Holy Diver

Recommended Posts

A 24-year-old man from Wisconsin has been charged with assaulting two men over one of them performing a dreadful karaoke version of Dio’s ‘Holy Diver’. It is alleged that Wisconsin resident Kyle D. Drinkwine put 28-year-old James Mischler and his 29-year-old friend Cyrus Kozub in chokeholds following their abomination of Dio’s ‘Holy Diver’. Drinkwine’s blood alcohol content was registered at .169, roughly twice the state limit.

There's a state limit on how drunk you're allowed to be?

If you jump in a car and start driving, your blood alcohol content needs to be below .08 or else you can get arrested for DUI.

There's no mention of him driving, but still I'd assume there'd be a legal definition of "intoxicated".

Maybe it's okay to beat up bad karaoke singers as long as you're not intoxicated while doing so?

Public intoxication is against the law. Hence why cops aren't allowed to sit outside of bars, since as soon as you walk out you're breaking the law. Thank god for entrapment!

I'm pretty sure you'd have to make a public disturbance. Someone staggering home from the pub is hardly going to get nicked.

That... is fucking awesome. This guy should get his own television show.

Or be the 'violent drunk' judge on American Idol. Punch someone if they suck at auditions, a dollar a person.
