Queen's Blood (Final Fantasy Thread)

it's weird that you say it was the start of the "shit slope" of FFXIII and then praise its gameplay. Changing the gameplay was what made FF worse for me, the rest was just window dressing.

I don't think it's weird at all. I enjoyed the battle system and think overall X-2 is well worth playing. However there are other aspects of the game which I didn't like and would become more prevalent as the series went on. I'd say it was more weird to dismiss the presentation and storytelling flaws as "just window dressing".

I also really liked 12. It's the only one since X that I'd consider a day one purchase looking back with hindsight. Great atmosphere and characters and I thought the battle system was decent, if a little uninvolving at times. The gambit system was okay and easy to get to grips with, but I couldn't be bothered with setting anything up overly complicated.

Fuck all that, X-2 was great and XII was a shitty single player MMO.

FUCK YOU OLLIE, EAT ALL THE DICKS!

You have made a very powerful enemy, my former friend.

Final Fantasy Spira's Got Talent is shit, Final Fantasy Star Wars is fucking amazing.
