Poland can into space! I finished a Poland game I started a while back last night. Byzantine looked like they might have a shot at culture victory but I managed to take their cap and crippled them. By the end pretty much everyone hated me and Hiawatha because we were bros tearing it up, and despite his also dominanating he never looked like winning.

A lot of Civs are cheap if you now how to skew the terrian the right way; I always hate people showing off pics of their Awesome game, only to see that they're pulling some kind of BS, like Venice or England on archi, where you'd really have to go out of your way to lose.

It always bothers me when you have another Civ with their backs to the wall, and you offer peace, even with generous terms, and they absolutely refuse. It's like.."do you people want to die?!" I had thi sone where Catherine just refused to accept peace, until she had lost all her cities on her mainland, left with just one crappy island city. She accepted peace.

Then the Danes came in and gave the coup de grace.

Oh my god I love Persia so much. Stringing Golden Age after Golden Age and just watching your dudes run all over the map is so great. Get the Chicken Pizza, get a ton of artists, and then just pop them all when you're good and ready.
