Dangan Ronpa ep 8-9

Really well played case this time, the suicide angle made almost too much sense, and Monobear making them go through the trial anyway just highlights what a sadistic bastard he is.

And the series makes you really wonder what the endgame will be like, or who besides Naegi and Kirigiri will be left for it.

I'm thinking Genocider will die in the next arc. Probably as the victim, though her execution scene would be probably be an interesting one if she's the culprit.

Now, before I click that spoiler.....are you spoiling who it is, or speculating?

Because if you know who it is (like Mick), I don't want to click that. I hate reading about things before they happen in the show!

Yeah it would be less obvious if we didn't have like 5 episodes now where there's a Female Titan but no Annie to be seen. I'm sure it's her because, well, everything adds up.

Yeah, she seemed to be such a big deal while in training....they aren't going to build up a character to be that badass, only to replace her with some other random blonde who is nowhere near as awesome.

Although, I understand the 'no Annie to be seen' part, since she did decide to join the Military Police or something. But it just HAS to be her. BUT WHO IS SHE WORKING WITH?! DUN DUN DUN.

...probably Eren's dad.

I think she's working with a whole bunch of people. We know humans can turn into titans. We've seen Eren, Female Titan, Colossal Titan, and Armored Titan who all appear to be humans who can transform. It's possible the latter two are lurking in the Military Police, Survey, or Garrison as well. In fact it's extremely likely since where else would they be? Erwin basically established that the enemies are everywhere, not just the titans.

Who killed the two titans earlier? And how did they escape? They have to be able to engage in some serious stealth or have a very good hiding place. I've got a theory that the walls, given how big they are, work as a network of tunnels for the titans (or something similar). The classic "hiding right under our nose" idea. I mean how else would the Colossal Titan escape unseen? They're these huge structures and it's been established that humans don't have the technology to build them at present, so maybe the titans built them? Humans weren't protecting themselves from the titans, but titans were trapping humans within.

I'm not completely sure, but Eren going berserk makes me think that all titans were once humans but eventually they can lose control and turn into aberrants. I'm sure there's a lot more here though, how the titans originated being one. But I suspect it started with humans desiring the power to turn into superhumans, and everything going chaotic after that.

I'm posting two sets here. One is speculation, the other are pure spoilers. The first one is safe.

Speculation

The thing that bothers me with the Titans is, what I call the Tom Selleck Titan, or maybe even the Rick Rude Titan. This particular titan is just another mook, no real significance to the plot. However, the thing that bothers me is the way he's groomed. He looks like he should be coming out to shoot a porno in the 80s, versus the very wild and feral look the other titans have. I think this means that most of the titans were once people, somehow transformed into titans.

This set of spoilers does not contain speculation, but are in fact spoilers that will reveal some crucial plot elements. Don't come bitching to me if you click it, you're warned.

First off, yes, the Armored Titan and the Colossal Titan are indeed like Eren. The question is "who are they?". Well, I read the manga so I already know :shifty: .

Identities:

Armored is Reiner Braun, ranked number 2 in the in the trainees.

Colossal is Bertolt Hoover, ranked number 3 in the trainees.

Second, yes, you are correct about the titan's associations with the walls. Here's a fun question: What keeps the walls up?

Answer: Titans. There are literally titans inside the walls. They don't do anything because apparently the bastards are solar powered.

Just watched the first episode of 'The World Only God Knows', it's funny and cute! Although...

With the girls losing their memories after every 'conquest', it's gonna be hard on the main character. He's going to fall in love with all of these girls, saving them in the process....but then poof. They lose all memory of it

Welp, I'm on the love train for Silver Spoon. The first episode was buckets of fun.

It's funny, heartwarming, and educational!
