Test has been suffering the consequences of his actions since over a week ago; Test came out to the ring and demanded more respect and attention. Of course, as the old saying goes, “be careful what you wish for” because Test caught then attention of the conscience of the WWF, The Phenom, The Undertaker. Test obviously was affected by the challenge of the Undertaker as Test had become a lot more nervous backstage. On Monday Night Raw, Test panicked while collecting some CDs from the trunk of his car when he heard a motorbike rev in the parking lot, even though it was Chuck Palumbo. Test did not respond too kindly to Chuck’s enthusiasm for bikes. Then on Smackdown, Test spilled some of his moisturiser cream on his pants after someone knocked on his door. It looks like The Undertaker has got inside the head of this young superstar. However, it wasn’t too long till the two men finally came face to face once again, Test being fooled by a note asking him to meet in the arena boiler room, thinking it was Stacy Keibler giving him the message. Taker told Test that he would see him at Vengeance. Can Test overcome the man who has dominated the WWF for nearly a decade? Find out in seven days at WWF Vengeance.

Seriously, I am Not Afraid at the Undertaker

After Kevin Kelly and Al Snow recap the past few weeks, Kevin Kelly introduces The Coach who is interviewing Test moments before his match tonight on Heat. The camera is focused on Test, and Test doesn’t look too happy. The Coach asks Test how he’s feeling and despite his visual appearance, Test says that he’s feeling 100%. He’s feeling fantastic. The Coach reminds Test that in Seven Days, he’s going to be going one on one with The Undertaker. The Coach wants to know how Test can mentally prepare for that. Especially considering the actions of the Test over the past few weeks would suggest that the Undertaker already has the psychological advantage over him. Test says that is utter crap and that he wants to make it clear that he fears no one. Test says that he is quite frankly a marvel of a man. Test says that men want to be him, and women want to be with him. Test says that if anyone should be scared then…it should be The Undertaker and as for dominance, Test tells The Coach just to check him out in the ring tonight.

Kevin Kelly informs us that Test’s match is next before the show goes to an advert. “Don’t be a bonehead, don’t’ be a clown. Please DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME!”

Match 2: Test vs. Michael Verde

(KOTW Note – When the show returns, Test’s competitor Michael Verde is already in the ring. Kevin Kelly tells the fans not to underestimate Verde who is a native of Philadelphia. Al Snow agrees revealing that this guy is well known on the Indy circuit and no doubt going to be a big name in the future. Test’s music then hits the arena to which the fans boo, Test is certainly not liked in these parts). Verde tries to get on the offensive immediately attacking Test as he gets into the ring. However, this offence was short lived as Test quickly reversed an Irish whip attempt and seconds later, Verde was eating big boot. Al Snow gasped with surprise. Both announce could believe it as Test grabbed the rookie off the ground and chucked him in the corner, slapping him across the face a few times with his hand before choking him some more with his boot. Al Snow pointed out that Verde’s lip was bleeding as he was flat out not with it on the ground. Test decided he had enough of this game and lifted Verde up before hitting the pumphandle slam on Verde before finally making the cover, a quick 3 count and this match is over! Test bt. Michael Verde at 1.24-(KOTW Score: **)(KOTW Note – Test destroys rookie wrestler to get further over with the fans in this quick match). After the match is over Test climbs up the turnbuckle and raises his arms to the crowd, creating an even louder disapproval from the crowds before……”KEEP ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN!” blasted out of the PA system the fans jumping to their feet as Test quickly climbed down of the turnbuckle. Test looked around everywhere. Where was The Undertaker? Al Snow and Kevin Kelly both stated there was no sight of the Taker but Test climbed out of the ring and quickly escaped through the audience. Al said “It looks like Test isn’t going to wait around where The Undertaker is…” Kevin Kelly calling Test nothing but a coward. Either way, it’s time for another break.

When the show returns, Kelly and Snow recap at what just happened. Kelly then tells us what happened during the break showing Test running through the backstage area to the parking lot where he makes a quick getaway, throwing his duffel bag into the back seat before quickly reversing his car and making a break for it. Kevin Kelly asks Al Snow how in the hell Test is going to get in the ring with the Undertaker at Vengeance. Al Snow isn’t sure. Kevin Kelly then brings us onto something else we’re not sure about…the man who is buying into the WWF.

Recap Number 2

Kevin Kelly and Al Snow discuss the previous few weeks of Mr. McMahon’s WWF Championship reign, which both announcers agree is the beginning of Vince’s latest Saga. Al says the biggest turning point is Smackdown a week ago where Vince McMahon cancels the Round Robin Tournament between The Rock and Stone Cold upsetting the fans of the World Wrestling Federation. Al Snow says a key to success in this business is keeping the fans happy as it is the fans that bring the money to the table. Kevin Kelly agrees entirely with Al’s point but the fans would have probably forgiven him if it wasn’t for his behaviour last Monday on RAW where Vince McMahon tells the fans that he no longer gives a damn about them. Kelly said that pushed the people over the edge as well as the shareholders. Al Snow said while at that time, no one could have known what the new buyers plans were and exactly how much they intended to make but this was soon made clear at the end of RAW when Joel Gertner appeared, telling the whole world that the new shareholder intended to make Vince’s life a living hell destroying his career, his life and taking the only thing he loves (his business) away from him. All answers as to how and when this was going to start were also answered between RAW and Smackdown, with everything coming to a climax at Vengeance. One thing is for sure and that is if this new player does come in to power, Vince McMahon will NOT remain WWF Champion.

Kevin Kelly says he can not wait for Vengeance and Al Snow seconds that motion. Kevin Kelly informs us that we are moments away from the Main Event of Heat and standing by with The Coach right now is none other than the European Championship Challenger, Christian

This is my Destiny

Christian is backstage with the Coach. The Coach asks Christian firstly why he chose Heat to invoke his WWF Championship rematch clause. Christian said it’s simple and that the reason he chose Heat is because Heat is Christian’s territory. Christian loves Heat. It’s the place where he works every week, he wins every week, and most of all, and it’s the place where the fans appreciate him the most….that’s why Christian has made the challenge for tonight. The Coach looks confused but nevertheless, he soldiers on. The Coach asks Christian what he feels are his keys to victory tonight and why he lost on RAW the previous week. Christian says that the reason he lost was simply because he was screwed. He says that RAW is all about being disorganised and is disrespectful to the little guy, the European Champions of the World. Christian says Vince McMahon called him up on Sunday Night and asked him to appear on RAW. Christian says he was not aware that his title was on the line and wasn’t aware of his opponent. Christian says with obstacles like that, it is impossible to win and that in the good old days, things like that wouldn’t be allowed. Christian says that tonight is different because he knows Rikishi’s weakness, he’s physically and mentally prepared for this challenge, and that with all his peeps behind him, there is no way he can lose. It’s his destiny! Christian gives one final stare into the camera before the camera cuts and we go back to ring side.

Match 3: WWF European Championship Match – Rikishi © vs. Christian

(KOTW Note – Christian hit the ring first and tried to rile the fans up climbing up the turnbuckles and saluted them but the crowds generally booed in return. Al Snow tells Kevin Kelly that he’s impressed at how much support has come out for Christian tonight but Kevin Kelly fails to see anyone supporting him. Rikishi on the other hands come out to a huge pop from the audience, the WWF European Championship belt over his shoulder as he makes his way to the ring. This match is going to be good!). As soon as Rikishi got into the ring, Christian went straight for the jugular with a swift offensive assault. Christian however was slowed down by a failed whip attempt, with Rikishi reversing it for his own benefit, with Christian ending up on the receiving end of a belly to belly suplex. Rikishi and Christian got back to their feet, Rikishi keeping the pace up whipping Christian into the turnbuckle. Rikishi went for the splash in the corner but Christian manoeuvred out of the way before going back on the offensive with some right hands after he gained some high climbing the turnbuckle. Christian had hit about 8 shouts before Rikishi hit Christian with a modified choke bomb almost getting the 3. Christian rolled up the ropes and tried to get himself up on the outside. Rikishi tried to keep on top of things but instead walked straight into the hangman’s neckbreaker. Christian took advantage and hit Rikishi with a beautiful neckbreaker taking him down hard to the mat. Christian climbed over Rikishi and went for a cover himself but he only got the 2. Christian stomped away hard on Rikishi before making his up the turnbuckle waiting for Rikishi to get back to his feet. Here he comes…missile drop kick by Christian. He covers but once again only the 2. Christian looks disappointed slamming his hands against the canvas. Christian gets back to his feet again and stomps away on Rikishi but Rikishi is trying to get up. Christian bounces off the ropes and tries to knock Rikishi down with a shoulder block but there is no movement, so he tries again this time getting some movement…….a third should suffice. Christian bounces off the ropes and gets hit with a huge uppercut from Rikishi. Rikishi grabs hold of Christian and he head butts him. “Christian is in trouble now!” Rikishi grabs hold of him again and hits him with a second headbutt. Christian is looking dizzy. Christian is swung into the ropes, SAVATE KICK by Rikishi. Rikishi drags Christian into the corner. Kevin Kelly looks away. Al Snow tells the world that Christian’s recent winning streak on Heat is coming to a end. Will it be? BANZAI DROP on Christian. 1………….2………………….3……It’s over! Rikishi bt. Christian at 11.49 to retain the WWF European Championship.-(KOTW Score: ***)(KOTW Note – Rikishi is over with the fans once more as Christian lies in the corner of the ring, his hopes and dreams, just like his chest, crushed by Rikishi). After the match, Rikishi climbs up diagonal ring posts raising the WWF European Championship belt celebrating with the fans as Christian slowly gets to his feet. Al Snow comments that you can tell from the expressions of the two wrestlers exactly what happened in the match, Rikishi high fiving some fans before leaving the arena, Christian still standing in the centre of the ring. Al Snow tells Kevin Kelly to buckle his belt cos something is about to go down as Christian grabs hold of a mic, the crowd going silent.

Christian tells the fans that he wants the fans attention, and they better listen real carefully because he’s only going to say this once. Christian tells the fans that enough is enough, so he’s got two words for them. “I QUIT!” Christian’s music hits as soon as he drops the mic, Al Snow and Kevin Kelly both shocked but the fans, they take it much better. Kevin Kelly and Al Snow thank us for coming to the show, the camera focusing on Christian once last time as he stands at the exit to the stage to a chorus of “Hey Hey Hey! Goodbye” Chants from the audience before the screen finally fades to black.
