What, like the backpass rule, (alleged ) changes to the offside rule and bookings for diving? The laws of the game change all the time, if its a good change we shouldn't not make it for the sake of tradition.

That said the sin bin thing is a complicated one, what do you have to do to go in? And as I said I don't agree with changes to correct double punishment (triple? Nonsense).

It's more trouble than it's worth. There's bullshit bookings every week - it'd suck to lose the game in the 10minute period that you're a man down due to a shocking decision. It's bad enough when a player is wrongly red carded.

The sin bin is nothing like the backpass rule in terms of how much disruption and change it'd cause to the fundamental game of professional football. It's an awful idea.

The back pass rule was just an alteration to the game. The sin bin idea is adding something completely new and alien to the game. I was joking about "half time multi-ball" but seriously, where does it end?
