What's the problem with calling up the english top goalscorer last season?

I'm all for Lambert getting a call up. But i agree with Ellis. No doubt we will see Milner on the wings, Welbeck up top and Theo Walcott spurning chances left, right and centre.

Woy's also picked an U21 squad, who will face Scotland the night before the seniors; and that match will be on BT Sport.

England Under-21s squad:

Goalkeepers: Jonathan Bond (Watford), Jack Butland (Stoke City), Sam Johnstone (Manchester United), George Long (Sheffield United).

Defenders: Eric Dier (Sporting Lisbon), Todd Kane (Blackburn Rovers, on loan from Chelsea) Michael Keane (Manchester United), Jack Robinson (Blackpool on loan from Liverpool), Luke Shaw (Southampton), John Stones (Everton), Tom Thorpe (Manchester United), Andre Wisdom (Liverpool).

Midfielders: Ross Barkley (Everton), Nathaniel Chalobah (Chelsea), Tom Carroll (Tottenham Hotspur), Will Hughes (Derby County), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), Jonjo Shelvey (Swansea City).

Forwards: Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle United), Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion), Thomas Ince (Blackpool), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathan Redmond (Norwich City), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Connor Wickham (Sunderland).

Is Tom Lees too old now or has he just been dropped. Absurd decision if he has, he's a decent little player but I'm glad for him getting less attention. Byram being injured atm could be a blessing in disguise, a good performance from him could have attracted unwanted attention
