Exactly, so I would say there is no way MLB could penalize them.

I feel the same way about Pacman Jones. He has been arrested all these times but he has never been convicted and I feel it us unfair for him to be suspended for the year when you got guys like Tank Johnson and Chris Henry who were convicted and didn't get near as long of a suspension.

I was at the Mets/Astros game today and it was so hot that I don't think most of the fans realized Glavine had a perfecto going through 5. When he gave up his first hit and I started applauding, most of the people (14 of us in total) I was at the game with didn't understand why I was clapping.

Philadelphia and San Diego need to start losing, every time the Dodgers win it seems they do to. It just so happens they win every time the Dodgers lose too. I have conceded that Arizona is winning the division but the Wild Card hopes are dwindling equally as fast. The Phils are getting St. Louis in the middle of a billion game losing streak and San Diego is getting the woeful Pirates. I can only hope for a miracle.

The Yankees are gonna win the AL East this year. There's no rational explanation for a 14 game comeback other than it's all goddamn rigged.

Now, I'm a Red Sox fan, but this year just didn't feel right to me, with the Sawx so comfortably out in front. Something was missing.

Then the Yanks started their run and the voices in Boston, nay, all of CT got louder until I realized what was lacking.

Everything feels normal again =)

All of New England has been on the panic button for a while. Now we're pressing like crazy. All we could think about today was 3.5. Tommorrow it'll be 2.5.

I'll be glad once we're done with Toronto.

Looks like New York's a game and a half back. More importantly, the Cubs managed to pull into the lead in the NL Central race after being tied going into last night's game. Cubbies took their game, Brewers were beaten by the Astros. Cubs have the Pirates next and the Brewers have ATL, I'm not getting my hopes up but that seems like the odds are in our favour.
