BAFTA nominations have been released and Mr. Turner has been snubbed, which is beyond ridiculous. It's nowhere near Mike Leigh's best film, but to not nominate Timothy Spall for best actor is just outright stupid, his performance is like one of those once-in-a-lifetime kind of things. Would kind of except him to be snubbed by The Oscars, but not Bafta's.

I'd say Imitation Game is worth watching. Benedict Cumberbatch and Matthew Goode are both on top form. Plus it has Charles Dance, which ups the excellence further.

Birdman definitely is. I liked The imitation Game well enough. I haven't seen Theory of Everything, but it looks boring as hell to me, personally.
