Hornswoggle4PM
Can't believe nobody's posted this yet. Mark Boucher retires after being hit in the eye by a bail Almost 15 years worth of international cricket, and has to be rated as one of the best South Africans ever to play the game. Lee retiring is unsurprising, but probably just as well. He was beginning to lose his edge a bit but he had a great career as well.
Plubby
Two greats leaving. Sad. Lee after that Ashes test loss when he had the partnership with Kasprowicz a few series back is still just amazing footage from a sports fan perspective. Admin Lineker Posted July 13, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 Boucher's eye injury looked horrific.

That was incredible to watch, such a pity Kasper got given out when he missed it. But they really shouldn't have done as well as they did. His partnership with Andy Bichel in 03-04 to win an ODI was amazing too, and as spectacular as his bowling was Brett was better to watch when he was hitting sixes onto the Gabba roof. Admin Lineker Posted July 19, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 England win the toss and bat first against South Africa in the first Test at The Oval.
Admin Lineker Posted July 21, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 We're all out for 385 but SA are currently 330-2. Not good.
ChrisSteeleAteMyHamster
If you want to beat South Africa then your middle order needs to do something and your tail needs to wag. Sadly we went something like 118-8. Not gonna win with that, whatever your first few guys get.
Matt
At least if we can bat for a day or so, we should force the draw here. I can't see South Africa being out/declaring much before tea tomorrow.
Plubby
If there's one thing I like to see more than the South Africans getting pummeled about the park in the first innings, it's watching the English getting dispatched to all corners in the second. Great game for the neutrals
Johnny Drama
Amla the first South African to get a triple ton. We're three down already.
Admin Lineker Posted July 23, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 At last South Africa put us out of our misery. Dismal.
MJB
253 needed off 39. Going to be incredibly tough, but at least we have a chance.
Sir Alan LCSugar
KP is now saying he could retire from Test matches. This back and forward with the ECB is getting boring now.
Admin Lineker Posted August 12, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted August 12, 2012 KP commits to all forms of England cricket and is then subsequently left out of the squad for the third test against South Africa.
MJB
You get the feeling that this could get a bit messy. Huge shame. KP is still one of, if not the, best player in all three forms of the game.
Admin Lineker Posted August 16, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 South Africa are currently 191-6 on day one of the third Test against England. Jacques Rudolph was bowled out for 42 straight after tea by Graeme Swann.
MDK
Just realised there is a player called Duminy That is the closest I've ever seen my surname outside of my family!
Johnny Drama
and the great start of yesterday gets us nowhere as we sit 94/4 need a big innings from Bell here.
