Matt
Haven't watched too much of it today because I fell asleep earlier, but you've got to love this from KP. Whenever he has critics, he answers them in the best way possible. Yeah, good innings but to say he's our star batsman, 3 test centuries in 3 (well 2 and a half) calendar years isn't exactly a brilliant return albeit he did miss a few tests around the time of the Ashes 2009. Not slagging him off, I'm a fan of him but he's been out of form and has been criticised as such for a while now, it's not like he's instantly responded to the critics. But anyway, well played KP and I hope it's the start of a rich vein of form.
Baddar
Oh, it has been far from instant, but it's times like these when he reminds everyone how good he can be. If he gets out for 5 runs, the media are quick to question his love of the game.
Admin Lineker Posted July 23, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 India are 102-2 at lunch. Broad is having a good day, getting both wickets (including Mukund on 49!)
Rich
Exciting stuff, great work from England and now India, I can't wait to go see it at Edgbaston in 3 weeks, got a really good deal
Baddar
Broad takes out Tendulkar, too!
Plubby
Straussy, Straussy, Straussy....I haven't seen that epic a bobble since Robert Green!
Admin Lineker Posted July 23, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 241-7. They're really starting to fall away not. .4 more needed to avoid the follow-on.
Rich
India all out for 286, looking fairly tasty for England now
Baddar
Jesus fucking christ. England falling apart, Sharma on fire. I went down the shop with one wicket down - I come back, and they're 62-5, with Strauss, Pietersen, Bell and now Trott all gone. The lead is only 250. They're in danger of losing this now. Big innings needed from Morgan and Prior.
Admin Lineker Posted July 24, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted July 24, 2011 Finished England 474-8 dec & 269-6 dec v India 286 & 80-1. I reckon that we should just squeak it.
Baddar
We've got India at four down, before lunch. Definitely in control now, but I fancy Tendulkar and either Raina or Dhoni to make this interesting for at least another hour or two. Admin Lineker Posted July 25, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted July 25, 2011 India 156-4. Tendulkar should have been given put lbw but poor officiating and the lack of a review system saves him...
Plubby
To the naked eye, I thought it was a touch high the first time I saw it. It looks like he gets a much bigger stride in than he actually does.
Rich
Tendulkar now gone for lbw, he will not get the elusive century at Lord's... Maybe he is waiting to do it at Edgbaston so I can see it
Baddar
Game over. Can't fault it!

Matt
Nice one, not seen any of this over the last 2 days but I'm glad we've won - I didn't think we would. 2 more wins and we're #1 in the world no matter what.
