The Raiders are on fire, It's my prediction that they win both remaning games and make the 8 at the expense of the Broncos.

Made that prediction before the Warriors handed Brisbane a trashing. Still holding strong.

Watched the Grand Final. Roosters :(

Will be interesting with the Storm next year, they can accumulate points again now, right?

Yeah they can.

I still very much like the look of their team, even without Inglis and I expect good things from the Storm in '11.

Brisbane Broncos withdraw Inglis offer

The Brisbane Broncos have withdrawn their offer to sign Melbourne Storm star Greg Inglis. An outstanding $30,000 legal bill with the Melbourne Storm held up the star centre's move to the Broncos.

Inglis is now expected to sign with South Sydney next week, with Rabbitohs co-owner Russell Crowe and boxer Anthony Mundine, a close friend of Inglis, working behind the scenes to get the deal done.

"The Broncos have today formally withdrawn the playing contract that was offered to Greg Inglis," Brisbane said in a statement. "These negotiations have been long and protracted, having started almost six months ago. But with the current impasse over Greg's release from the Melbourne Storm unable to be solved at this point, the Broncos feel it is time to move forward."

The dispute with the Storm resulted from Inglis's defence of an assault charge against his fiancee Sally Robinson in August last year.

The Storm's legal bill from hiring top lawyers for the trial was $113,000, with the club insisting Inglis pay $30,000 of that fee.

Inglis has refused to pay the amount, maintaining that he had no idea of who was to represent him in court and the costs involved.

The Storm have refused to release Inglis from the final two years of his contract until the matter is settled.

"We have worked long and hard on these negotiations, as have the other parties," said Broncos chief executive Bruno Cullen. "But with training already underway and no sign of the matter being resolved in a manner that would benefit the Broncos and its playing roster, it is time for the club to move on. We thank the Storm and the NRL for their co-operation, and wish Greg all the best with his future and hope he can resolve it to his satisfaction."

He might be a bit of a dick but I wouldn't say no. :w00t:

Belive it when it actually happens though.
