Exactly. The First Division didn't actually get a name change in the early 90s, the Premier League teams resigned and everyone else effectively shifted up, Division 1 remaining the top division of the Football League. League 1 being the second Football League division is just silly.

They were silly names when the English leagues brought them in and they're silly now.

Well prior to that the first division was the second division, the second division was the third division and the third division was the fourth division. Which is confusing.

As opposed to League 1 being the third division, League 2 being the fourth decision and so on?

So Rangers are back in the headlines...

- Charles Green returns as an advisor, implies that McCoist needs to win a cup as well as the league to avoid the sack.

- Rangers lose in the cup to Forfar, McCoist goes beserk at Green, calls him an embarrassment.

- Walter Smith resigns and non-executive chairman.

- Green says that he is the savior of Rangers and should be given freedom of the city of Glasgow.

Whole thing is really messy.

Celtic striker and Republic of Ireland international Anthony Stokes has been questioned by police about an alleged assault on an Elvis impersonator.

Mr Stokes, 25, was arrested in his home city of Dublin on Monday morning and taken to Irishtown garda station.
It is believed an Elvis impersonator was treated for a suspected broken nose and chipped teeth after an alleged assault at a Dublin nightclub in June.
Mr Stokes was released without charge and a file is being sent to the DPP.
The footballer was back home in Dublin over the weekend, for a friendly between Celtic and Liverpool, when he was arrested by detectives investigating the assault claim.
The impersonator, a 42-year-old man, sustained his injuries at Buck Whaley's nightclub on 8 June, just hours after a match between the Republic of Ireland and the Faroe Islands.
Mr Stokes signed for Celtic three years ago and has played for the club 83 times.

BBC Scotland can reveal that Charles Green has agreed to stand down as a consultant at Rangers and sell his shareholding in the club. It follows discussions by conference call with the Rangers board today and repeated calls for him to go.
The man who led a consortium to save the club last year has been under pressure to walk away following infighting at boardroom level.
He quit as chief executive earlier this year following allegations about his dealings with former owner Craig Whyte but returned as a consultant. He also had several high profile fall outs with manager Ally McCoist.

Really Nice to see Petrov back at celtic park yesterday. As was the case for many legends including Henrik, Bobo, O'Neill and others. Best part of the game was 1D memeber Louis Tomlinson being taken out by GabbyAgbonlahor!
